The employees and workers are very cooperative and it impressed me that the simple workers know the history of the castle and the history of every corner of it and explain at length without any financial compensation.
A place full of history, amazing day ends with taking a boat , did some gift shopping, must visit if you are in Alexandria, plan to spend 2-3 hours there , make sure to have hat and water if you are going during summer time .

A very beautiful castle, you can go to it by taxi, or boarding the tourist buses or the microbus. It is possible to climb freely with children, as well as there is the Aquarium Museum, which contains fish and marine life of the Mediterranean. We wish you a pleasant visit

Memories smell of history a nice touch where the sea meet with the history and the nice weather protecting Alexandria from the enemies it was always the shield once u go there u realize that Egypt is great country and everything in that citadel shows it if u went to Alexandria it is a must see place and the is coffee shops and resturants the very nice place I enjoyed if with my family

The political mafia is controlling the area and it is impossible to find a place for the car unless you are very early in the visit
