Cool place to collaborate but be cautious with you...

Cool place to collaborate but be cautious with your unique ideas. Some people don't respect the value of inventors. Also it is not a safe place for kids. The main entry area on the 7th floor has a sofa next to a ledge where a child could fall to their death. I told Geekdom management and Graham Weston the building owner but he did not care or do anything about it. Maybe the new management or Weston Urban Construction might care.

I love Geekdom. The facilities are clean and perfect for networking with other like-minded individuals. Geekdom has 3 floors in the Rand Building:Floors 6,7, and 8. The owner Lorenzo is very courteous and helpful. I love this place. It offers so much from free coffee to printing for members. Geekdom is 24-7, so it doesn't ever close.

Great place to hang out and work/play on the computer. Seems like a good place to get help on projects, one of the requirements is to volunteer to help. They have a snack bar. You can also print/copy. They offer mailboxes for running a business. Membership is affordable, and they currently have a discounted rate for military.

Parking downtown sucks, look up the deals sometimes you can park free or discounted at some of the nearby lots. Traffic downtown can be pretty terrible, especially at rush hour.
