Great staff and good food only thing was our french fries were cold

The rooms were very nice and the whole place had a very mountainy feel. The beds and pillows however weren't exactly the most comfortable. In addition, the free breakfast in the morning left a lot to be desired, but it was free so I can't be too hard on Gateway Inn for that.

We enjoyed our stay here. There was an issue with our room but we were well taken care of. Highly recommend going. Grand Lake is beautiful.

My friend and I needed a place to stay. It was 11pm, and this was the first inn we stumbled upon. Unsure of whether or not it was open, we walked inside. Even though we arrived a full hour past close, they still let us get a room. The staff helping us were very kind and understanding. The room was beautiful, clean, spacious, and well decorated. The two of us would definitely recommend this inn.

Cozy rooms, great food, great staff and great atmosphere over all!

Nice place and good value for money. Clean and friendly staff. Great bar area with games which you don t usually find at a lodge! Clean rooms and outdoor hot tub. We will definitely return.

OK room but I could smell the food from the restaurant all day and night, it was disgusting.

Beautiful log cabin motel, the room was great, the bed was comfy and the view from the patio was spectacular

I liked the place overall very cozy however there is no microwaves in the room we had to go down and ask to get our food heated but felt like staff wasn't really very friendly... The bed we had was truly uncomfortable didn't sleep good at all. Love grand Lake but still think west Riviera cabins are the best....

It has a good location close to Hwy 34. Our room was huge and recently built. We weren't able to have dinner at their bistro as they close early on Sundays at 8 pm. The alternative was the bar which proved to be below par. The hamburger I ordered reminded me of the ones you can get at a kid's backyard party. Go somewhere else in town for dinner. Also, plan well ahead for your reservation since it fills up quickly.

The place is very clean and tastefully decorated.
You really get the mountain lodge feeling , right down to the smores on the huge deck, while enjoying the night sky.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

This property has a real rustic, mountain feel. Very warm and inviting. A log cabin type of architecture. Nice full window view out of the bar and lounge area to the lake and mountains. We had 2 double beds in our room and they were strangely high, as though on a pedestal. It was actually difficult to get into bed. You couldn't sit on the edge of the bed with your feet on the floor. The frames were made of logs and very sturdy. Perhaps that is why the beds were so tall. We've stayed here before and will again.

Great rooms, excellent views. It is on a hill so your view of town and the lake is unobstructed. Will stay here again our next time in town.

Unexpected gem. Great service, sizable rooms, good restaurant, convenient (no need to drive into town).

Very nicely decorated hotel...clean and comfortable....it will be nice to have breakfast included in price.

Always a wonderful experience. This is our third time staying there and each time is very nice. Clean, welcoming staff, nice rooms and beautiful deck to enjoy.

As soon as I entered the room, I loved the whole theme. Amazing furniture, amazing staff as well! Great rates, would definitely recommend this place to all.

Basic but clean accommodation. A little tired feeling.

Wonderful stay. We had a King mountain view room with a balcony and the view was breathtaking! Very friendly staff and great drinks in the bar.

Room was clean, furniture was recent, friendly staff, not as close as downtown or the lake as other places

The rooms are small, but the views of the lake and mountains are worth the the stay. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Definitely try and get a room with a balcony if you stay here.

Great experience. Every employee was very quick to help. Our room had a small dirty spot, so we told them, and by the time we returned to the hotel it was already cleaned up. Great happy hour here. Really enjoyed the board games, popcorn, complementary smores and tea/ coffee bar. This place is family friendly. I highly recommend it.

I couldn't see what some of the bad reviews were about. This place is really nice. The food was great and the staff was great as well.

We found the rooms quite nice and cozy, beautiful wooden beds and decor. Very satisfying breakfast. Hot tub and workout room were enjoyable too. Beautiful decks to enjoy the views. We also enjoyed the the bar for beer and wings.

We just had breakfast at the O-a Bistro and was real good... the Country Burrito!
