**FRAUD/SCAM ALERT**

For 3 years this company has been contacting me about a debt from the university I attended. The debt was not legitimate to start and I resolved the issue with my university. Almost a year later they contact me, insisting the university says they did not resolve it and that I still immediately owe thousands of dollars. While i'm on the phone being told it wasn't resolved and trying to explain that I did in fact resolve the issue, the agent I was speaking to made a condescending comment about how I "never planned to pay the debt" (which actually I did not because it was not legitimate). She then explains that lots of people are in my situation and I need to deal with this and pay. I was so shaken up about this that it didn't occur to me to actually call and verify this information with my university until weeks later. When I spoke to them they said the debt was cleared but that I should I ask for documentation about the debt to verify it's legitimacy (which they felt it was not). When I called to ask them for this documentation I was met with a bizarre amount of resistance from the woman I spoke with and she kept asking me WHY I wanted this documentation. Uh, , maybe because you're calling me asking for thousands of dollars? It took weeks for me to receive their letter and when I did it was vague. It lacked a lot of vital information, like when they received the debt and any interest it may have incurred. It also stated that any payments would show as "shiek in trust" which I thought was sketchy. I called a second time to ask for more detailed information and the woman screamed at me and told me to speak to my university. Despite a calm demeanour and tone, the woman yelled at me and spoke over me and would not allow me to speak, despite me telling her she made me uncomfortable and I would like to speak to a supervisor. Today I ran a credit check on myself and low and behold this debt did not show. If you work here, they're making you collect on debts that aren't legitimate. Shame on this place.

Good place to start out especially if you have little or no work experience.

Learned a lot about teamwork. The balance between work and personal life is good. Great company!

Absolutely awful social interaction. I have never spoke with such rude crass people before in my life. Completely unhelpful since I had to hang up due to the way two operators spoke with me when I was just looking for help. Makes me sick to my stomach.

We are continuously being trained and given feedback on how to improve. I have a chance to improve and learn skills that are beneficial to customers and me.

It s a great company to work for best part is that they provide a safe comfortable environment to work in. I am also proud to be a part of the team, I look forward to the camaraderie every day. The way how work is arranged gives a sense of accomplishment since we are able to solve problems quickly, with all the resources available to support us as agents.

A company that deserves care and resprect

Gatestone has given me the opportunity to start my career here in Canada and to grow and imporve within the company within a very short time period of 10 months. I've become a Team Lead with the help of the amazing supervisors I've worked under who had bring out the best in me. I can recommend this place as a great place to start a job and turn it into a career.
I have got great colleagues here and a really helpful and professional management team who are always there providing us everything we need in time.

Great company to build around professional and outstanding staff

Telemarketers or scammers. They called for my mother, who is a senior, three times in one day, they declared it was a business call but she has not owned a business or worked for that matter for years, clearly it is not a business call as she has not done business with this company and has no business activities. I think they prey on seniors and it shows up as a scam phone number when you do a reverse on the phone number the call actually came from.

Consistently high quality work, exceptionally accurate, constantly works to improve quality and aims for customer satisfaction.

FRAUD! They'll say you owe money to someone (hospital, university, company, etc.). THEY ARE TRYING TO SCAM YOU. Block their number and DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY.

A bunch of unprofessional time wasters. Do not even apply for this place. Did an interview and they said I could start in November. Come November and they call me and tell me that I wasn't accepted and I need to do another interview. After that interview they say they are prioritizing bilingual agents, but the job posting said thats not a requirement, which I don't understand. I don't know where they get their management from or how they run but its clearly very disorganized and lacking proper communications skills. You'll find better jobs elsewhere that has proper hiring practices and pays more than this place. Save your time and energy and don't bother with this place.

There are always things to learn, you will never get bored. The balance work- personal life is good.

It's a great place to work in, co-workers are nice and helpful. Managers are very strict when it comes to work, they will help with developing your skills in the corporate world.

Like everyone, I joined gatestone looking for just short term employment to be exposed to an office/call centre experience since I came from a retail background.

It's now two years later and I'm still here. The support and encouragement received from some of the leaders and managers is what makes the workplace fun and exciting. I've learnt alot in both my personal and professional life. Great place to learn communication and people skills.

Quick and smooth transaction. The person on the phone was very informative and patient. Excellent customer service.

Joke of a company. Awful social skills. Pompous staff. Basically fraudulent.

Work culture is at top, they take good care of thier employees

I only started a few months ago but it has been great so far. The team itself works with you when you need assistance and the campaign gives you opportunities to learn how to interact with people while learning new ways to assist customers in a professional and respectful manner.

I like that the team leads and managements are respectful and very helpful. We all work together as one and push each other to the best of our ability.

my experience at this company is that they know how to work as a team and also they are their whenever you need them. The company knows how cooperate with workers. They assist you in whatever way they can so you can be the best representative for them. So i recommend you to join us.

Call agent had both incorrect information and was extremely aggressive and rude. Zero professionalism behind this company. They have been provided with adequate information stating there is $0 owing and yet have continued to report incorrect information to the credit bureaus. Disputes have been filed with the bureaus and complaints sent to Canadian consumer protection services as a result.

It's pathetic that you're asking your employees to give "positive" reviews in the goal to have better reviews. Maybe you should take into consideration why exactly customers are leaving salty comments & reviews.

Terrible company to deal with when it comes to communication. They would call me and look down on me because I owe the money. This company can't just call me whenever they want to, they need to have restrictions and policy. Also, the employees were very mean to me and a hard-ass towards me. Someone needs to do something about this company or else the phone calls and their bad services will never end.

Also, my cousin used to work their and he totally hated the workplace as he did not wanted to be part of company that harasses their clients.

Questions are always answered in a timely manner and informative on how to solve the issues effectively.

I have been working with Gatestone & Co. Inc for 3 months, and i would say that the experience with them is wonderful. They provide extensive training as well as around the clock assistance. In this company they are so many room for you to grow as well. We provide the best customer service. With Gatestone you will feel as you are apart of family. They were actually pleasant to work with. Sure they call a lot but I never spoke to someone who was rude to me and worked with me to actually resolve debts (unlike some other agencies).

I was offered part time job but training was full time so I couldn t join.

Ever since I've started working at Gatestone, Belize I knew it was something positive and unique for me! The first thing I've noticed was that the campaign is professional and goes by authority. The agents are well put together and carry themselves well. The surroundings places a great impact on me and also they give you opportunities to be more than just an agent. Definitely a scam call center. They called for a "debt" I owed to Ottawa hospital. In my 20 years here, I have only been to the hospital three times and every time was covered by my insurance. I called billing department, they confirmed there was no such debt owing. Called my insurance company, nothing as well.

Having to worked in a fraud department for a MasterCard, the questions they asked over the phone sounds a lot like scammers trying to fish out more information from you by using the scare technique. Be careful, everyone.

Better business bureau claim was also submitted. And legal action for petraining to collect money on behalf of Ottawa Hospital is on its way.

I have had enough of your harassment. I have no credit issues with any company. I have reported you to Enbridge who you claim to represent. They have no record of your numbers.

What I love about Gatestone is the respect and value on what matters as a human. The company knows the importance of business but doesn t neglect the fact that employees are human. They as a company and the bosses always encourage work-life balance. Which of course, boost your productivity. The company also has diverse employees. There s always an opportunity to grow when you show your potentials too.

Working with Gatestone as a partner for their total rewards offering for their employees has been great! Good source of how they educate the public where you can find out news about what is currently happening around the globe, news that some mainstream media fails to report and promote.

Very bad company, unfriendly staff who are not nice to their clients. Too many harassment calls. Everyday they call u about missed payments, I apologize about it and make up for it. Even though I paid all my balance and made an agreement with them about payments in which they accepted, they still call me about missed payments and how i owe them money. These gaystone jerks only cares about money and only cares about themselves. This kind of service they do is extremely bad, I hate this company so much and even the community does not like it either. I hope the authorities investigates and shuts this company down for good.

EDIT: All these reviews that I see from employees indicating that there workplace is good, like nobody cares. I would not want to be part of an organization that harasses and mistreats others and using there credit or record to get what they want. Honestly, I don't know how some people, especially other companies, can stand this company.

I would give zero stars if possible, their receptionist is the most rude person ever, I just went to return their equipment and they didn't even care to take it back. I am so glad I never started working from them. Never get hired and have anything to do with this company.

Went there for an interview, worst interviewer I had met in my life, a guy with very bad attitude. I don't understand how he work in customer service with these kind of behaviour. I wasted 2 hrs there luckily I got an other opportunity. Please avoid this place at any cost.

Let me share this with you all so that you are aware. My recent experience with this company was an interview I went to give for a technical support position. The place looked like a zoo. Office looks nothing like its shown in the website. My interview was at 10:30am , I went in at 1:00pm because they overbooked the interviews. Its been a while since I gave a group interview which also had the worst interviewer possible. His name was Louis and he is the Collection Manager. All I know about the position is that Louis is very fond of his collection manager position at the company since he worked hard to get there and it changed him as a person collecting money from people. Doesn't matter what experiences you share with him he has a similar to counter yours (like its a competition). Then Cory their recruiter calls me and says they will pay me a salary which is a little better then living of EI. Benefits start after a year so if you are sick ; forget it. BBB please shut them down cause they are just horrible as an organization. Only if you are desperate would you work for them and this is me after my first interview not even working for them.

Customer service is bad, and they don't deliver what's promised. A lot of clients have been complaining with the service they give.

Love working with Gatestone as they display the values I am looking for in a company, such as honesty, integrity and professionalism. Employees are also hard-working.

Went online and put in my account information to pay my dads debt (deceased) and almost a month later I got a letter saying my check bounced? Which doesn't make any sense, especially when I have a confirmation number saying my payment went through sucessfully. On top of that, when you call to try to find out why the heck they can't get their stuff together, nobody answers.

Sad sad place. I called to find out about my so called account that is on my credit report so I can deal with it. But when I called the place they say they don't have anything on me and tells me to call the company that I had the bill with what kind of credit company says that after this review they responded telling me to call but anyway I called them to remove them from my credit report and they tell me to leave them my number and the manager will call me this was over a week ago Nicole I believe her name was ha what lies
