Gary's Pool and Patio Reviews

We used Gary s for our complete pool install. We shopped several other companies such as Aqua and the deciding factor for us was Felix. His knowledge, professional and overall passion to do what was best for the customer and not what was best for his sales numbers. The sales guy from Aqua pretty much came out to our yard, which was a very large space, and said Yeap, we can put a pool in here. He provided zero solutions or recommendations as where Felix from Gary s came out with templates of the pool of choice and positioned it in several areas of the yard. This provided us the visual to start building ideas and managing expectations both parties could talk to.

Once the day came for install I knew from that point forward we where in great hands. Mike leads the Gary employees who handle all the install work. Mike was here everyday and started everyday with a phone call communicating their arrival time, how many workers where coming and what the work to be performed was.

To sum it all up... Felix and Mike! They make this experience. Felix has become someone who I would always support and if he ever needed any recommendations from me for any purpose in life he would get 5 Stars from our family!! Hard to find honest, genuine and folks who just want to do the right thing for long term business relationships anymore!!

Great Job Gary Pools and evening better Job Felix. Gary Pools... dont let Felix go unnoticed. He s the backbone of your company!!

One additional note. We went with the Viking line. We have had zero issues with the pool and/or equipment.

When we started shopping pool companies, we had several with cheap prices but decided to go with Gary's Pool and Patio for our fiberglass pool. We wanted to go with a company that had a good reputation and one that we trusted. I'm glad I stopped in the show room, our sales rep Anthony made us feel at ease and didn't pressure us into anything. He even made suggestions that saved us money and suggested pool designs that would benefit my family. He even stopped by and/or called a few times during construction to see how thing were progressing. The construction crew was courteous and even made changes that I had requested on the fly, with paperwork of course. Mike the project manager kept me up to date and informed me if they fell behind and why they fell behind. These guys take care of their customers before, during and after the construction. I wouldn't go anywhere else if you're in the market for a fiberglass pool.

We came across Trish s videos onYoutube. We found them to be informative and we really wanted to purchase a fiberglass pool from her. After several attempts to reach out via phone and texts.. we finally gave up. She was minimally responsive and obviously too busy to take on new customers. If she was too busy then why not refer us to someone else to work with at her company?
We went with another company who actually wanted our business. We ve signed our pool contract with them and are so happy with their communication and responsiveness. So disappointed because we really wanted to work with Gary Pools.

We love our Cancun Deluxe pool installed by Gary s Pool and Patio. Installation was fast with high quality.

We would NOT recommend Gary's Pools and Spas!
We were not fully educated on the process prior to construction beginning, we were NOT told we would need an irrigation plan, we were not told we would basically need to replace all of our grass, nothing! As first time pool buyers, we feel like should have been educated more by the professionals that do this day in and day out. We were told to only flag the sprinklers in our yard that are located where the pool would be going. $1,700 later (and counting), we are having to pay an irrigation company to install a new sprinkler valve because we had a sprinkler zone not working anymore (which it was working fine before!) and the valve box could not be located to test and repair it. There was also a sprinkler pipe left uncapped that my husband pointed out prior to concrete being poured that was "overlooked". Which caused another zone to not work and obviously water bubbling up to the ground surface. So the irrigation guy had to dig to find the pipe so it could be capped, and the result of that is one of our bubbler sprinklers will not work now. I just know our sprinkler/irrigation issues are not over!
There were many times we had no communication and all of a sudden we'd see people in our backyard. Very inconsistant and since we have dogs, it would have been been nice to know when they were coming to work.
They claim they used clear glue on the pipe at the pump when it seperated and started spraying water everywhere. They came and used blue glue to fix it. We don't think there was ever any glue on it at all. Our grounding line (to prevent electricution in the event of a lightening strike) was left exposed and unattached to anything for weeks. The concrete pad for the pump was not positioned as we discussed. Instead of against the house, it's perpendicular to the house, which makes it awkward to get behind it (due to the fence) to get to the jet and lights control box, as well as the storage box we are using for all the supplies and chemicals. We have pieces of the cement edge of the pool cracking off and I'm not even sure if they would come to fix it at this point. And to top it all off, our pool is uneven! We were told it was an optical illusion because of the slope of our yard and fence. As you can clearly see in the photos by looking at the water line, it's actually crooked! Our "pool school" was pitiful. We had our pool installed and useable for well over a month (if not 2 months) before we finally received any sort of training on testing the water, what chemicals to use at what point and basic education on the equipment. We were never told how to drain the pool if ever needed. Which after a large amount of rain, (as you can see in the photos) we needed to figure out on our own how to do it. I brought my complaints to the Regional Manager, as well as the Project Manager and nothing was done. Only an apology by the Reg. Manager who said he would talk to the General Manager, which I don't think ever happened.
The guys were nice enough in the beginning when we were naive and didn't know any better. I feel like we were taken advantage of and now we are having to pay the price.

Gary s Pools install my fiberglass pool and from day 1 it has been such a positive experience. Our sales rep Mr Freddie kept us up to date on the entire process and was readily available at all times when we had questions. This company did it right! Thanks Gary s Pool and Patios

Felix was a great sales person. He was honest and gave me very thing I requested. The service and timing of everything was just as he said. Communication was wonderful through out the project. I would use him again if we need to get another pool!!!!!! I can t say enough about the service.

Our salesman, Felix Galvan, was (and continues to be) an example of what customer service means. He truly listened to what we wanted, was beyond patient with our questions, and at no point tried to "over sell" us. It's been a year since our pool was installed and he still patiently answers all of our questions.
The installation team was equally professional. They were on-site when they said they would be, cleaned up daily, and kept us informed every step of the way. We watched a neighbor install a similar pool with a different company and were shocked at all the short cuts being taken. We are grateful that ary Pools is committed to doing things right. They have been completely responsive to making sure we are totally satisfied with every aspect of our pool, no matter how many times we have asked them to come out.
This was our first pool and we would highly recommend Gary Pools, especially Felix.
