I enjoyed my stay for 4 nights on the 6th floor zamalek tower, a great view on the hotel's garden and the Nile. On a king size bed, with an appropriate air conditionning system, a very clean and maintained bathroom, really nothing to say, the service is great.

As for the breakfast buffet it is very diversified u can find whatever you are looking for: pastires freshly baked, homemade jams, honey, sausages, soups, omlette and waffle stations, oatmeals, cereals, fruit salad, milk, yoghurt.... so appealing!

The receptionnist are always smiling, a small misunderstanding happned the last day (they forgot to hand me a package that was left by a friend of mine) so when i wrote them they sent it by mail to the mentionned adress.

It is truly a palace and deserves its 5 stars!

Security is overrated

Security is overrated

You are disturbed by everything entering the hotel for the reason for being too safe, but in general the hotel is good

I don't normally write reviews but I travelled with 2 other Marriott regulars (80+ hotel nights per year for each of us.) This was a subpar property with slow and biased service. I will not stay here and break *Marriott* loyalty to stay at the Four Seasons next time I'm in Cairo.

We also noticed biased service at the Ritz Carlton in Cairo too. I'm not sure what background is but I will not stay at another Marriott property in Egypt.

Worn out furniture, unlike in the photos. Bad food in the hotel caused me stomachache. Also its 10 degree outside and no hot water in bathroom.. Bad hotel in every way. I reserved executive suite for three days, regret it.

Luxury in the center of Cairo. I went in May 2017 and the pool was closed for remodeling work. Still, it's worth it. Huge and pristine rooms, variety of restaurants to choose type of food and exquisite service. Absolutely reconquerable

Yet another reivew form Egypt. Marriott Hotel is one of a Uniqe Hotel with a Palace from mid 19century in the middle, and 2 modern towers on the sides. Unlike many other 5 star Cairo Hotels, Marriott is a true 5 stars. almost all rooms as Nile view, and a very nice garden area for day time meet ups as well as many options for retaurants & shops within. Also the Omar Khayyam Casino is a good one to enjoy (do not forget what you expect in terms of casino that you are Egypt, not Monte Carlo). and make sure you walk around the hotel to discover its history; as well as the Nile. Have fun!
