This beautiful hotel with its old world charm and fabulous views is a gem. The staff in particular are a credit to this hotel, especially the girls in the cafe . Their friendly efficient manner and even though we had a group of 15 hungry people all wanting lunch at the one time and the cafe busy nothing was too much trouble. They still had time to make each person feel special and all our group commented and complimented on the great service. I can't recommended this hotel enough and look forward to my next visit

Very nice and helpful staff on Reception. Very clean rooms with great room service. Never ever visit the Bar. Very slow service and very unprofessional staff which even don't have a clue what exactly the Customers ordered. The Manager there( His name is Woicheck) was very rude and try to convince Us that all in fact is our mistake after 30 min waiting time to take our order instead to apologize and show some respect to People which in fact paid his wages. No any idea why this lovely Place hire a this kind of unpleasant Person. I gave a 2 stars only because Staff on Reception was extremely polite and for Our staying this 3 nights the Breakfast was really good. We probably Never back again....

Stayed here the end of july with our two children and it was a gorgeous hotel, our room was very clean and tidy, the requests we made for our disabled son upon booking was met which made our stay alot easier, the only fault i had was there was a long waiting time for dinner in the restaurant in the evenings which is not good with two young children and i really think the food is fab but very over priced, but we were very happy with our stay and all the staff were so nice and helpful

Great hotel on the sea in the Salthill area 5 minutes by car from the center of Galway. Free internal parking. Numerous services, from the pub to the tea room, to the sophisticated restaurant. Good breakfast in the panoramic room (if close to the windows ...). Good room, but with small bathroom and practically no wardrobe (50 cm? For 3 people?). The rooms overlooking the bay certainly have a great view.

Old enough to embody old school elegance, but up to date in content and delivery. I was there for the annual Galway Volunteer Fair, so utilized the large meeting room. The bar is entirely charming. Location on the Prom, and facing Galway Bay is a plus. Don't miss the memorial garden nestled beside this property.

Staff were all lovely, the food in the bar wasn't great, we we're there with a baby and there was no availability in the restaurant untill after 8pm, because we had already paid in full we were told we couldn't get room service (i think this was due to covid though) . The breakfast average. The TV in the room didn't work and the pillows on the bed were ridiculously thin. No heating in the changing rooms after swimming and no cubicles to get changed. Very overpriced for what you get.

Enjoyed a family break between Christmas and New Year. Enjoyable and friendly staff, indoor pub was nice but could do with a little more light. Family room was pleasant and overlooked gardens. Food was nice and served promptly.

This is an excellent hotel in Galway with a delicious breakfast. The beds are comfortable. We had a cot in our room which was not comfortable for an adult. Perhaps it would work for a small child. The bathroom was okay but not what you'd expect for the price. The elevators are small but the helpful service from the hotel staff was appreciated with baggage. There is a lovely couch lounge looking towards the bay with open windows. The restaurant is convenient with great food.

Room was nice, location is good but breakfast buffet was a bit too much like a holiday camp for a 4 star hotel and the staff were all too busy cleaning tables to serve tea or coffee, we had to wait 15 minutes for our coffee after asking 3 times . This is not the kind of service you expect for the price you pay.

I really enjoyed my stay here with the girls. The highlight for us was the leisure facilities. Although small, it was very personable. I convinced my friends to try the aqua aerobics on Monday and we loved it. We even did it again on Tuesday evening with a different and equally enthusiastic teacher.
The staff were friendly and our rooms were lovely and clean.
I would recommend this hotel.
