Look, a lot of the Accedemia was just fine but the statue of David at sixteen feet tall really was incredible to see with your own eyes.

Accademia is to sculpture what Uffizi is to art, must see in Florence. Michelangelo's David and so many more. Admission to both Uffizi and Accademia is free on a Sunday, be prepared to queue for a loooong time.
Aim for David!
Besides that, Michelangelo's unfinished sculptures and pre-Renaissance religious paintings were so small and plentiful that I enjoyed them very much. In particular, there were many sculpture exhibits.
A Japanese audio guide is available for 6. A passport is required when renting. If it doesn't exist, you can prove your identity.
The guide is also solid, so if you look at everything carefully, you need at least 2 hours.
We also recommend that you purchase your ticket in advance. I went there before 10:00 in the off-season, but I was in a line and waited about 10 minutes. After leaving the museum, in the afternoon, Desita did not make any progress in a long line.
Michelangelo's David was absolutely breathtaking!!!
If you like art and sculptures a lot, this museum is one of the most outstanding that we must visit in florence. It is small compared to others; but we find the masterpiece David di Michelangelo
A spectacular place where you emerge in the history of sculpture. Be perplexed by David's splendor.
David, the perfect man! A gallery to visit absolutely
The clear highlight is Michelangelo's David. Wonderful work! Minimal details represented, including the veins of the arms and hands. Many art students around, capturing the details.
Several other works of art, other magnificent sculptures. And a music museum! It is possible to travel through the history of music at this location!
Admission 12.00, skip the line in winter.
The gallery is small, can be visited in a short time.
Very interesting tour for 30eur.wonderdul exhibition, especially statue of David.
The Museum itself doesn t have much, a part from the Statue of David and a couple other rooms with art from the Middle Ages. Main focus here is for the David statue though!
The art is wonderful. The Statue of David is, obviously, the main attraction. If you can afford the Firenze Pass, utilize it as you can skip the long line.
