Service was alright. Food is quite bland for how expensive it is. Space is beautiful. Probably a good place to hang out and have a drink with someone, but don't get your hopes up about the food.

Pricey, but pretty food. Food tasted great, but there is very little in customer service in the dining area. We waited a good while to catch someone just to ask for the wi-fi password. She had to ask a manager who came out to tell us. By that time we had finished eating and were ready to.leave.

This place surprised me with how unique and fun it was. From the French press coffee with chocolate covered beans to the amazing French toast, to the great views and cool design, galaxy cafe is not only good, but fun. Staff was very nice and full of smiles. Highly recommends to try, you will want to come back!

Place is very nice on the outside, it was a bit confusing once inside! You cant see the dining area at all when you first walk in. Theirs a bunch if ropes going up to the register which is just weird and awkward. The signs say pick up which make you feel like your in the wrong entrance or something. You have to order your food first before you are given your glass and silverware which is odd, theirs no menu like in a fast food restaurant instead their is a paper menu which you have to quickly glance at as to not hold up the line behind you. The glasses sit out in the open and are dusty. The place is just ODD!!! However the food is very good! The sandwich was very yummy and the grilled edamame was delicious. I just feel they need to figure out a different way to seat people and maybe hire one waiter. Or put up the menu on the background so we can start looking at it while going up to the line.

Interesting place. Excellent food (salads). Relaxing decor. First time eating here. I had the Thai Steak Salad which was excellent. My friend had the Ahi Tuna salad which he commented several times about how much it was enjoyed. The staff was pleasant and other menu items looked interesting. I would return to try out some other dishes.

I love this place! Finally some affordable quality food choices in the Lake Travis area! Clean, simple, delicious. I love the Galaxy Buddha Bowl! And my husband loves the flavorful Skirt Steak. We live 4 minutes away... Going to be our new 'go to' place!

Always consistently tasty, fresh, and healthy food. This new location is an ideal neighborhood hangout. Good food and speedy service. Outdoor spaces excellent for parents with children. We miss the Galaxy at The Triangle but embrace this new location with its light bright airy new look.

I ordered a salad with no meat and it was very fresh and good. I wanted a raw vegan salad and this was the closest thing to it. The service from August and the gentleman who brought my food out was excellent. The salad was pretty small and costed me $11.90.

Great turkey burger!!! Great chicken sandwich!!! Great ahi tuna salad!!! Plus, the pomegranate green tea is amazing! Sweet potato fries were on point as were the regular ones. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Nice atmosphere with awesome outdoor space for kids. Loved it!!!!

Yes! Awesome restaurant in Steiner Ranch FTW! Quaint and comfortable yet a touch of modern and diner. Perfect spot for breakfast or a lunch meeting. Ideal for families with a new playground outside. I'm curious if they're planning live music (good idea Galaxy!!). Food is great and soft drinks are the *better* Maine Root colas instead of that corn syrup cra-..er... Stuff. Big welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Staff was great, very attentive & friendly. The manager check on us multiple times. The food was tasteful and large, filling, portions. I loved the decorative touch of the live flowers on the tables and the plants all around. We'll be back for sure.

Finally a decent restaurant in the Steiner Ranch neighborhood! Got take out today and it was a great experience. Friendly employees who greeted me upon arrival, food was ready to go when I arrived (about 15 minutes after I ordered via phone), and they double checked my order before I left to ensure it was accurate. It was still warm and delicious when I got back home. Can't wait to try other things from the menu. It all looks great!

I had a turkey sandwich for lunch. It was served on a nice soft bun. I think they forget the sauce mentioned on the menu so it was a little dry. Killer sweet potato fries. I'd put this in the $$ category. Still I'll go back and try other menu items. I've heard the Budda bowls are good.

Amazing food, friendly staff and fast service! Prices are good and the ambiance is perfect for family meals, studying/working while eating or just to hang out with friends. Very nice! I recommend it!

The food here is wonderful and the atmosphere is relaxed. The cashier I had on Friday 8/23 around 7pm was amazing and super helpful! I unfortunately did not get her name but she made the experience. I did not give the full 5 stars because their Togo ordering needs some work, I had trouble placing my order online so I called and my call was not answered, I ended up having to come into the store to place my Togo order and would have been a lot more up set if it was not for the lovely cashier.

Meh. Odd layout that is a bit disorienting and to make it worse, despite looking confused (along with other patrons) about where to go or how it works - I even asked how do I do this and was kinda left to figure it out. Next, the menu isn t broad or deep. The atmosphere is very after thought. Food quality is fine but not great. Service is fine - or slightly below average. Feels like this owner/management team is completely disengaged.

Incredibly overpriced, staff seems untrained or poorly trained. By far the worst Galaxy Cafe Location. I was in the neighborhood and decided to pop in for lunch. The food here is awful especially for the price they're charging you. Really poor customer service and overall horrible experience.

I've pondered over this review for some time as I'm always willing to support local neighborhood business...but! This Cafe start out as average and continues to be average. Unfortunately I think you've lost me as a customer.

Finally! Something worthwhile in Steiner! I've gone twice this week since they've opened. Had a great experience both times. Galaxy Buddha Bowl is a must try! Love that they have a play area for the kiddos too!

Visited 12/2019, this one of about 4 Galaxy Cafes in the Austin area. The menu is original and a bit unique, but you'll also find the traditional burgers and chicken sandwiches available, as well as healthy entre selections. As a small chain, they can pay more attention to customer service and food quality. The Steiner location has more of a giant mega-corp feel to it, rather than the quirky small town cafe. This is OK, but not what you might expect. The front lobby has a crisp and clean appearance with multiple lines delineated approaching the ordering counter. The staff is friendly and helpful. But somehow you feel like a bit of a lemming here, including as you head back to the dining area, which is equally sterile and stark. A striking vaulted ceiling is met with plain floor to ceiling walls, with limited visual architectural details to draw you in and make you feel warm and cozy. Further back there is a wall of windows opening to an outside dining area which is more rewarding. Great food, yes. Great service, yes. But you're not going to impress your date or out of town visitors with the ambience.
