The library is great! It has a huge selection of books, spread out through multiple levels and sections. The employees are very helpful and quick to ask if you need any help. Also, they do not charge late fees, so you don't have to be too worried about that.

Lovely library. Very clean, with helpful and supportive staff. There was even a station at the entrance with hand sanitizer and face masks. Bartholomew County Public Library has always made me feel safe and comfortable.

Really fun to browse through books and neat and clean. It also has a great selection of books, the best library I have tried yet!

Love going to the library. Everyone is so helpful and if they don't have it they will get it for you.

The Hope library is close to my residence. Stephanie Shoaf is a great gal who loves her job there. She and her Mom and daughter helped me Saturday look for a book on former first lady Barbara Bush. Can the library tell me if there is a book on loan to show the George and Barbara 9 Bush family .

I got my library card! Just moved here from Florida and I am excited to finally have a library to go to again.

Great library and staff, but wish some, not all, of the homeless people there would be more respectful and act thier own damn ages. Like you, girl in the grey beany hat with black glasses. You're seriously going to tell at someone because they can't give you 5 dollars, and then get upset with them when they get snippy back? Grow the hell up. Get a job.

Always clean and all the staff is always nice and have smiles on every day . nice a quiet place on 3rd floor to relax do your homework or hide out out if you need to.

Decent selection of books. Very helpful reference librarians. Great free programs. Limited renewal policy. Restrooms are less than desirable.

The library is very well organized and has a large selection of books and DVDs. There are tables and chairs on every level so it s a great place to read or do homework at. There is also a studio on the bottom level with recording equipment, a green screen, and computers with recording/editing software.

I always get help from the staff, they always have events to entertain the children

Great librarians that are always willing to help. Very nice looking atmosphere. Can't beat free movies and books. LOVE IT!

If you have young children .. a perfect place to spend a couple of hours. Clean, well endowed and very nice.

Before ebooks I loved this place. Don't go as often as I used to but still the place to go when you don't want to buy the book.

It's such a great library and the staff really care about what they are doing.

They have a nice teen area for teenagers including games and other things. They also have a lot of movies you can check out and a ton of books as well as an outdoor area. Be careful about losing books, they don t fine you at first but if you completely lose a book and don t pay the initial fee, it will increase and be sent to a debt collector. In that case, even if you return what you lost you still have to pay a high price.

Exceptionally detailed architecture. I.M. Pei exposed concrete waffle structure unifies the space. Filled with natural light and unique textures it's truly a special experience

Very nice, well kept, clean, and organized library. Lots of books and free use computers. Friendly and helpful staff can help you find what you seek. Cool large piece of artwork on the grounds. Nice place to find a real book versus an online book, for those who prefer the old fashion way of reading, ha. Plenty of relaxing and comfy private seating along with nice tables for multi book researching. Located downtown and walking distance to many other businesses.

We have the best library! My friends and I did the Bob Ross painting class. It was great! We had a really good time and painting turned out great!

Helpful staff and well kept. Always seems to have some kind of event either happening or soon to happen.

Staff is very friendly and willing to help you I needed vision impaired computer and they help me set it up and explained it to me very very great staff there atr tons of books and reading material and audio material you must check it out especially if you have kids they have a whole bottom levels just for kids and crafts and things like that programs they put on

This library is the place to come, it is always clean, quiet and it has large windows where you can sit to read while looking out at the beautiful scenery, and the staff is very helpful and oh so friendly. I love coming to this library to just sit and read a magazine or to find a good book to read.

Great collection of books spread over floor 1 & 2. Basement has old tapes, a digital section and some rooms for conferences / playing cards. Floor 2 has an indoor green space too. Friendly staff and very easy to get a membership.
