We used Gable to produce some signage for the lobby of our new office. I'll start by noting the good - Jason, our sales representative was awesome. Really nice, informative, responsive to questions. Also, our signage came looking the way we expected. The bad - Laura, our project manager, was awful. In the beginning she was relatively polite and responsive, but by the time we got to our installation date she was just terrible. Most recently, she'd downright ignore my emails regarding our order. I'd have to email her two and three times just to receive a one sentence response. This morning I emailed her twice requesting a timeframe for installation. First time she didn't bother responding, second time she responded but didn't answer my question. A guy literally just showed up with supplies and no notice. We had an event happening in our office at that time.
Previously, she'd gotten rude with me on the phone over a minor adjustment we needed to make with our order. I've worked in customer service, and I wouldn't dream of being so combative someone who's paying me to provide them a service. I'm sure people adjust their orders all the time but she acted as though I had personally inconvenienced her.
Other things to note--we were quoted for aluminum signage but received acrylic because our special ordered pieces supposedly arrived cracked. Who knows whether they were actually cracked as we never received photos (that I requested). They assured us that the acrylic signage was actually more expensive than the aluminum and they were eating the cost of this reproduction, but again, who knows.
In my opinion, save yourself the hassle and go with a company that knows how to treat it's customers. You're spending too much money to have someone be rude and combative with you. I will not be using Gable Signs again.
