I love Future Home! Bob McDugald is a phenomenal Broker! He is successful, knowledgeable, caring, and a hard worker. He works hard to build an amazing team of agents to help with all your real estate needs.

This review is only about a specific agent at Future Home Realty. Her name is Jackie Collins.

My experience with Jackie Collins was shockingly poor. I contacted Jackie on a Friday regarding a grouping of homes we wanted to view in one geographic area. I inquired if she had any time over the weekend, understanding that it was short notice. She said she could make Saturday work. I explained to her that this grouping of homes was an hour from our current residence, and we would wait if it meant we could view all the homes in one day. She assured us that she had secured showings for all the homes on our list.

Based on her word, we loaded our 10 month old in our vehicle and prepared for a long day. The first few showings went well, but upon pulling up to one of the more promising homes, we were greeted by a locked gate and accompanied by an unprepared agent. After trying to contact the listing agent for half an hour, Jackie finally determined that we couldn't view the home. Obviously, this was very frustrating, but we decided to continue with Jackie. We understand that everyone makes mistakes. Throughout the day my wife and I explained to Jackie the types of homes we were looking for and the areas we were looking at. She assured us multiple times that she was the agent for us, and even expressed how excited she was to show the homes we were interested in. Apparently, we shared similar taste in homes.

The following Monday I received an email from Jackie letting us know that she wanted us to look at as many homes as we could, even mentioning the areas by name, and that she was excited to show us our new home. My wife and I spent hours compiling a list of homes, and emailed them to Jackie, Thursday. After a 18 hours with no response, I called and text messaged her (apparently her preferred form of contact), and finally received a text back letting us know she was ready to go. We scheduled our showings for Sunday, and she even inquired about doing more showings during the week. I canceled several plans I made Monday to accommodate her schedule.

At 10:21 pm on Friday night, I received an email from Jackie letting us know that she would no longer work with us and apologized for leading us along. I work a job that requires I work 50% of my weekends, so weekends are especially precious to me. I explained this to her, and requested she at least would work with us through the weekend because she left us with no options. I thought this would be the professional thing to do, but Jackie did not share my thoughts. She said she had other clients and that was that.

This was a shocking experience for us, and would hope no one else has to work with an agent like Jackie Collins. I would strongly advise you opt for a different agent when buying or selling a home.

Fabulous brokerage, excellent ongoing training, BROKERS WHO ANSWER THEIR PHONE. Tools and training to help you succeed all at a fraction of the cost of those other "name brand brokerages. Founder Bob McDugald's philosophy is quite simple; figure out your "why", come from a place of service, do the right thing, data base, follow up, open houses. He is correct it is not rocket science. Best decision I ever made. Gave myself a 25% increase in earnings too!

One of the best real estate brokerage's in Florida. Would highly recommend to any agents looking for an independent model to hold your license. Great support and training. Earn more keep more.

This company has been difficult to work with from the beginning. On May 25th I applied to a rental house. I sent the realtor my entire credit report, offer letter, rental reference and current pay stubs. I do not have perfect credit but I advised him of this up front. Once my card was charged for the application I did not hear back from the realtor for almost a week. I even called the tenant check company and they advised me they gave it back to the realtor 2 days ago.

At first he was so responsive and as soon as he got my money it was as if he vanished. I was worried I was scammed but the tenant check advised me that I was not. Now prior to the application the realtor had all my info as I stated. I had to text and email over and over again to get a response. Over a week later he advised me that my application was not approved.

Now this was a huge shocker to me as I have never been denied in my life. I rent from a huge leasing company and have been with them for years. My leasing company was even shocked. I have perfect rental history, the combined income is over $100,000 for a rental of $1650 and both credit scores are above 620. No felonies and stable work history for 7+ years. Once I was denied I asked the realtor for an explanation several times with once again no response. I have rented houses and apartments for the past 10 years and this has hands down been the worst experience I have every had.

I am looking at this as a blessing in disguise as if I were approved It probably would have been an awful experience. In speaking with a few friends of mine who are realtors int the area I did mention the bad experience and the name of the realtor. They also mentioned that they have heard similar stories with him and the company. I normally do not write reviews and I waited a few days to really digest the issue however I feel that this experience deserved to be heard.

Lead by example. I'll tell you that Bob McDugald does exactly that. His honesty and integrity set an industry standard. He has over 1500 agents, yet he still has time to answer my calls personally. His admin staff is amazing. They are kind and supportive as well as knowledgeable of the Real Estate industry. I couldn't be happier to hang my shingle at FHR!

Scott Cushman is phenomenal. Highly recommend. One of the best individuals I have ever worked with. Future is great.

My husband and I offered the agreed on price for a condo in Dunedin. Lea talked her client into changing the contract by 9,999 more and an unrealistic closing date. We have 3 pre-approval letters. She just didn't want to share the commission. When I called the broker to discuss the situation,he hung up on me. I will never deal with Future Realty again.

Of course all real estate experience is with the agent and not necessarily the company. All companies have awesome and not so awesome agents. It is good to interview your agent to be sure that they have your interest as top priority. Our broker makes every effort to have agents with highest integrity.
I was with Keller Williams from 2006-2016. Moving to Future Home Realty was the best Career move for my customers and for me. I can provide better services for my clients. I can provide as much marketing as I did before. I love the wholesome culture here. Great broker, great staff.

SCAM ARTIST! Beware of Gissel Fonseca, a real estate agent for this company!!! She is rude and dishonest! Think twice before doing business with her! SCAM ARTIST!!!

I work for a very large investment company. We had the pleasure of closing a deal with Ginger. She was polite, professional and on time. We look forward to doing business with them in the future.

Boycott Future Home Realty! Their Agents are a reflection of their standards and ethics. Travis and Joyce Jackson are Realtors in Riverview. They both drive in excess of the speed limit by 30 - 40 mph in the residential communities they are selling/buying homes and even Live. They have no disregard for life or the fact that in the event of an accident with bodily injury or death they would be facing vehicular manslaughter. When brought to their attention they laugh. When brought to the attention of Future Home Realty they could care less, not seeing that these two individuals represent their business. If an accident happens on the way to/from a sale then Future Home Realty could also be liable. Boycott ALL of them.

Julie Schlechty was amazing! Where to begin, she listed my house and we had a buyer in less than 48 hours. Julie always was available to take my calls and answer my questions which was huge because I knew nothing about what was involved with the sale of a house. She always took time to explain each part of the sale process to me and what is most important is she ALWAYS had my best interest in mind when working with the buyers agents. You will never find a better realtor than Julie and I can't wait to work with her again. I have to say the most important thing to any seller / buyer is communication and there was never a time I couldn't reach Julie about anything. I wish I could rate her 10 stars because that's the kind of realtor you get when you work with Julie.

This is the worse rental company I ve ever tried to work with. I applied for a property in March & paid the $75 application fee. I had to email the realtor for follow up & ultimately they rented the unit out to someone else (which is fine) but never bothered to follow up with me to let me know (not fine). I waited for so long that I ended up having to extend my current lease. Sucks to find out via Trulia 22 days later when you are being told that the homeowners are taking a long time to make up their minds.

By far the best brokerage. Very impressed. The broker is ethical, professional, knowledgeable and extremely supportive. The ladies in the office keep us compliant and work tirelessly. Jim is an extremely hard worker and available the moment you need assistance

My wife and I are the unfortunate buyers of a house that Ricardo Lara Jr, Randall Locicero and Vintage Design and Construction's Patrick Green flipped. Most of their work was unpermitted, seemed to be intentionally covered up and some of their "improvements" turned out to be downright dangerous. One example was the (16) windows they installed, which were not up to code and which were installed without a permit. Another example is when my wife and I permitted a bathroom renovation, we found upon tearing down the drywall that the roof in that area of the house was not adequately supported by the walls, loose 2x4's were just enclosed in the wall (unattached to anything), wire splices were just wrapped in tape and there was no trap on the drain pipe going directly to the sewer. All of that was just covered up by newly hung drywall and painted over. Ricardo's company FHD Holdings owned the house, Ricardo was the realtor through Future Home Realty and the work was done by Locicero and Green. Remediation is reaching into the 10s of thousands so far.

WARNING! Avoid these realtors (especially Peter and Kim) at all costs! They are scam artists and dishonest! They agreed to BINSR repairs and then hired false companies to provide receipts for work never completed. They didn t disclose their realtor ownership status on a house they owned as a corporation. They paid companies to say nothing was wrong when we had proof there were issues, and are refusing to pay the people they hired along the way (they re coming to us to pay them now).

We are retired military and this is the 5th home we have purchased. I have NEVER encountered such a slimy and dishonest company who caused so many problems and lied so much!!!!

If there were negative stars, it still wouldn t be enough!!!

One of these real estate agents literally lied about me having an eviction on my record, told us we didnt make enough money when we literally make 4x the amount for the home.
Learn to be genuine, truthful and candid with your clients.

I received a call from agent Lori Anne and it was very unpleasant. I am a long time client of another agent who had referred me to Lori Anne. If it weren't for Kathy Presley who is an exceptional agent, I not be doing business any further with Future Home Realty.

Stay away from this group. I just filed a complaint with the State of Florida DBPR regarding this company and one of it's agents. Unethical is an understatement. Let's hope the state takes the necessary actions to prevent this type of thing from happening in the future.

Interesting to see other reviews comment on ethics and this company not wanting to share fees. Bruce Donovan set some specific rules for consideration on a property sale, then broke his own rules. We followed the rules he set and trusted he would keep is word. Without regard for our time he reached out to tell us we could not proceed well before the deadline he set in his "rules". He did not even apologize for the time we spent and set aside for the purchase of this property. It was then very clear that he would rather keep all of the fees instead of practicing good ethics or sticking to any kind of moral code. Looking through the reviews I see other names called out so this company seems to have a widespread problem on its hands.

STAY AWAY FROM FUTURE HOME REALTY!

These people are thieves. Beware! If you Take your home off the market they will charge you, I had to pay $5,398.20 because I wanted to take my house off the market and decided to stay after weeks of my home not selling. I ve gotten so many calls from other companies and realtors who were astounded at how much we were charged. Please do not use this company, save your money and use a reputable company. They took advantage of my mom and myself and I don t want it to happen to anyone else.

Dishonest shady realtors! Very disapointed paid more money for a house that had a leaking roof problem in one of the bedrooms. This was never disclosed at all. Would not recomend. I wish I would have read the reviews online before going with this company. Lesson learned.

Avoid this company specifically Tatiana Steven's she is the most unethical and slimy person I have ever met in sales and that is coming from a former Army recruiter, she lies to her sellers and misrepresents buyers. She shares what people bid with others which is a violation of Real estate practices. She costs her clients money buy failing to get them the most money or presenting deals to her clients because based on her own phone message she only answers her phone between 9 am and 3 PM. Nice to know real estate is only sold 6 hours a day.

They dont use a secure document portal, the realtor used a gmail account which was hacked. In using this broker and its realtor, we had many prank calls, and unprofessionalism from many others in dealing with these girls. They have no live person to contact, the voicemail says they will get the message. These people dont care who is using thier name. My client reported realtors from future home Realty . They dont get out much or read the news and understand how much corruption there us in the world today, are brainwashed by gossip. We do not recommend this company because of the way its realtors. Very childish awful the way these two
handled our private and sensitive financial and private family business and health information.

Kay Brooks by far exceeded our expectations , she is upfront and very honest. Very knowledgeable not only in real estate, but pointed my wife and I in the proper direction for financing. We can't thank her enough , 5 stars is not nearly enough. She made herself available day and night even weekends.

I worked with one of their agents Doreen Gonzales. Doreen rented us one of her own homes. I was moving from out of state and my toddler is asthmatic so we only considered pet free homes. I explained that clearly, but she still advertised her home as pet free and when asked for confirmation lied about the dog and the cat that had lived there. I ended up having to lose money for the application fee, clubhouse and security fees, and about $150 water bill for our stay at her house that lasted less than a week. Due to her lie, we had to search for another home in a very short amount of time whilst a hurricane was threatening to hit FL. We had to stay in hotels and accrued extra moving expenses not to mention the added stress. If you want your realtor to be an honest person, I recommend you search for a different realtor and a different broker that hires honest people.
