After buying our brand new travel trailer, I have some comments to make. We have bought four of our last five RV's at Fun Town in Cleburne. All of our buying experiences have been great. Fun Town also has a center in San Angelo. Because of the proximity to us in Abilene, any maintenance problems are corrected there. They are also great. I do want to recognize Toby Derington, our salesman, for the outstanding service he rendered my wife and I. I am a disabled veteran which requires certain features in an RV. I had an interest in a few travel trailers and Toby went above and beyond to help us decide on our selection. Toby is kind, patient and very knowledgeable about Fun Town's RV's. From the start of our selection of our RV, going to finance, and preparing the trailer for taking home, he was with us all the way and never waivered in his commitment to us as buyers. Thank you Toby for a wonderful experience. In addition, I would like to recognize Conner in finance. He was truly a person you can count on to take care of you. Thank you Conner. Lastly, David who took care of us in getting ready to take the travel trailer. David answered all of our questions and repaired any problems we found. Fun town should be very pleased to have you in their maintenance section. Thank you David. In closing, I would recommend anyone, plus those who have disabilities, to shop and buy at Fun Town RV in Cleburne.

Met Doug Danz on our first visit. He was most gracious and helpful. We already had an idea of the unit wanted and had met with other dealerships. Even with his admission of being new to the dealership, he was most helpful in firming up our decision. There were questions that he was not familiar with but rather that pretending he knew, he quickly found the answer for us. He very soon redirected our comfort with another dealership leading to a finalized sale. We have been most pleased since.

Purchased a Cedar Creek Cottage 40CCK from Fun Town RV in Cleburne.,TX on Sept.20 2017. Sales process went well. Cash Sale. Showroom is really nice. The dept that runs the walkthru was impressive and very professional. Why 3 stars only? The unit did not have a shade over the dining room table. I was told by Tony Ensor my salesman that one would be ordered and delivered to me. There have been numerous calls to Tony which resulted in numerous reasons for non delivery. I finally called the Parts dept. and spoke to Emily. VERY helpful. She is going to order the parts for me as soon as the Warranty dept. reviews it. It's been over six weeks without a shade on my dining room window. Oh and I almost forgot, the rig came with the wrong size screen door . Emily said the door was on it's way. Tony Ensor problem again? Received a call from Allan in Parts and he has accepted the responsibility to get may shades. GREAT. What's with Salesman Tony Ensor? Be cautious with him. Rest Of FUN TOWN RV rates a 5 star rating.

Funtown RV in Cleburne has been repairing my trail...

Funtown RV in Cleburne has been repairing my trailer since September 2015. I bought a brand new travel trailer last April 2015. We used the camper this summer and noticed the trailer had some issues. The hydraulic leveling jack bent on one side of the trailer. The bedroom window leaks. The table is extremely wobbly. The outdoor kitchen door is falling apart. A door inside for storage does not latch. There are a few air bubbles in various places on the exterior of the trailer.

I called the service department in September and made an appointment to bring the trailer in for an inspection. They re-attached some trim that had come undone and ordered all the various parts for repairs. I waited a good while to hear about the parts being delivered. They never called me so I called them in October and was told the parts were on back order. The manager told me two weeks later to bring the trailer in to be repaired. The trailer is still there! I have spoken to Chad, Adam, Stacey and Craig. They have all told me many different stories about my trailer. Curtis told me that he was going to get another trailer and take parts off of it to repair mine. He told me it would be ready February 6! I have yet to hear back from anyone. They have my trailer, I don't know what is going on! These people never call me, it's always me calling them to find out what is going on with my trailer.

I am a retired Marine and this was the one thing I had looked forward to in retirement, traveling with my family! I am unable to live my dream because of the poor customer service at Funtown RV! I am posting this here because I am hoping the owner reads these reviews. I have asked for the owner to meet with me whenever the trailer is repaired so I can let him know how horrible the service is.

****UPDATE**** The owner called me the next day. He said he saw my review and promised to have everything taken care of. I am happy to say I was finally able to pick my camper up within a week. I'm not sure why it took so long to begin with but I can tell you that the owner really does care about his customers!

I ve been to several RV shows and various RV stores and wish I hadn t wasted that time and come straight to this instead! It took us about an hour to drive there, but they have multiple buildings, anything you could possibly want, most of the inventory is indoors, and the salesman we dealt with, Josh Pruitt was a breath of fresh air, and reminded me of Blake Shelton in the best of ways. Our kids were with us acting crazy and no one was phased. Everything we looked at we hadn t seen before. The girl at the front desk today was super sweet as well. Just the greatest experience and we will definitely be back to make that purchase soon!!!

I purchased an xlr 401amp new from fun town and have regretted almost every part of that decision. You did have the brand and configuration that I was looking for but I couldn't be more disappointed with the service.
I was told it would be delivered by a certain date and then just a few days before I was informed that that was not going to happen.
I agreed to come get it from MN and made it to Texas before being told that it wasn't ready as was stated it would be and would be multiple days before it was. Back to MN I go.
camper got delivered missing a tv, damaged and lots of items not working correctly. But I did eventually get it.
In all fairness fun town paid for a tv that I did not want waste my time going to get and really didn't want to install. But they paid for it.
Had to call many times to try and get the mso and never got calls back as promised. I did eventually get it as it was there but it took a great deal of effort and time and frustration to do so along with help from some one outside of that dept.
I don't know how many times I have left messages with people in service and have never!!! gotten a call back from any one in that dept. last week I was stuck at a campground as the down riggers would not operate. I called service they told me the assistant service manager had been made aware of my issue and would call me before he left for the day. I thanked them and explained that I needed help that day as I was stuck.
Never got that call. The next day I left a message on a sales guys phone and asked that he contact service and have them call me back. never got that call.
monday the service team comes back to work. I was sure they would call me back. never got that call.
This is one of many times service has not called me back.
The team with the mso didn't call me back multiple times.
People in sales didn't call me back when I was on my way from MN to TX because the guy that sold it to me was't there.
I emailed the person that did sell it to me on aug 9th still no response. (today is the 19th)

FYI I am no longer stuck another dealer helped me fix the issue.
Thank you.

We chose our Cedar Creek Silverback online. We contacted Fun Town RV and I spoke with Kris Menden. He was very professional from beginning to end. He stayed with us through the process and was knowledgeable about the 5th wheel.
Since we were driving in from out of town, he suggested we stay in their RV Park for the night.
We felt like his only customer and even on his day off he bent over backwards to accommodate us.
So don t forget to ask for Kris!
Thank you Kris and Fun Town RV!

Fun Town RV in Cleburne has the largest selection ...

Fun Town RV in Cleburne has the largest selection of RVs we have seen. They were helpful, friendly and made the entire process very simple. Our salesman, Mike Wells was the BEST! He was always available for questions and ensured each step of the process was expedited in the best way. There was never any pressure to make decisions and if he didn't know the answer, he found it for us. Thank you, Mike Wells, for greeting us when we arrived and for taking care of our needs.
Unfortunately, the service ends with the sale. About a year after our purchase, we made an appointment to have some cosmetic and other work completed. We made this appointment 3 months in advance to coincide with a visit to this area. The appointment was not honored and the service manager, Gary Hubnik, had no intention of doing what he promised. Disappointed, considering the new service area allotted to meeting customer needs, especially ones who purchased their RV from Fun Town. Lesson learned and I felt others need to know what to expect if they plan to use Fun Town for their entire RV needs.

BUYERS BEWARE. I have literally never had to work...

BUYERS BEWARE. I have literally never had to work so hard to BUY something in my life. I was scheduled and greeted by David, a sales rep and we looked at several trailers before making a decision. Signed a few forms for my trade in, which was a boat and financing. This was on Thursday evening. After making several attempts to call and speak with David, the original salesman about an offer for my trade in, I was contacted by Junior, which is supposedly the sales manager. Numbers were crunched and we agreed on a final price(less TT&L and other expenses such as brake control, etc.) On Friday evening around 7 pm. I got a frantic message on Saturday around noon from David, the original sales rep, about how the trailer was being viewed by another party and potentially might be sold out from under me. He then requested a thousand dollar retainer for the unit to hold it, for which I obliged. This is where it goes from the shoddy mishandling of a client to the ol' bait and switch. Just to be completely transparent, I was taking close to a 6k loss on my boat trade since it was "out of season" and rolling it onto a trailer with an asking price of 18k making the total 24k. Originally we had agreed to negotiate that to 21900. After I made the deposit and the unit was "secure" after numerous calls on Saturday to financing department and even more unreturned calls on Monday, I finally get a call from the 4th person I had to deal with, which was from financing. Apparantly, the 21900 price that was agreed upon, they forgot to mention that it was the price out the door AFTER a $2600 down payment making the ACTUAL sales price 24500! Now, normally I would chalk this all up to the classic game of telephone since my paperwork made it to so many peoples desks, but i got a call soon after from junior letting me know that he was being perfectly "transparent" with me. Just bad service yall. Do your math and ask for offers IN WRITING. By the way, did a stop pay through Chase on my grand (which i was told was "non refundable" by David) regardless of the huge error made by the sales staff. I would have been a first time customer of Fun Town and probably repeat, but I can assure you, not now, not ever.

We are long time campers and have had numerous pop-ups and travel trailers. We went to Funtown to look at a Rockwood Mini-Lite like one our friends owned. We met with Ed Gentry and he showed us the model we wanted and was very courteous and professional with us. We took delivery and Troy did our walk-through and explained everything very well. The trailer we really like but we had difficulty hooking up the trailer with the Husky hitch we were sold with the camper. Ed followed up with us and I let him know we were having difficulty with the hitch. We decided to see how we'd do on a short trip. We again had difficulty with the hitch and I called Ed to see if the hitch could be adjusted to make the torsion bars easier to move. He advised that they come from the manufacturer torqued that way and couldn't be adjusted. I asked if we could upgrade to another hitch that would be easier to use. Ed checked and offered to swap us out of the Husky hitch to an Equalizer hitch and we just pay the difference. We did that and are very happy. Ed and Funtown have been very responsive to our needs. We are happy campers now! Thank you!

Extremely frustrated. We went last Friday to put money down to buy a 5th wheel. We were told the finance person would call us back that same day before the paperwork was submitted to the banks. Nothing. It is now almost Thursday of the following week and we ve heard absolutely nothing. The finance people refuse to answer our calls and the secretary promises they will call us back but they never do. We called earlier today and were promised a return phone call in 10-20 minutes . It s now been 6 hours and of course, no call. They are tying up $1,000 of ours and can t communicate at all. We are cancelling this deal and going to another dealer. Absolutely pitiful. I can t imagine trying to get service done here if the sales process is this pathetic.

Why can't I give 0 stars? I submitted an credit application for myself and my wife on May 21st. The sales person named James contacted me saying he received my "request for information". After a brief phone call, he had me send him my drivers license, which I know is typical to run credit since I am also in sales. He then responded with my SSN wasn't correct. So I sent it to him. It seemed as though he pre-qualified me in his mind after I told him we didn't have any money down at that time. My credit was not ran, only my wife's was (I work and she's a stay at home Mom to our 3 kids and a full time college student). I have NEVER heard anything back from this establishment. As I mentioned earlier, I am in sales as well, and I had a REALLY good month. Because of this, I had around $2,000.00 to put down (I was told you need a 720 credit score or above to put $0 down...I've never heard that before in my 2 years of sales). So, had they contacted me, or at least stayed current with their follow ups, I would be going in to pick up my new camper instead of taking that down payment money and paying for an all inclusive vacation next week. I hope the store in Waco isn't run the same way, because we are still in the market for a camper, just not from this store.

We have been shopping for many months and have found that most places seem to be more concerned with staying in the cool AC than in the hot Texas weather. Chuck Ramirez at Fun Town RV went way out of the way to help locate the right trailer for us and even took us to the storage lot just to see the trailer. I look forward to doing business with Chuck!

Friendly sales staff not pushy at all, they give their bottom line so you can compare to othe dealers. The pix are my new 33ft. travel trailer model Cruiser MPG 2800QB. Bring paper and pencil to take notes as many RV's are similar. I didn't do this and quickly got confused by so many choices in my price range. Figure about 10% over for tax mostly and title and tags. This is my third RV. I fulltime RV and right now I'm paying $350 per month plus electric and water, about another$100/month at a full time RV Park and I move about every two years to other towns and states.

I would never recommend fun town rv to anyone. Horrible place to go if you want to purchase an rv. The people there are nice, helpful, and friendly when making a sale; but after the sale is done they don't care about taking care of their customers. They sell their customers all the extra warranties then don't cover the expensive repairs when needed and give you the run around or never return your calls.

The salesman was friendly. I was told the propane tanks would be filled, nope. There was a rip in the awning when I unrolled it for the first time, I called about it, no one cared. My front a/c was much louder than supposed to be, no one cared. I was told those things and more would be looked at to make sure they worked and everything was good before it was delivered, they did nothing. Will I do business there again? No. Will I recommend them? No. I m giving 1 star only because the salesman was friendly.

Drove 1700 miles round trip to pick up a trailer. Upon inspection found 3 patches on the roof that were not disclosed to me before making the trip. I don't think they intentionally withheld the damage, but they sure didn't look their product over very closely. If I had not found it,I would of ended up with a defective unit. They need to spend a little more time checking over their units so people don't waste their time and money like I did !!! If they are too busy to do this, maybe they should downsize a little so they can do a thorough job of representing their product!

My gf and I purchased our 5th Wheel RV from Jacob ...

My gf and I purchased our 5th Wheel RV from Jacob LeJeaune & had the best buying experience we've ever had. We purchased on a Sunday, 1st of December, 2019. (Now December 23, 2019) We had driven out to FTRV from Dallas. We walked in and asked us to sign in. Immediately, Jacob welcomed us in and as new RV buyers, he really helped us narrow down what we would like to look at since the selection is so big.

Long story short, Jacob spent hours upon hours with us and not just that Sunday. Over the course of a couple days. (Had to figure out where to put the rig & go through the extremely detailed run-a-round/through I wanted/needed as a newbie.)

I think Jacob even came in on his off hours to make sure our purchase went smooth all the way through to driving off the lot with the rig. Turns out, Jacob continued to follow up with us not just to make sure we arrived home, but over the past few weeks checking in. Modern companies know post purchase follow ups on expensive items are absolutely critical to a successful buying experience. It's the new standard. This is vital to a really satisfying purchase experience in this review/customer first era.

How was the financing part of the rig? It was easy. At least if you have Justin. Jacob & Justin made the purchase fit in our budget. They did not try to push us into anything too expensive or make that Gap & Warranty talk awkward. It was quite the opposite. We had some good laughs and I think we both walked away feeling both parties got a fair deal. This is so important for our future purchases and loyalty. (We are just 29 and 32 years old.. don't think this is my last RV!)

Important to know: I did not have a 5th wheel in my 2011 F-250. However, do not stress about this if you might be in my position. Jacob works with you to make this a non-issue. I have a short-bed, so I had to have a sliding hitch, but with the modern RV design that has the cut-outs, I will likely never need to use the slide. I jackknifed on day 1 and had no issue. SIDE NOTE: Get a 5th wheel plug in the bed if you don't have one. (Jacob, recommend this if they are not handy around the house.) When I jackknifed, I tore out my bumper 7 pin. (Just had to clip back in, no damage.) $35 later + a hole saw blade, I've got a plug in my bed with a kit that is plug and play to keep the bumper plug working, purchased on Amazon.)

Lastly, 2 things.

1. The lady who did our walk through was so patient and spent hours with us. Literally. And never felt like we were rushed. She even helped us walk through the store and made sure we had essentials before we left. (i.e. water filter, sewer hoses, etc.) We spent over $750, but I bought everything I wanted including a tire pressure monitoring system. (We had a $400 store credit.) They have everything you need. It's a hair pricier than Amazon, but they've got it all right there making it for us, very easy and were able to ask questions in reference to our exact RV model. This was key.

2. The guy who I believe is the RV guru mechanic/service expert, was the bomb at teaching me the ropes on backing up into the 5th wheel for the first time and how to operate the new hitch they had just installed. It was late on a Sunday evening and he was not even in a rush. Really gave me a lot of tips and went over some tricks to help me down the road.

SERVICE: We have yet to have a service experience. Some reviews are harsh on the service. I can't speak to that just yet, but will be sure to update as soon as we do. Jacob did, however, not sugar-coat the service time that might be experienced. I guess we bought knowing it's probably not going to be next day service. I sure hope it's not 3-4 months like I read on some posts and more like 3-4 weeks, max. I do know, most people only review the negative experiences. I hope to update with our first service experience to see if they are accurate or not. so stay tuned!

Many thanks to all who made our buying experience absolutely perfect. Literally, best buying experience ever.

Real nice people to say the least. I bought a camper trailer from Fun Town after searching for three months for something I liked. The sales reps that helped me, Ed Gentry were very knowledgeable and helpful. Rick in finance also was very helpful with financing. Worse customer service and communication EVER- avoid at all costs. We are disappointed in the business we have even given this place. No communication to the customer, between employees, nor response from the GM. We literally had to chase them for a sale. Would not recommend this place at all.

*Ricardo Garza - as of now we are waiting on the loan funding. No update from you all since Wed. Finally got Anthony on the phone, he had no clue we were waiting on an answer. We have orientation tomorrow but how is that supposed to happen, we have no idea where things stand? Scott Valdez told us we had a 3pm Tuesday to close the deal - we didn t leave until after 7 pm due to several others before us. Great scheduling! Additionally none of our sales reps were there because no one even knew we were showing up!!! Scott has not returned our calls and we finally got an update after chasing you all down this afternoon. Terrible customer service.

Bought a 2018 Wildwood fifth Wheel from fun town in Denton from Sales man Joe Soto. I ve had nothing but problem since day 1 from the short drive home about 80 miles things where falling apart. I opened up the slides and the speakers fell from the ceiling I immediately called my sales man and would not answer, and now 4 months later still no response. Now the screws are coming out of the rear slides and all the heads are broke off and I called to get it fixed and they say it will be 8 weeks, we have a trip planed in 2 weeks and they said it not there problem and for me to find somebody else to fix. Customer service sucks and I will never buy from them again. They don t have a problem selling you a RV but they will not fix them. Hope they have fun with the lawyer we just hired cause the trailer will be fixed when they get done with fun town. I asked what do you do if a person lives in a RV full time and it has problems they simple said it s not there problem.

Avoid this company - They've had our 2020 trailer since first week of April to repair a scratch in the gel coat that was caused by an awning arm that snapped (manufacturing defect). First service rep claimed that moths ate our paperwork and that was why she neglected to get the warranty claim started for nearly a month. Then she tried placing the blame with Stratus thinking that we wouldn't contact them for verification. Now we're on service rep number 2 and he doesn't seem to be able to pick up a phone to keep the lines of communication open. Multiple delivery date promises broken and here we are 3 weeks into August and still no trailer.
They've placed 3 orders with the awning manufacturer but claim they're being sent the wrong parts. Orders have been verified via the trailer manufacturer and the fault lies with Fun Town. At this point Fun Town really needs to just remove an awning from another trailer and place it on ours. TAKE CARE OF YOUR CURRENT CUSTOMERS - IT SHOWS FUTURE ONES YOU ACTUALLY CARE.

UPDATE: Finally got our trailer back on 8/25 to find that the recall repair of the shower skylight wasn't done correctly. The outside piece was replaced but they never replaced the interior piece. Lance blamed the oversight on the previous rep. He also neglected to send the cheater bar for our hitch system, claiming he knew nothing about it even though it was brought up every time we spoke with him and he was even reminded to return it the day the trailer was delivered to our local Fun Town. Very unprofessional all the way around.

We arrived at Funtown RV at 4pm the day before their big annual sale. but our salesman, Mike Wells gave us his complete attention and was able to answer all our questions. We had not made any major purchase since our retirement in 2010 so we were unsure as to what to expect on just our retirement income. But Mike took down all our information and showed us exactly the rig we were looking for. Then he got all our trade-in information and brought the finance people in to help us with that part of the purchase. We left with a Cedar Creek 5th wheel that was more than we ever thought we could afford. After 2 weeks with our new rig we are still excited and happy with the deal. This is more than just a new toy for us. As full-time RVers, this is our home. Thanks, Mike and Funtown RV.

We purchased an RV from Fun Town Cleburne today and it was a great experience. We had been looking for a specific used camper and had been trying to track it down for 3 weeks. This morning it came on the lot and as soon as Dexter saw it, he called us and we headed up there. It was about a 2 hour drive and as we were about 10 minutes away Dexter called and sent us a pin on the map so that we would know exactly where to find him at the dealership. When we got there we were offered cold waters and shown over to the used vehicle lot. The camper we were interested in was there and I m pretty decent shape. So we went back to the office to do paperwork. Well, while my husband was with Dexter, my son and I wandered the showroom and checked out all the campers. There was a huge variety and they seemed to hit every price point. Well we found one that wasn t to much more expensive than the used one and made more sense for our family. To Dexters great credit, he was patient with us and kind while we kind of deliberated. He never once tried to pressure us either way and never once made us feel like we were wasting his time. In the end we went with the new 2021 camper because it just made the most sense. Dexter then talked to us about what it would take to be ready to camp and escorted us to the store and then to financing. Again as patient as can be. He even left the dealership and came back to check on us as we were wrapping up and the place was closing down. He was so good to us and it was such a pleasant day. He was kind and considerate toward my kids which is always appreciated. Thanks Dexter and Thanks Fun Town.

Terrible experience, I drove over an hour to look at a specific trailer, and two hours prior to leaving my house I notified my salesman, Ed that I was on my way and he waited until I was in the parking lot to tell me he sold it. I will never be back to any fun town rv locations and unless you would like a bait and switch I would stay away as well

Craig Pazian was THE MAN, I have dealt with 25 to ...

Craig Pazian was THE MAN, I have dealt with 25 to 30 sales people in the last 3 years looking for the right fifth wheel, already having a particular floor plan in mind and manufacturers, Cedar Creek wasn t on my radar, not because I thought little of it, just that I knew very little about it. I was looking at Montana, Bighorn, Pinnacle, North Point, and Solitude, but all had a hitch weight that I was not comfortable with, and after Craig showed me comparisons on how they were built, I went with Cedar Creek, believe me I looked at nearly every aspect of the previously mentioned RV s, all were similarly priced and appointed, except for Solitude, it s price was higher in almost every instance, and I felt Cedar Creek was every bit as good for a few dollars less, without compromising quality. But as for Craig, of all the people I dealt with, he was one of 2 people that knew what he was talking about, he was friendly and personable, and helpful when it came to advice on towing but still leaving that decision with you as long as it was safe and met industry standards, if he didn t know something, he would tell you, but he would go get an answer in a timely fashion, if more people in RV sales were like Craig, well then Craig probably wouldn t stand out, but he does, Fun Town should give him a big Christmas bonus even if it is January!

Talking about a streamline place. The folks at Fun Town really know their stuff. We were very happy with our experience there. Darren Pack was our sales person. We had been looking for over a year, but just could not decide on the perfect fifth wheel for us. He was very patient and did not push at all, was very knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable. As far as it goes right now, I cant think of any other place I would want to buy from in the future. The delivery appt was made, and while hitch was being put on, we were signing papers and then did our walk thru....by the time that was done we were hooking up...Great place great folks... we give it 20 stars !!!

They are asking me to drop it off for 10-14 days. I m a full timer and can t be displaced for 10-14 days. Even asking to speak to the service manager nobody is willing to help me. Very disappointed in after the sale service.

Jimmy Thomas at Fun Town RV in Cleburne, Texas was...

Jimmy Thomas at Fun Town RV in Cleburne, Texas was forwarded the first contact email from me, listing some of the things my wife and I were looking for in our first Travel Trailer.

Jimmy not only read the email but unlike some salesmen, who see the phone number and have all other words on the page immediately disappear, Jimmy read what we were looking for as well as we did not want to be bothered during the evening hours. Jimmy waited until a reasonable time the following morning to call and already had several Travel Trailers located that had most of the features we had asked for.

Jimmy and I had a nice conversation trading questions and answers from both sides and then Jimmy emailed me the links to two trailers he thought we might like. Shortly after hanging up, Jimmy sent me another email with a link to one he thought we might really like. Jimmy thought right because it had every feature we had said we wanted and all but one of the features we said would be nice to have. In other words, it was our dream Travel Trailer which we had expected to take weeks to locate, right there in living colors before our eyes.

A couple of days later my wife and I took a trip to the Cleburne dealership. The Cleburne facility, I can no longer call it a dealership, is amazing. If you are used to a salesman walking you to several different models of Travel Trailers, in a crowded yard, showing you one of each model because those are the ones they have connected to power and are cooled down, you are in for an amazing treat if you visit Fun Tim's Cleburne facility.

Jimmy took us by the different sections of the facility, showing us the area dedicated to readying and maintaining 5th wheel Travel Trailers, the area where trailers are washed and cleaned before they were delivered to customers. He showed us a shaded camping area beside a small lake and invited us to spend a night or two there getting used to the new trailer if we decided to buy one.

Then we got to the trailer we had come to see. It was hooked up and cooled down. Jimmy gave us a tour of the trailer inside and out, showing us the many features that were standard with this model of the trailer as well as some unexpected upgrades that had been included as bonuses by either the manufacturer or by the dealer.

We fell in love with the trailer at first sight and after spending an hour or so asking questions and checking out all the features the trailer had to offer, we watched Jimmy's every move as he readied the trailer to be moved. Jimmy took us back to the office and introduced us to Justin, the Finance Wizard.

Justin was great and was, himself, a new owner of a travel trailer. Although not nearly as new as we were about to be. While asking us the finance questions for the application and printing those, he gave us tips on owning a travel trailer as well as a few things to watch out for or not to do unless we wanted to make other campers wish we had never come to the same park site. Before we realized it, Justin was handing us a packet of signed papers and congratulating us as owners of our very first travel trailer.

I can not say enough about Jimmy Thomas. He was one of five people who received identical emails from me. Three salesmen contacted me but only Jimmy had taken the time to actually attempt to find a trailer we might wish to look at even though he had no idea how determined we were to buy or if we were just looking for something we were dreaming of for later.

Jimmy did not push us at any point but was ready to answer our questions even if his answers might have not been the answers we had wished to receive. It was because of Jimmy that we made the trip to Cleburne even though there were closer RV dealers. It was because of Jimmy that we decided to buy the travel trailer that we purchased.
It was because of who we met and what we saw at the Fun Time RV facility in Cleburne, Texas that convinced us that making the purchase of our new travel trailer was only the beginning of our friendship with Jimmy, Justin and all the other great people at Fun Time RV.

This is no fun if an unknown transporter who is older. We called in advance letting them know we would be there between 9- 10 am that was yesterday. I called them this morning at 9:30 saying we were fifteen minutes away. We got there and we might as have been invisible. I called the office three times , two times straight voicemail. They had us wait in the hot sun . They didn't offer water or hi , how,are you? Nothing we waited nearly an hour . Then we were directed around the parking area , then around a pond to a trailer lot. Our r.v was a demo that was still hooked up. I don't work for Fun Town yet we were expected to unhook it. I called them and asked them to help us . No one showed up. We finally got it inspected and the key . They were too interested in selling then helping. I felt very disrespected. It was rude . I stayed in contact with the buyer. It was no fun .

Do Not buy from fun town ! Service department is a joke ! Camper won t cool like the sales person stated . We were told our water heater had a recall so we waited two months on parts not using it only to find out it was the furnace not the water heater . The only reason we found that out was them calling to say the parts had been there over a month and they were going to send them back if we couldn t bring the camper down the next day . The motors on the slide outs leaked oil on to the roof blistering the material. This is a warranty issue . They have had the camper 27 days and just stated they have gotten the approval to repair it . I was told one week ago that the work was already completed. Do your self a favor and purchase your Rv somewhere else !

Ed Gentry was our salesman and did a good job explaining the Wildwood XLite to us. We picked our unit up about 10 days after the RV show and the only concern we have is that the pickup and walk thru was lengthy. This was probably due to the volume of business at the RV show. It took us 6 hours to get through the walk thru.

All in all, we love the camper and trust that our long term relationship with FunTown RV will be as great as the Wildwood!
