BUYERS BEWARE. I have literally never had to work so hard to BUY something in my life. I was scheduled and greeted by David, a sales rep and we looked at several trailers before making a decision. Signed a few forms for my trade in, which was a boat and financing. This was on Thursday evening. After making several attempts to call and speak with David, the original salesman about an offer for my trade in, I was contacted by Junior, which is supposedly the sales manager. Numbers were crunched and we agreed on a final price(less TT&L and other expenses such as brake control, etc.) On Friday evening around 7 pm. I got a frantic message on Saturday around noon from David, the original sales rep, about how the trailer was being viewed by another party and potentially might be sold out from under me. He then requested a thousand dollar retainer for the unit to hold it, for which I obliged. This is where it goes from the shoddy mishandling of a client to the ol' bait and switch. Just to be completely transparent, I was taking close to a 6k loss on my boat trade since it was "out of season" and rolling it onto a trailer with an asking price of 18k making the total 24k. Originally we had agreed to negotiate that to 21900. After I made the deposit and the unit was "secure" after numerous calls on Saturday to financing department and even more unreturned calls on Monday, I finally get a call from the 4th person I had to deal with, which was from financing. Apparantly, the 21900 price that was agreed upon, they forgot to mention that it was the price out the door AFTER a $2600 down payment making the ACTUAL sales price 24500! Now, normally I would chalk this all up to the classic game of telephone since my paperwork made it to so many peoples desks, but i got a call soon after from junior letting me know that he was being perfectly "transparent" with me. Just bad service yall. Do your math and ask for offers IN WRITING. By the way, did a stop pay through Chase on my grand (which i was told was "non refundable" by David) regardless of the huge error made by the sales staff. I would have been a first time customer of Fun Town and probably repeat, but I can assure you, not now, not ever.
