I love that this place preserves history with the soda fountain feel in what used to be a pharmacy. Wonderful food and friendly people. Highly recommend.
Great food. Got the Harrodsburger and a purple cow ice cream float... devoured it. Cute little place too. There is plenty of seating since they also own the side next door, and use the back porch as a patio. The drink bar is in the back.
I grew up in Harrodsburg and moved away after college. However, my mom still lives here. Every time we visit, at least one trip to Ky Fudge Company is a must! It is located in an 1860s drug store and has been meticulously restored. The old glass front cabinets and medicine drawers are something to see. The counter with stools are there... oh, and the food is fantastic, too. The olive nut is divine!
This is a true gem of central Kentucky. Fudge and desserts are amazing. The meals are reasonably priced and the service is excellent.
Great food. Knowledgeable exquisite counter person.
An amazing place to eat! You'll find an assortment of great foods here and awesome service!
Always a great time! Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, friendly owners! We've been coming here for years whenever we're in town and it just keeps getting better!! Can't wait for my next trip down to KY to stop back by! If you're in the area it is definitely worth the stop! I'll be dreaming of the grilled cheese, tomato soup, and homemade cookies until next time...
Love the sliders at kentucky fudge co!
The owner is awesome! Take time to look at the inside of the restaurant, on the wall that he has done himself!
5 star food
Such a neat and historic place. The ice cream was really good too! Maybe a bit heavy with the chocolate sauce but that s just a personal preference.
Nom. Nom. Nom.
Great food but always busy.....do not go if you are in a hurry.
Love love LOVE this place! The charming atmosphere draws you in immediately, and the care in crafting their quality menu items is evident in every beverage, dish, or piece of fudge. Check their calendar for events such as live music and game nights too! My #1 recommendation for a first date or out-of-town guests.
Love the food, hate the wait. If you are in a hurry, keep going... But if you have the time, go in and dine!
Good food. Good service. Sometimes has entertainment. Lots of history.
We were out of town and ate here for the 1st time. This place will not disappoint. Everything was really good!
Wonderful business! Great food, service and atmosphere! Will definitely eat here again!!!!
Much more than a candy store! They have ice cream, an old time soda fountain and soups, salads and sandwiches for lunch as well as some specials. The sandwiches are very good and creativr, like brie grilled cheese or bacon, avocado and tomato. Service was quick even during a crowded lunch time. They had fudge samples available although we didn't try any, lunch was enough. We'll worth a stop.
Great service and the food was delicious. I got the roast beef sliders and tomato bisque soup - both so yummy, but the soup was the best I think I have ever had.
If you haven't visited this place, you are missing out. Only reason I didn't give 5 starts is I haven't tried but a few items they have to choose from.
Great chicken salad. Super nice people. My first visit but not my last
Great nostalgic atmosphere. Eat here at least once a week. Roast Beef Manhattan is yummy, tomato bisque soup is a perfect winter warmup. Everything I have had here is very good! The owners take pride in it and it shows.
A great spot for lunch. Tuna salad a bit dry, every thing else was excellent.
Love love love the Kentucky Fudge Company. I believe it is an old drug store converted into a restaurant/ice cream shop. Anyhow, friendly service and tons of fun stuff to choose from. The ambiance takes you back to turn of the century Kentucky when, in a foggy retrospect, things were simpler. They make great sundaes!
Great bar, nice deck out back. Great food, lunch too. Live music on weekends. Not usually too crowded either.
Excellent. We drive over 60 miles to enjoy really great food and atmosphere. Fudge is really good too.
Quaint place. Food was outstanding. Wish there were more venues like this
Like this place a lot. The grilled club sandwich is my favorite. I like the kitchen sink hot dog as well. Good atmosphere.
Great food, awesome building with history, worth the visit!
Nostalgic with great ice creme and cold brewed coffee!
Very nice place, good fudge, memories of old time Sofa Shops...
Always a great time with the Chamber Perk Up meetings too!! Just another thing they do for our community.
This place has a very comfortable atmosphere. The people who own the place are very welcoming and just tremendous. Highly recommended
Old time soda shop feel! The food is phenomenal! Nice fairly healthy selection. Reasonably priced. Great ice cream, shakes and malts. They serve craft beers and gourmet coffee and espresso as well. Nice find in a small town. Nestled in the historic downtown district just a couple of blocks from Fort Harrod I highly recommend stopping by and settin a spell!
Great lunch menu. A real piece of history when you go here. The feel is definitely old school and totally casual. And yes, the fudge is pretty tasty.
Cherry choke is made the old fashion way which I super like!! Food was great!
The food was great and the atmosphere was too! Definitely will go back.
Wonderful place great food good drinks good atmosphere
This cafe is one of my all-time favorite places to visit. Not only is "The Fudge" (our term of endearment) a staple for the locals, but the charm of this historic drugstore has been lovingly restored and is a mandatory pit stop for many tourists as well. I've recommended it as a perfect first date, with interesting menu items and an atmosphere that evokes a surprising joy when you walk in. They often feature live music, trivia, or other interesting events to give you something a little different for your night on the town. Go! You'll be thrilled you did.
Food was good. Staff very helpful and friendly. They are located in an old pharmacy and kept a lot of the old pharmacy items. Love they kept the history of the location. They had a stage for music and board games for the kids.
don't let the name fool ya - this is a great hang out, great place where everyone knows your name --- and we take clients here for lunch. you want 'local', this is your place. And great food...
I made a comment to my car mates - wow all these reviews are 5 stars - and now we know why! Cool place and great food. Nice people. Really glad we visited - Highly recommended! They make a hamburger out of meatloaf I mean come on
This place is really neat. It was a pharmacy years ago and accept for being able to get prescriptions filled, it has what the old drug stores used to have. There is old historical remnants of the pharmacy.
I got the club sandwich and it made my mouth dance. Best club I've ever had. The interior of the old drugstore is beautiful. Lots of old cabinets, drawers, and the ceiling is lovely. The staff was very helpful and polite. Will definitely be going again.
This is one of my favorite places on Earth. My family and I choose this spot for all of our family gatherings. We drive an hour and a half to come here and are never disappointed!!! Exceptional service, drinks, food, and atmosphere. Highly recommended!!!
This is one of my favorite places! Everything I've had here is outstanding! Awesome lattes, margaritas and mojitos. The food and desserts are great too, and so reasonably priced! The trivia on Saturday nights is very fun as well. I love the character and charm of this vintage pharmacy turned soda shop.
The food is excellent, has a great atmosphere to it and nice staff. Price was cheaper than I expected it to be.
Great little privately owned spot that's well worth the effort to experience. The young employees are very well trained and very friendly. Obviously a place they enjoy working for. They don't make their own ice cream but it's hand dipped and as good as anywhere. Great menu, homemade deserts, coffee drinks and an authentic antique drug store with many relics of its past. Never had a bad experience here. They recently bought the old restaurant next door and it's now connected. Ice cream for the kids and a cozy bar and deli next door. My kind of place.
Love the atmosphere and the unique spin on sandwiches. I either go with the gourmet grilled cheese or the grilled club. Both are delicious!! For sides the tomato bisque soup is a favorite and the potato salad is a must! Potato salad is more of a sour cream and ranch based flavor rather than mayo which is why I love it!!!
Great place to have lunch and hang out with friends on weekend

A terrific reasturant that has a great small town feel to it. Would recommend to all!
A restaurant in a beautiful old drugstore setting with amazing food and sweets. What more could you want?
Real food,good food,great atmosphere,perfect lunch date
Very very slow service. If you are going for lunch, you will need 2 hours for that. Food is not very impressive. The fudge is full of sugar which overpowers everything.
A place you have to experience your self to aprechat the time and place it was when it was what it was built to be back in the 1930 s and.1940,1950.1960,its all their
Great place for trivia. Love the old time did fountain feel.
Loved it. Food and cocktails are great. Service is even better.
Nice spot for lunch. Simple menu of wholesome food. Historic setting.
