As others said not worth 1 star. Absolutely rubbish. Appointed by my insurers after a claim for subsidence. The plasterwork was appalling, lumps and bumps everywhere and after the decorators finished the plaster still showed through the emulsion. Still cracks everywhere plus more new ones. No communication. In addition they damaged my wooden flooring and then denied it even though I have photographic evidence. I ve taken advice from Consumer Protection. Please do not let them in your house.

recently had some work carried out following a water leak at my house and was looked after by Katy, Kelly and Ian in their Castleford branch. Excellent service from start to finish and wouldn't hesitate to have them back again.
The office ladies (Katy & Kelly) kept me updated and Ian who was in charge made regular visits to make sure the works were being done. The workmen were very respectful of me and my home which looked fabulous when they had finished - big thank you to all concerned
I can t thank this Company enough for the brilliant job they did on my property. It was an insurance claim when a car ran into my property another company was appointed by the insurance company. It took the other company 5 months to attempt to complete the work which was dreadful, ( photos speak for them selves ) they had no respect for myself or my home they actually did more damage then the original accident. After a full on fight with the insurance group they where taken off the job. All work ceased. After 2 months they finally agreed to the new builders. They got the go ahead to start. They came to see the job gave me a start date and completion date (weather permitting). They started and completed on time even though they had extra work undoing the other companies complete botch up work. They workmen where second to none. They kept me informed throughout the work of what was happening. I am delighted with the workmanship. Never at any stage was my home inside or out left at the end of there working day left untidy or messy they cleared everything. I haven t written many reviews and the ones I have done in the past have been negative but I am so pleased with this builder and there employees I took the time to write a positive. I would undoubtably highly recommend this company and would certainly use again for any further work I may need.
We found this company to be more than helpful . Their service was a hundred per cent . The gentleman that came out to sort out our leak went above and beyond to sort our problem out with a successful outcome . They will definitely be our go to company in the future if we need any further help . It s five stars from us !
Worse contractor ever. My kitchen remodelling turned from a one week job to a 4 WEEKS JOB! I lived without a kitchen for a month because they to lazy to come finish the job. Whenever I called them they always come with up with a new excuse.
Office staff are often uncontactable by phone and don't seem to care anyway, making simple mistakes and taking days often weeks to rectify them or even acknowledge your request. The contractors themselves were much better and were hard working. They made a good job of the repair to my home which sweetened things for me.
FSH Recently did some work after a leak in my bathroom. I would like to say how pleased I was with the work FSH did for me. From start to finish everyone involved in sorting out my bathroom was professional, reliable and honest. The Surveyor came and had a look and explained to me what happened and how it can be fixed. Then the office staff arranged the work very quickly and it was sorted out by your very efficient workmen. Johnny and Aaron were amazing, they are total perfectionists. The quality and standard of the little that FSH did makes the rest of the bathroom look shabby. The guys even cleaned up after themselves, it s all the little touches that made the whole experience amazing!
Not even worth one star! They were appointed by loss adjuster to sort out an insurance claim for damage to a rental property we own, and were given specific instructions by me that all communication was to be done between myself or the rental agent. The first problem arose when a schedule of work, including cost, was sent to the tenant. FSH were once again told communication had to be between myself or our agent. I gave them instructions to paint damaged paintwork in magnolia and white gloss. The office manager ignored this and asked the tenant what colours she wanted. They used grey and blue! Having agreed with the office manager they would return and make good a bad job, on a Tuesday, a day agreed between ourselves and the tenant, the decorator went on the Saturday. They entered a tenanted property without permission and even though the manager told me this was his decision as the decorator had time available on the Saturday, I was later told by the Loss Adjuster that he told them it was because the decorator hadn t been able to go Tuesday. When I ask for answers the manager tells me he has to contact the Loss Adjuster, but the Loss Adjuster tells me it has nothing to do with him as the contract is between myself and FSH! This complaint is still not resolved, I am either fobbed off or lied to or the managers are not available. If the tenant decides to complain officially that the workmen entered the property without permission this will further complicate the situation.I am appalled at the incompetence of a company which claims to be professional, thank goodness they record all their calls so they can replay and find out how they have lied and not done as asked. Had I known all this I would never have allowed FSH to deal with this claim. Avoid them at all costs!
I cannot praise this company and it's employees enough. The efficiency and professionalism that has been shown dealing with my claim and subsequent works have been exemplary. All the staff have been helpful, courteous and attentive showing great attention to detail from the very beginning. The works have been done when scheduled, everyone turned up on time and worked hard to get the job done and with a smile on their face! Thank you to everyone at FSH Mark and Angela Whiteley (Aston)
