Fry's Electronics Review

Very large store inside with plenty of parking. Very clean inside and outside. Each department is very well stocked. I shopped 5 departments on a Saturdey afternoon and found store employees friendly willing to help. I did notice that all employees were older gentleman in their 50's or older and well informed. No young kids. I had trouble checking out and a lady came right over and corrected the problem. Lots of great deals with their in-store promotions.

A mega shop with every electronic gadgets. The personal help is a hit and miss.

These stores days are over. I going to Fry's to interact with the new stuff. But last time I went was very disappointing to see that it became a department store... very sad to see it happen

Online shopping is easier and faster. But sometimes, we still need to try it physically before we can decide it is what we want. Fry's is such a place to try and buy or not buy later.

Store half empty. Like a ghost town. Are they closing ?????

I like the selection of electronics here, but it feels like a ghost town. They seem to want to sell you everything in the world, which is fine, but majority of your staff just stand there and stare at customers. Learn a thing or two from Best Buy where they actually go on the floor and help people. I also don t appreciate they ask you 21 questions when you return an item here. They ask like it s their goal to keep you from returning the item rather than keeping you happy.

I am an electronics guy, so this was absolute heaven! Had amazing tvs, ranging from very affordable to higher end appliances. Overall good deals on all products. Good service too.

Did not have what I needed even though they said they did. Ended up driving to Fremont.

A Sunnyvale institution with a ton of different computer parts, electronics, and appliances.

Fry's have all types of electronics, like TV, and what's showing in it and what you sit for watching it. Though you might not find a best one, but they have a little of everything. Also they have VERY good discount occasionally, like a 80% off on 3d printer filament, or maybe a 60% off on some TV.

Great store. One stop for all electronic needs. Nice deals most time of the year. If you find a low price, they will match it, that's the best part of Frys.

I love Fry's! It is an experience unto itself. When I moved to silicon Valley, shopping at Fry's for parts to build up a computer was one of the most enjoyable experiences. Since then I've bought TVs, appliances, laptops and a wide variety of other items. Sometimes you need to be persistent (and patient) to locate a specific item. Pricing is consistently good. Return & refund process is outstanding. Large dedicated parking lot.

Checkout is horrible, very limited staff who don't have a clue how to use their own systems..

I don't live near a Fry's so going is a pilgrimage.

Pretty good. Less crowded. Lots of parking. Fast billing. Only worry is they don't have newer models which you can find in amazon

Their inventory system is a joke. Call before hand if you actually want to leave with what you wanted.

Bad services in the foods station only one person in the kitchen

I'm 99% sure the SSD I was sold was fraudulent. It reported 120gb but would fail from out of memory errors after a couple gigs had been loaded onto it.

Good prices, good customer services, great variety of electronic products.

Many things in this store, many, there you can find everything from cell phone cases to a stereo, hair dryer, pots, headphones, etc. There are not many people for assistance, if you want to help, you have to go after a salesperson. It is better to research the prices beforehand on the internet before buying something, so you don't find it too cheap.

Huge store and tons of inventory. It is overwhelming for me and I require assistance to find what I need.

A bit pricey, but definitely a must-go if you want to grab a pair of earbuds, or computer accessories in a hurry. The store has a variety of good items in stock, pretty much like a warehouse.

I bought a computer and items for it, over 1200.00 purchase, When I got to my office and open the boxes the thing that was in the Box was not even the thing that was what I bought I take it back to the store and I'm being treated like maybe I'm trying to spoof or something so what do you do when you buy something and you get home it's not to think you bought although it's in the Box that says it's the thing you bought but what's inside the Box is not what you bought how do you prove the storm in a mistake so now I'm being treated like a criminal how nice.

This place is a must go to see . It's freaking AMAZING. Everything a person could ever want when shopping for electronics.

I love shopping around here. They have friendly staff and sell many things from computers to toys, they focus more on electronic things, thus having resistors, chips, electronic boards and many other things, they also have car stereos, and even electrical appliances such as washing machines and refrigerators. In short, if I recommend it, they give very good guarantees and if something happens by chance they will not change it or refund your money without doing so much sow. By the way they usually have Spanish speaking staff.

HUGE store, stocks a good selection on electronics components in addition to pretty much every other type of household electronic. Staff didn't know a ton about electronics, but pointed me in generally the right direction.

The slow-mo death by Amazon is hard to watch. The Fry's is dead. God save the Fry's.

Once I moved to this Sunnyvale area, I have stopped online shopping. Good bye amazon as long as I have frys. I literally bought all parts and build my own computer. They have everything you can imagine. From treadmills to network cards. If you take you ev to shopping they have the charger too. Prices are competitive and sometimes better than online. One thing to note though their online system is super buggy. I tried ordering multiple times before offer was expiring, but it just wouldn't go through. I emailed the customer service and fit a response back after 1 day, by then the offer was gone. I wish recommend go to the store instead on online shopping.

Very clean, modern store. Nice ladies restroom and cafe. Same inventory as in other Fry's but employees seem more helpful, friendly and willing to answer questions. One person actually told me which brands were bottom of the line and which were good quality without breaking the bank.

I absolutely LOVE FRYS, they have so many great products. Every electronic persons dream store! They jave it all and fantastic prices. I drive about 5 hours round trip just to shop here. I wish they had one closer to me.

I love going to the different locations to explore the store items but mostly as a dang tourist cuz their decor is always like ancient civilizations such as Egyptian, Mayan, Aztec so on. But this time I went for specific printing paper/needs. It's a specialty store but this location had really bare shelves. So didn't find what I needed. But loved to sight see.

I love Frys, to bad those days of crowded stores are gone...

This is the nicest Fry's in the South Bay. They have the best camera selection too, though it's still pretty anemic unless you're looking for a point-and-shoot.

Seriously...what's going on Fry's? You have nothing on your shelf's almost. And not just recently. For months now. Are you transitioning to an online only kind of place? The cafe is still awesome. Thank You for that.

Disappointed in the lack of selection of of the store. It used to have anything you could dream of and now empty space. Amazon, or a big box store serves better unless you want computer specific hardware.

Clean and decently laid out for a Fry's. Service can be lacking - be prepared to have one of the salesmen sit in the shadows until you find what you're looking for, only to swoop in for a commission when you're ready to check out.
