Just get the apple pie and then you will understand why this place deserves 5 stars.
We went with a large group, about 25, and they took very good care of us and the food was good and hot and delicious!
Service, food and prices were amazing! If we are ever in the atea, we will come back to eat!
The food was good. Plenty of space between tables made for a more comfortable experience. Staff didn't know how to explain types of beer.
Busy. Fast. Great service Jacquell. Awesome breakfast. Will be back.
Friendly accurate staff... food was so so. Hard to fault a small town restaurant without knowing the competition. Fresh Apple Pie was a hit.
Good steak and shimp dinner and my wife said the spicy mango chicken was very good as well. Would definitely stop jere again.
Absolutely amazing! I'm just upset that I couldn't finish it all
Good place to eat we stop there every year on our way to otter creek it's our place to stop and eat very good food and friendly services , we will always stop and eat
We stopped here tonight and first off I have to say that I don't know what the people that don't like this are smoking. The food was amazing and came out extremely fast, the ambiance was so western, it makes you feel like you are in a frontier town and the views are breathtaking. The service was exemplary. My wife had the fajitas which in themselves was amazing, the fries were delicious. I had the ribeye which all I can say was oh my god, the flavor was spot on I ordered it medium well and it came out perfect. I love how the building fits in with the area surrounded by mountains very rustic feel and the interior made us feel very comfortable. Will definitely be back to dine here again.
Service was good. Food was awesome. Had the Lucy burger n wife had mushroom Swiss both were awesome. Liked that they had Christmas trees and stuff all over I m Otr so don t get to see that kinda stuff very often. Will be back when I come thro.
Very, very good. Best fish and chips I've had in the whole town. Ample amount of food could not quite finish. Reasonable price. I haven't tried everything on their menu but I have had the breakfast and it is also fantastic.
Awful food. & wouldn't let me have a smaller portion. Not going back
I've been here 3 different times as I was passing through town. I love this place. Best 'home cooked' meal I'd get on business trips. One time, I overheard a conversation between a waitress and customer - the customer wanted a certain steak and the waitress told him they had just ran out of it - but she said she could go to and buy it for him at the grocery store so they could cook it up. (This was done in an effort to provide great service, not done in a snotty way). The customer ended up saying it wasn't necessary and ordered something else.
This place offers down-home, good food and service. Try their Frontier Potatoes. This is my go-to place when I'm in Richfield! I've seriously considered going on a detour (out of my way) when I'm in the general area, just so I can visit this restaurant. Worth the trip.
We have an unfortunate history of picking roadside diners that coincide with birthdays that turn out to be the worst restaurants we've ever eaten at. We were on a roadtrip from Vegas and decided to try Frontier Village, and braced ourselves for the experience.
Our fears were completely unfounded for Frontier Village. The dining area was very clean and the waiters were attentive. The service was fast, and the food was really good! We had the fajita salad and the taco salad, and they were both good in their own right. The fajita salad had steak that was tasty, and the taco salad had a crispy shell and flavorful beef. My only nitpicks might be that black beans on the salad would be less heavy than the pinto beans in the center of the taco salad, and the raspberry vinaigrette dressing was a little syrupy.
Still, we were very impressed and will stop again when we're passing through.
Good food. Plenty of room at tables. Efficient service.
Dinner was pretty good but the mixed vegetables was disgusting. Prime Rib I asked for Med Rare and got rare.
Food was delicious and staff was amazingly wonderful. The buttermilk pancakes were so smooth and the sausage links tasted home made.
Definitely "American" by the traditional definition. Lots of meat and fried food with few vegetables in sight.
Absolutely Horrid. I waited 45 minutes for my eggs benedict. When they came, they were cold so I had to send them back. All the other food of my party was burnt. Overall...we were there over an hour....and I never received my meal. Had to wait almost 10 minutes for our bill too. A meal I should not have been asked to pay for. And the waitresses never communicated that there was any kind of issue until she tried justifying the long wait after we told her we were leaving. NEVER RETURNING and warning EVERYONE not to go. The only reason they are in business is because they get unsuspecting travelers off of i-70.
Have eaten here many times. Consistently good food. My last visit I had the shrimp tacos and the were absolutely delicious. I love the Frontier potatoes. Camille is a really great server!
We enjoyed our experience here. Also, our baby spilled a Coke and they were very gracious.
Portions are gynormous. Great quality food, old home town feel great staff
Good food and service, the flys were a nuisance though.
We loved this place!! They have amazing prime rib and burgers!! We found this place on a whim and didn't check anything before trying it just looked at the menu online and we were super surprised at how amazing it was! Our waitress was super sweet and attentive as well!
My favorite place to eat! Wonderful service with great food and cozy atmosphere. Ask for Lacy, she's the best!
Flew in on a small plane with the family. We like to hit local places to eat in small towns. R&R has the small down, big diner feel. We were seated quickly and tended to well. I got the 1/2 rack of ribs and it was enough for me. The ribs fell off the bone. The bbq sauce was a good blend of sweet, smoky, and spicy. The napkins shred like wet TP on cement though, so get a few. The Mrs got strawberry chicken salad, and couldn't finish it. -1 star for the Kraft Mac-N-Cheese for the kids menu. If they're going to go all out with the homemade stuff (which was great) why can't they whip up a homemade Mac-n-cheese? I would certainly come again. Food was fast and delicious. The table next to us was LOUD though. In the bright side, I'm now filled in on the goings on of the royal family and barrel racing.
Stayed ten minutes got no service, people were sat down after myself and my family, got there orders before my family did. Got up and walked out
Very nice staff and great meal choices as well as prices.
Great food a good service. Sat outside and it couldn't have been better.
Loved this place food is great! Service even better!
Great Service, Excellent Food very reasonable price. We will be back.
Such a pleasant surprise to find this gem during a road trip with my kids. Our waitress was so nice and welcoming, felt like we just walked in her home for supper. She had mentioned that she had driven in from Las Vegas as we did, and immediately started her shift. Couldn t even tell she was so nice to myself and two children and was right there when we needed something. The food tasted so homemade and delicious, and the dinner bread was to die for. We will be back!!
Quaint place. Food was home cooked. Locals visit here a lot.
Bad.always a problem here when i order chicken fried chicken skillet. I ask them not to bring me chicken fried Steak i told them very clear 3 times NO chicken fried STEAK. AN THEY BRING ME WHAT I DIDNT WANTED. Cook comes out an argues with me that they dont have crispy chicken. Really i can go in my fridge an make it an im not a restaurant. I had that plate Their over 15 times in the last 2/3 year's. No Bueno!
Thinking it was going to be really good food because the atmosphere and their name totally deceives you food was a2 at best everything was frozen type food and it was dumb
The waitress was very nice and attentive, my food was horrible. I had the Fish & Chips and could not finish them. They were soggy and limp. What was left of my wife s dinner salad was crisp and fresh.
Great place and good food , left my credit card at the table came back later, just fine. Real good people!!!!!!!!!!
A welcome change from chain eateries in rural Utah. We make this drive a few times each year and won't hesitate to stop here again.
BBQ on the road. An interestingly looking building, both outside and inside. Good food.
Stopped in for breakfast and was very pleasantly surprised! Coffee was decent, French toast was hearty and delicious, pancakes were good (but not standard tasting- lots of vanilla?), and the best omelette I've had at a restaurant in a long time! Pleasant waitstaff. Truly a diamond in the rough!
Overall wonderful experience. Steak was perfectly cooked very juicy service was excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant if in the Richfield area.
Great food and service. Left with our bellies full.
Had a work party here. Very well done food. The prime rib was done perfectly. Very good cordon blue
My preferred place for delicious american food. Really nothing but great experiences here, so I will be back.
I enjoyed the environment and the quality of the food, I had the All-American breakfast it was absolutely delicious! The service was exceptional.
Kitchen forgot a few things but the food and service was great!
We decided to try this restaurant bc the reviews seemed pretty good. Our waitress was so nice and very informative of the menu. My husband had the 8oz Ribeye and French fries bc they won't give a Baked Potato at lunch. Baked Potato are only during Dinner. I had the Grilled Chicken Porta Bella Mushroom and Fettuccini plate w/side Salad. I was very pleased with my plate but my husband was not happy with his Ribeye, it didn't seamed to be Flame Grilled and it was small for the Price and it had Way Too Much Fat on it. Don't expect a Really good Steak when you get it bc it won't be. They seem to pan cook them or fry them, I hope not but that is the way it looks. Nice people and Restaurant though but Pricey.
We waited a while to have our order taken then it took forever to get to BLTs and fries I had one and a half pieces of bacon on my entire BLT sandwich and my fries were cold. Then after waiting and waiting finally my husband said something and they eventually brought our check. A little B with the BLT would have been nice. Not our favorite place
Stopped in while traveling yesterday. Thought the menu had a really good selection for both meat eaters and herbivores. Several salads were available as well as a salad bar. I ordered fajitas with no meat and Toni (the waitress) didn't bat an eye. All our food was brought out promptly and with a smile. Should we pass through Richfield, I will eat here again! Great service Toni thank you :)
I come to Richfield twice a year for work, and every time I've come I've ate at Frontier Village.I have never been disappointed the service is great, the food is fantastic, and I highly recommend
Best lemonade I have ever had and the customer service is awesome.
Very Good food. Very Good service. Good prices. Nice decor. I have never seen the place busy and have no idea why they are not packed all the time. Update - prices a bit high. Breakfast $7 - $17 (steak and eggs) burgers $8.50 - $10.50. Dinners $17 for chiicken entrees to $23 for 16oz ribeye entree. Soda $2.30
Excellent steaks and very good service! I will definitely eat there again.
We really enjoyed the food. Burgers were delicious and service was good.
Food was good...waited at a table in the back corner for 15 minutes before a waitress came and I quote (oh I'm so sorry I didn't know you guys were here )after she looked our direction...not to happy......
Nice, casual restaurant. Good food. Reasonable prices.
Food pretty good an right across street from flying J. Right off freeway too.
Extremely limited vegetarian options. Usually I just order breakfast food at places like this, but this is one of the only restaurants left in the US that still has limited breakfast hours. I just got the loaded fries minus bacon. This paltry dish cost a staggering 8 bucks.
Food is good but cooks are very slow, 3 stars for waitresses 1 for the cooks
