We have an unfortunate history of picking roadside...

We have an unfortunate history of picking roadside diners that coincide with birthdays that turn out to be the worst restaurants we've ever eaten at. We were on a roadtrip from Vegas and decided to try Frontier Village, and braced ourselves for the experience.

Our fears were completely unfounded for Frontier Village. The dining area was very clean and the waiters were attentive. The service was fast, and the food was really good! We had the fajita salad and the taco salad, and they were both good in their own right. The fajita salad had steak that was tasty, and the taco salad had a crispy shell and flavorful beef. My only nitpicks might be that black beans on the salad would be less heavy than the pinto beans in the center of the taco salad, and the raspberry vinaigrette dressing was a little syrupy.

Still, we were very impressed and will stop again when we're passing through.
