Frontier Village Restaurant and Lounge Review

Breakfast was awesome! Service was great. Really nice place to eat.

We love this restaurant. Their frontier potatoes, fish and chips, and prime rib sandwich are our go to order. Clean and great service.

Well to be honest I am very disappointed in the Frontier Village. Other experiences I have had here have been good this trip however was not. My son told me that he stopped last Saturday and was very disappointed. We stopped today on our way back through and I must say I too was very disappointed. The quality has deteriorated the service was terrible. We received our drinks and our food and the waitress never came back to check our drinks again. We had to go ask for our check. I don't know when they went to homemade fries but that was a huge mistake those are the greasiest nastiest things I've had in a long time. Hopefully some changes take place or this place is not going to last very long with the current situation of things

As always, dinner was great. We were greeted and treated like family.

Too busy for their staff to handle on a Friday night. Hour long wait for food, then it was mostly cold (like you couldn't melt butter on the corn on the cob) when it arrived. Frontier potatoes look like they might be good if they were hot and fully cooked. Good sized portions, a little too big on the soup sides. Hated to waste the food but a cup would have been sufficient. Mediocre food out of the five dishes our party tried.

Oh and they ran out of one dish but didn't inform us until 30 minutes after ordering.

The wait at Steve's would have been a better idea.

Good food and good service. I like it will come back when through the area.

Tips for eating here.
1. Don't share the food that you paid for with loved ones.
2. Your waitress is always right don't argue you'll be there awhile.
My wife gave me the rest of her salad, the waitress had a fit about me not ordering a salad in front of other customers, made a huge ordeal out of nothing.
Food like service, not great.

Cute little unassuming place. We had the soup and salad bar and the Portobello mushroom chicken. Really good food and large portions. Friendly staff and reasonably priced.

We went here for breakfast. Our service was good,but our food mostly cold,with the eggs being the only warm part.

The baked beans were amazing! Like... I never care about beans, but I'm home now and want more.

We had a very nice experience at this restaurant. The waitress was very friendly and even helped us with our dietary orders. The food came out quickly and it was really very good. It came out hot and again our waitress was extremely accommodating.
The only thing I did not like was that our table was not wiped down properly and it was very wobbly.

Great food and great service, is right off the freeway and next to some hotels.

Service was good food was flavorless I get the feeling alot of people enjoy the food here my husband and I were very disappointed seasonings would do wonders for this place

The service left a lot to be desired, our waitress barley acknowledged us, once she finally came over we waited about 25 min for our sandwiches. Mine tasted fine my husband s was not so good. Not to mention the restaurant itself was so unbearably hot.

Good home made food and very friendly waitresses. Got the chicken fried steak baked beans and mash potatoes and fresh bread loaf. Was so tender and the prices are reasonable spent around 25.00 for my meal and my sons meal.

Sat over 30 min and waitress looked at us multiple times and never took our order. Took 3 other pols orders that came in after we did. Table next to us kept having trouble with their orders and when we got up to leave they said "I don't blame you". Not good service at all. I wouldn't have given even 1star but had to pick one.

Ordered a seafood creation salad and it barely has any seafood. More like a $2 salad. Worst salad I ve ever had

Its pretty average, the salad bar was out if lettuce for over an hour. They only had one soup and for a soup and salad bar, that's not great. Food was ok. But the outside seating option was nice.

I had to give R&R 3 stars because of the first part if our visit. We walked in as a party of 13. The waitress took this info, but didn't put us on the list and then ignored us for the next hour and a half. We watched several parties walk in, wait, but then walk out because they weren't acknowledged. Eventually we were seated and things improved.
I would give the last half of our experience 5 stars. Amber was our waitress and she was quick, cheerful, and apologetic. The food was hot and delicious. Props to Amber...she deserves stars!

I read reviews and thought shoot it seems like a nice place !!! got seated and after about 15 min numorous waitrieses walking by ,not one even looked in my direction. 3 of them were cleaning the table across from me and still dident even stop to ask if i wanted a drink .. so i finally got up and walked out and went and got a burger at the truck stop. I stop trough here 2 times a week And thought ill give it a try ..well i definitely will not try that place again.

I don't say this often, but I suggest a fast food chain over this place. The food is most likely fresher. The saving grace, although it seemed forced, was the friendliness of the wait staff. Kudos to them serving the frozen food with a smile!

Good food for our dinner. The waitress is very friendly.

Went for breakfast since we had not been there for awhile, had the meat lovers skillet with very little meat, very dry and a lot of potatoes it should have been called the potato skillet. I'm reminded why we haven't been there for along time and never again.

The food was good and ive been there a few times ill come again. But today I have to give just 1 stars because one thing we ordered was the Onion blossom and that was a total disaster! The batter must have been done wrong. Every time we tried to take a piece of onion the batter fell off. Literally every piece. We were left with just onion no batter. It was unbelievable. We gave up after a few bites and were left with a pile of onions and crumbled batter. Ill never buy that again.

Love there steak with sauteed mushrooms and onion I reccomend it to everyone

Usually a good place to grab breakfast when I'm in town. Today however was a different story, the food was just off, it was lukewarm at best. Our hash browns were some kind of weird consistency between hashbrowns and grits. Over all just not the norm.

Great service and love the homey feel. Food was ok but will give it another try. Has truck parking for customers only so big plus for drivers.

American food and the atmosphere at this spot is great. The staff was very sociable and kind. It has a good interior.

This place was AMAZING! We are visiting and wanted a good home cooked meal and the exceeded our expectations! Everyone got something different and it was all amazing. Fresh, hot, delicious. Thank you Frontier Village!

The food was good. The service was a little slow but they were busy. I would go back. Easy stop while traveling through.

Everything was less than you'd expect from a restaurant, and more what you'd expect from someone who doesn't like to cook. The mashed potatoes weren't seasoned, the gravy tasted like it came out of a packet. The buns came from Wal-Mart. I got approximately 5 slices of mushrooms, poured in a line across my burger. For the price I paid for it, I definitely should have at least gotten enough to have a mushroom in every 4th bite! Someone at the table got a salad and said it was good. Everyone else said we could have done a lot better at home. Disappointing.

They have the best customer service! The food is always very delicious. It's always such a great restaurant to go to, so relaxing and friendly.

Loved the food here. Had the country fried steak with mashed potatoes. Gravy was like a spicy biscuit gravy(white) and was excellent. Service was great and if you can deal with the higher prices and are just looking for a good meal I highly recommend.

Food is mediocre and the locals aren't much better. Would suggest going further in town but not horrible for being right off interstate.

I know its probably because I'm young but its super frustrating going into a restaurant, like this one, and watching them serve every other person except me. I waited over 20 minutes just to get my order placed. Its one thing if they are busy, but It's a small restaurant and I watched a bunch of other people order before me (that walked in after me..). Also their menu is outdated online, the food I wanted was not on there, that showed online. In addition, on the menu it clearly showed that the dinners came with a soup or salad, potato, and choice of side (my meal right was underneath the text). For some reason, she told me I could only order a soup or salad. The meal was good, but at the end she did not ask me if I wanted desert. She just handed me the check. (Mind you everyone else was asked).

I had fish and chips with a house salad and coffee to drink first time here and I have to say EVERYTHING WAS GREAT no complaints from me not even the price. The waitress was very nice. I will be coming back many times. I think next time I will try the breakfast.

Had some great food right off the exit! The chicken cordon blue was made with fresh pounded chicken and tavern ham smothered in Alfredo! The service was fantastic!

Service was slow, however the food was very good and worth the time. Servers are very nice.
