Family & local movie theater, great recliner seats, give jobs to our kids, cool concession, reasonable prices for anyone, military & seniors discounts and recently with a rewards program that makes it exciting.
I just saw 4 movies in St. Louis. I didn't experience anything close to the friendly customer service or the excellent seating available at "The Picture Show" in Prescott. I've seen 10+ movies here and will continue doing so. When will you build another one? Keep up the good work!
Great theater, comfy and assigned seats so no surprises when you get in.
This place has small theaters which may make seeing new movies somewhat difficult. Otherwise it has a homey feel. The seating reclines and is very comfortable.
Other than the very confusing way to the parking it's a nice place
Cool chairs quite enviroment good shows I like it better than harkins in p.v.
Picture show is by far the best theatre to go to in the Prescott area it's seats are crazy comfortable and service is amazing
I like coming here to watch movies because not only do they serve beer, but they also have pre self-selected seating that has recliners and much more room than a normal, cramped theater. I'm used to it now, but this place is not in the best of locations, being behind a shopping center.
Show was good seats were comfortable but drinks, food and pop corn were pricey.
We love the seats. My husband won't go anywhere else.
Staff is always helpful. However, I've complained to management and to their corporate regarding an infestation in several of the theatres of both moths and an occasional mouse. Nothing seems to have been done.
Also, they need to repair or replace a large percentage of their reclining seats, due to severe damage, mainly of the headrest areas. It's very unsanitary.
Big chairs, great veiw of the screen and no crowd. Monday matinee.
Many more people at the movies today. The seating is limited according to covid requirements. Happy to see people coming back to enjoy sharing the movie experience together.
Awesome seating, reclining chairs are the best. Popcorn is okay. My kids love the $5 box and the pizza and nachos. Sound is great! Handicap seating is pretty good. Seats are assigned, so go early if you want the "prime" spots in the middle of the rows. The computers won't allow you to leave one empty seat in between your group and the next, but if it's not a full house, the staff don't seem to care if you move.
Always pleased. Comfortable seats, respectful staff. Any day over Harkens.
If your visiting or living in Prescott this is definitely the best movie theater to go too. From the comfy reclining chairs to the awesome popcorn this place is the best theater I've been too thus far. They have several amenities to choose from including a bar. The screen they show movies on is huge i could literally spend a whole day here just watching movies, so comfy, clean, and great friendly customer service.
I love coming here seats are comfy, mobile kiosks to buy your ticket with reserved seating and food is decent with self serve butter salt station ,staff are courteous
The only downside I have a problem with is after the movie trailers play they have a picture show advertising their unreasonable long animation eating drinking concessions to purchase for soda/popcorn/candy which is directly before the movie starts...
Like I feel it's a badly forced advertisement that prolonging movie times
I feel everyone already has purchased before entering the theatre
Please remove it lol
Your amazing
Love the theater...however, both times I attended it wasn't very clean...popcorn and dirty carpet...not attractive. We attended the first show and didn't notice I real desire to clean the place spoke to the gal next to me she shared my opinion...will lose customers long term if standards are not kept up
Picture was clear and quality. Service, friendly and authentic. You can tell the staff is happy to work there. The reclining seats go without saying. . . Always love my experience at 'Picture Show'.
Great reclining seats (they are showing some wear and tear but still very comfy and functional) good theater sound quality. Concessions are normal theater prices and offer unique snacks like mini corn dogs, fries and hard scoop ice cream.
I really enjoy going to the movies at this location. Like the other reviewers have said the seating is great with recliners and I like that they have assigned seating. If screen size is important to you then you might not like them, they are smaller then many other theaters, I however don't have an issue with that. Overall this is a great place to catch the latest movies.
Its a girls day out when we go to the Picture Show..its so much nicer than many facilities we have gone to in California. Its our fave thing to do in Prescott and if you're first time visitor, you can bet you will be back! - Mom and Daughter
A nice theatre, and the food is reasonable. The seats are the best.
Lounge style seating!! Very rare to find comfortable seating in a multiplex theater. Location of theater is secluded but still close to restaraunts and stores. For a multiplex style theater, Picture Show theater is rather small, but with the lounge chair seating its worth the trip.
Good movie! I love the reclining seats! Ordered tickets from the website, picked them up inside, no lines, no issues.
Saw "Book Club". Wonderful movie, so entertaining that I wasn't even tempted to fall asleep in the too-comfortable recliners!
Date night went and seen the joker what a awesome movie!!!
Big comfortable seats, reasonable ticket prices and cheaper than average concessions
Great theater. Just seems that they are sometimes under-staffed.
Extremely hot and uncomfortable last couple times we have visited. Used to be our favorite theater
Cute small theater house. Liked ordering the tickets on my own in the front just wish they would have added more better to the popcorn.
Best movie theatre in the prescott area. Reclining seats are so awesome. However this place is always packed because it's so small.
Fun place to go. Busier than I thought, but not over crowded. Nice to have a good group for a movie. Different way to order food and movies with the touch screen, but I think more efficient. Go behind the stores in the strip mall at the top of the hill. This should make it easier to find.
Great attitude and friendly service. Awesome seating
This isn't just a great local theater, it's a great theater period. Plenty of parking, convenient ticketing, friendly service and comfortable seating.
Reclining chairs are nice, i wish the middle part came up though we like to cuddle up during the movie
Totally awesome compared to other boring theaters. You can get your food fix, drinks, and an awesome seat all for 20$. The movie is usually good too. :)
VERY comfortable, reasonable prices, except popcorn & drinks...wow. Not as bad as Phoenix however
Great seating - good quality projection. Serve food, beer and wine. Didyhave any so not sure what it is like
Nice seating...some of the seating need to have the upholstery repaired. Otherwise a very nice venue.
The staff is always really friendly, the lines moves incredibly quickly and seats are amazing!! So comfortable! But dont forget to bring a jacket because the theater is always freezing!
My favorite theater in town. Seats are comfortable, and spaced perfectly so I can lean back not be in the lap or blocking the view of the person behind me. I like reserving my seats, I hated it at first, but now I love it. I've made reservation mistakes and they have helped me every time in a professional and kind manor.
I used to love going to Picture Show for their reclining seats and awesome snack bar selection as well as low prices, until I found out they had assigned seating. I don't understand how entire rows are "sold out" but there are three people in addition to myself in the theater from start to finish. This is a very horrible practice for every day movies. I could see if it was a highly anticipated blockbuster premier on opening day, but the movie I saw came out almost a month ago. Get rid of assigned seating for old releases. It's annoying. I'd rather drive to PV and sacrifice comfort at Harkins knowing that I could choose wherever I wanted to sit. Instead I get to compete with seats reserved for online sales that never get sold that I can't buy because I choose to walk in on a whim and see a movie. Another annoying thing is they always put the quietest movie in the theater next to the loudest movie ever made. I'm trying to listen to the dialog, not the bass of the action scene in the movie next door. This has happened the last 3 times I've gone.
Love the recliner chairs! You can buy your tickets early and choose the seats you want with out showing up super early.
Great place to watch a movie. They have reclining chairs and one day a week it's only 5 dollars to get in. Only place I'll go since I found it.
First time we went was not great, liquor is expensive and there was someone who came in halfway through the movie with 2 very disruptive children. We got 2 free passes and came back last night, first they were having an issue with our kind of card company so we couldn't buy drinks. We were then told we couldn't use our passes for movies that were still fairly new to the theater we left right after.
Love the seats good popcorn, lots of snacks and hamburgers and hotdogs.
We loved this movie theater. The recliners were so awesome. We laid back with our feet up and had the best movie experience ever. We don't want to go anywhere else! The concessions were amazing too. They even serve wine and beer!
Anytime I'm in prescott I always check out a flick at the Picture Show. Big comfy recliner seats. Full bar and tons of food options other than traditional theatre fare.
best screen quality, sound. great reclining leather seats. even great snack bar prices. beer and wine for evening films
like it better than Harkins. close to home too.
Short Review: Plush premium leather seats with electronic reclining. Beer and wine served. Reasonably prices and even cheap concession food. Great customer service. Will return frequently.
Long Review:
Just moved to Prescott. We had a large group of friends visiting from Flagstaff, so we took everyone to see the new X-Men movie. We followed advice and got there early (about 45 mins) to get seats for everyone.
The seats are a luxury. Plush, squishy and leather with electric reclining. What a great contrast to Harkins where you can't get comfortable and have to climb over everyone to get out to the lobby. Add the fact that they have a bar. Wine and beer with my movie? Heck yes. That would be enough alone, but the food prices are extremely reasonable. Hotdogs were a dollar each.
The final star is for great service. I had a spectacular conversation with the bartender and every employee I interacted with. Spectacular. My Flagstaff friends say they are now ruined for movies. I had been avoiding them in Flagstaff because I hated Harkins. With my recent move to Prescott though, I will be returning to the Picture Show frequently.
My friends wanted to add to this: a number of them said they rarely buy concessions at the movies. Because of the spectacular experience though, they gladly loaded up on popcorn, beer, and treats.
The most comfortable seats in ANY theater. And a bar
This place is aces! Big comfy recliners to sit in and great sound quality. You can butter your own popcorn and they offer a number of seasonings for every taste. You can also purchase your tickets in advance with assigned seating. It is an unique experience. They are located towards the back of a busy shopping mall, so they are a little tricky to find. It is worth it. They have a terrific concession stand, and the staff is very pleasant there. The remaining staff is hit and miss, but they don't detract from a good movie and snacks. Once you sink down in a roomy, cushy recliner, you won't care. There isn't a bad seat in the house, so you really can't go wrong. The experience will stay with you long after the movie is over!
The last movie theater I will use. This place is great.
Get some new chairs, they are crusty and they arent tall enough and it feels like you are about to break your neck. The service is not good and the theatre is dirty in general...CLEAN IT!!!
It's not a VIP theater but easily one of the best I've been to. Great staff, clean, good sound systems. Comfortable chairs and the snack bar is great.
Great place to watch a movie. The recliners are comfortable. Being able to have a beer while watching a movie was nice. The only complaint I have is the fact it can be confusing about how to buy tickets. Normally at other theatres, you buy a ticket then enter. Here you walk in and try to find where to get them. This can be difficult if the concessions are busy since the lines tend to meld together causing further confusion. But we will definitely go watch future movies there.
Comfortable seating, good little small town theatre
Went to watch a movie, 3rd time was the charm. Projectionist fell asleep. Started the previews then played a totally different movie, then restarted, another set of previews then stopped. Then pushed 0lay on our movie. After the movie was given a free pass for another showing. But first impressions only get one chance. Why is this theater so far off the road and behind everything?
I feel it is much more comfortable, and relaxing. If you want a burger or hot dog you can get it. You want wine or beer you can have that to
