Egg Foo Young was excellent, terrific won ton soup. Tried the Shrimp and Pepper, it's supposed to be hot, it wasn't, but it was tasty.

I've been going to fried rice express for years now, and recently they hired a new cashier. He is not that great, and out of the last few times I've been there, he has messed up my orders by mixing up the chicken with shrimp.

Tip: if the short dude is working the cashier, double check the order didn't mess up!!!

Food is always fresh. I order the triple delight has shrimp,beef and chicken. Excellent flavor. Fried rice is excellent. Last but not least egg rolls very good.

Love their fresh ingredients, not a typical chinese take out, my friends love their shrimp fried rice, I love the vegetables fried rice

Loved this place. Their lunch menu is so cheap and you get drinks with it. The quantity is huge. Quality is not the best but for the price is definitely good. Great customer service too.

I celebrated my PhD last night in this delicious restaurant. happy to tell that we had a fine evening and the place was no doubt one of the reasons for this successful event. The team collaborated in a sweet manner, the cooking was very good and my friends were so cheerful. We shall definitely come back again for more events. Thank you very much.

The food is average at best, facility doesn t seem too clean but the pricing was good. I love that they have a lunch special, and I also love how much they offer. The food came out really quick as well, and that's always important (especially when you're starving). My only gripe is the interior of the place, but it's take out, you can't expect too much.

Worst place ever they didn't bring my fried rice I ordered instead they brought me white. Then told me if I wanted fried I had to come to the store even though I ordered it. Worst customer service and there food has no taste.

I call this outstanding restaurant many times because I enjoy the special air that is outline this place. The personel is very friendly and experienced. The service is extremely quick. Also, the food you get is exceptionaly good. I visited many times and I was always satisfied. The rate is fair. I highly suggest this place to all my friends.

It s just not the same anymore, I used to love this place. I ordered shrimp lo mein and it wasn t made with traditional lo mein noodles, they used thinner noodles and the amount of sauce made it a soggy mess. The egg foo young tasted burnt, the seafood fried rice had ham in it and the egg rolls are just blah. The staff is always nice and the service is quick but with the prices having gone up and quality/taste of the food gone down I m sad to say I won t be ordering from them again.

Food seems great. But eating it would be better accomplished if I had PLASTIC WARE!

Zero! If I could give zero, I would. TERRIBLE! I just placed an order online (12/22/2018), received an email confirmation with expected delivery at 6:02pm. At 6:10pm, I called the restaurant and the order was never received. You are responsible monitoring orders! First time ordering and will definitely be my last. Owner thought it was funny and could not care less about a potential long time customer. Terrible!

Just finished a lunch special and couldn't be happier! The food taste AMAZING! The size of the lunch special is great and the price is cheap. I was a regular at a place a block from home but will definitely be a regular here and go the distance because it's worth it 20X over!

Authentic and great tasting fried rice. Many choices with different flavors and ingredients. Make sure to check out their list of Specialties Fried Rice in addition to the regular list. Other dishes are excellent too, such as the Thai Fragrant Fish. Owner is very friendly. Price is very affordable as well.

Me and my mom went here for lunch and the food had no taste. I really wanted to like it but the after affect of which it did to my stomach have made it impossible. Please don't eat here if you want good food.

I love this place so much! Their lunch special is honestly the BEST THING EVER. It's super cheap and the proportions are indescribably HUGE. I had enough for lunch and dinner the next day after eating a bunch in the restaurant. Not only is it huge, but it's delicious too! Definitely my number one from now on.

Mr. Lee is the best owner, he is so hard working and so nice! I have been coming here for years and the food is amazing. Portions size I big compared to any other restaurant and the staff is great and super friendly:)!

I am going to give the place a two; first time coming in to this place, so disappointing. We ordered crab Rangoon and my friend got food poisoning from it. Sitting at the hospital at the moment with him with severe dehydration from the puking and bad cramping...this all happened 30 mins from consuming them. Began with vomiting along with bad cramping and . Staff was really nice; but they need to have that kitchen inspected!

Can't complain about the employees here at all! Delivery is usually on point! Nothing to complain about the food either. Consistently good food on every order.

I finally found some fried rice that I can eat, made to order, that doesn't creep me out. Call me simple but it took me 5 long years in Chicago to find this tasty spot.

If you want the best experience. Do not order for delivery when the new guy cashier is there. He has messed up my order and messed up my coupons.. I'm due 5 coupons and only got 2. I love the food and Mr. li has always been awesome but he needs someone with more attention to detail. I called to add crab ragoons and got pot stickers. My receipt said pot stickers.by the time the crab ragoons got here the food was already cold..:'( very disappointed in the past two experiences with delivery services. Just fine in and save yourself the headache.

If I could give this place more stars, I would. I love this place. It is by far my favorite place to eat. The food is always good and fresh. The size of the meals are great.

Ordered from here for pickup since it was close the hospital I was getting chemo at. It had good reveiws so I figured why not? All of the food was good except for the one thing I wabted the most. The crab rangoon tastes horrible, as if for some reason they added chicken bouillon powder to the cream cheese. The first bite made me nauseous and I had gotten two orders of it. Thats $10 wasted.

Stop by for lunch . First time and i will be a repeat customer. Great portion ,taste . Def recommend

FRE is a typical "American" Chinese place. That said, it's a pretty reliable choice for what it is. Decent eggrolls. Big portions. Lunch/Dinner specials are a good bargain. I like that they hire neighborhood teens to man the counter/phone and do deliveries.

I was honestly disappointed. The reviews made me think this place would be delicious but it really wasn t. The fried rice was decent but the orange chicken was too sweet and the crab rangoons tasted weird, like a combination of too much garlic and the Rangoon being fried with other foods (also kind of tasted like egg rolls). The amount of food was good for the price, but the quality was bad. I don t plan to come back here as I haven t even had half my meal and my stomach already hurts.

This place is literally the best Chinese food I have ever had, no complaints whatsoever highly recommend.

Had a great experience in here with my son. The food came rapidly and the service is just awesome. Prices are reasonable.

My wife was ordering from the front desk and the cashier was dropping stuff and talking down to my wife in a negative tone when she asked how much it would be. He was short and had blonde hair. Very very rude.

I called about a week ago to place a order for pick up & I ordered a large combination fried rice with extra meat(shrimp, chicken & beef) & the guy tells me it's extra charge $3.00 for the chicken, $3.00 beef, $3.00 shrimp so I tell they guy so you telling me it's $9.00 + the price for the rice, I told him forget it, cancel the order. So I gave it a 2nd try again today & ordered 2 large combination fried rice normal but damn when I got home to eat the rice, it was about 95% all rice & I was like where's the chicken, beef & shrimp. So I tell myself, that's it....not going there anymore. Waste of money.

The Chinese food provided by this small restaurant is much better than anywhere I know of around here in the Northwest part of Chicago. Price is suitable for the quality of food sold. Must visit!

Good food, cheap prices. Fried rice was pretty good and very very plentiful in the lunch special. Chicken was not good reheated the next day!

My first time and last time eating at this place. I don't understand how this place has 4.0 on the reviews. Wow the food is greasy the fry rice is one of the worst I ever had.

I heard good news about this restaurant;however, when I visited the resident the food was so gross. I will never recommend anyone to visit this place ; please save your money before you even think about stepping foot on the inside.

I live a mile away. It took 2 hours to get here, and than the ghetto fabulous driver gave me attitude about accepting payment. She informed me that "like da last time we didn't even charge you" well considering last time it took 2.5 hours to get here, yall should have paid me. This place should change its name to fried rice sometime in the next few years, maybe.

We order from here quite often. The food comes out fast and it's a fairly good value. People that work here quite friendly and there's easy parking right outside on Higgins. You do have to pay for meters but that's just the way things work in Chicago

Food was good. Much better quality than of any other Chinese places that I have eaten.

I'd like to say this Resturant has good quality but recently they have had a new cashier, He's messed up a lot of the time and got my order of chicken Fried rice wrong by putting in shrimp, while I justified that it was Chicken to him multiple times after he asked. I'm not going to complain about the whole resturant since there other Cashier is really quick and polite.

The one star is for getting my order right, but the food was not good. No flavor at all.
