Foods a bit pricey but other than that, it's a good tine

Great place for everyone. We always have a good experience when we go!

I try to come here Everytime I visit my family in Fresno. I absolutely love this zoo, the animals truely looked happy and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful to us last time we went. We only had about an hour so the woman at the ticket booth gave some suggestions on what to do with that hour to make the most of it.

Wonderfully maintained area that's beautifully landscaped. Nice surroundings. Dogs love it!

Great experience considering the circumstances. Very clean and not super crowded right now. It was nice to get out and spend some time with the family in a fun setting. Also, the Zoorasic Park exhibit is cool.

They let way to many people inside sure everyone had a mask but it was crowded and the petting zoo was not open and you had to wait in line to get in and wait in line to feed the giraffe wait in line to eat way over priced food . I left after 1 hour being there .

Since remodeling, very nice job. Proud of our zoo. Will return for years to come. Nice change. Nice spot. Cool employees as of today.

There's a lot of improvements to the Zoo, been a member for years, happy to see the changes.

A lot of care has gone to this zoo. It was just OK years ago, now it is very nice and clean. The African Adventure is amazing.

Love it and cheap admission. Better place to take your kids than a movie.... And cheaper

I am a volunteer at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo and I feed the animals in the program room.

We love the Fresno chaffee zoo we actually had a zoo membership there that we have to renew soon. Great place to hang out for the day. The cafe and restaurant area is nice. Our favorite thing to order is chicken tenders with fries! My kids love it there.

As an animal lover, it's nice to see these guys up close. I just wish the location wasn't barricaded with a $10 parking fee, the zoo and stores are already expensive enough.

I haven't been to the Chaffee Zoo in about 20 yrs. I loved it. The make over on the zoo is BEAUTIFUL!

We went there as a family and everyone really enjoyed it. I particularly loved the African exhibit. We loved that all the animals were relatively easy to see too. The zoo is fairly small compared to other zoos I've visited, but it really is a great place to visit.

The park is beautiful, has a lot of space, children and puppies have a lot of fun. Well, we all have fun. The only thing that worries me is that I saw homeless people.

Had an amazing time! Staff was amazing and stopped to talk to my children (6 and 4) and answered all their questions (even if there was not an animal talk happening). So clean also.

Great family place. Love the temporary dinosaur exhibit.

We love that we can do the whole zoo in one day, although we usually don't. They are always adding new exhibits and updating/upgrading. The people giving the zoo talks are always so patient with my dons many questions.

Updating from my last review: Me & my family have been very loyal member's for many year but after today, I don't think I'll be renewing any time soon. This last visit was the worst experience we've had.

The bird show was amazing, I would definitely go back.

We love the zoo. Since they opened up the Safari exhibit a few years ago we really look forward to going. You can spend all day here and not get bored.

We had a great time lots of food to choose from ,it was very clean,and the animals were very well kept,and seemed very content There was lots of shade and places to rest all I'm all We gave it 5stars out of 5 ..,

No animals very few of them kid's wanted to see more.....

Most of the safari animals and sea lion/seal habitat had a decent sized enclosures. Some of the other animal enclosures appeared to be far too small for the animals. The orangutan seemed incredibly depressed and looked to be lonely. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely something you could do in one day.

A really fun experience. The food at the newer buffet restauraunt is amazing. My only wish is that they had penguins and Arctic animals.

Such a great day to break away from the COVID madness. Park was super clean, lots of animals out and about to see. Didn t have to search for them... even in the hot part of the day! The layout of the park provides LOTS of shade throughout, for the animals and the guests. The habitats are well cared for and staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful!! They are at every turn ready to assist. We didn t realize we could take our own food and snacks on so we were prepared to pay outrages prices for food. To our delight, prices were really reasonable; 4 of us ate a beautiful healthy lunch for $48, including drinks!! The Zoo is taking the precautions as directed by the state, so just 2-3 areas require a mask. Overall it was a great visit!! Will definitely return!

You got to have more training & shows going on than just The Bird Show all the time that's the same old thing I seen since I was young and what happened to all of those little guide boxes/digital educational boxes throughout the park. Yeah, they would read to you the information and give you a lot of cool info & details about the animals. I think for the most part that if y'all get a tiger show going on it would be awesome & attract more people from out of state & around-the-world even!

Good zoo. Nice new open safari spot too. Was a bit crowded for zoo boo event.

The dog park is nice here and if you already have a parking pass you don t have to keep paying $5 every time to park. Annual Park Passes can be purchased for $50 from the SP+ office in downtown Fresno and they are good for Roeding and Woodward park. You can use them for any of your vehicles too which is nice.

Had so much fun. Animals were beautiful. Staff was friendly and courteous, everything was clean. People social distanced and wore masks. Got to touch stingrays and a shark!

The zoo has great exhibits (the African Adventure exhibit is pretty incredible) and there are several fun events throughout the year (like the Ice Cream Zoofari). They've been working hard on it for the past several years and it shows.

Such a reasonable price zoo with the perfect amount of attractions for kids. We were visiting family from Seattle and we're very impressed with the food offerings and the zoo.

Had a great time. Havent gone since the new additions. It is nothing to what it was when I was just a boy. I was still in total Awwww!some!

It's a vey special place.. My hubby and i love going...

Kids loved it walked around for about 3 hours. Make sure you spray yourself with bug repellant. My baby got bites all over her legs.

Enjoyable, some construction going on. Always lots of fun for the kids.

Had a great time, spending our afternoon there for our 49th anniversary. Haven't been there in at least 20 years, except for hauling equipment in and out for Harris Construction. One thing that bothered me is that you have a major problem with a lot of dead trees and limbs that need to be taken care of. They are a major liability, not only to visitors, but the animals also. Great job, great place, not like I remembered at all. Bob and Patti Groh, Madera Ranchos.

Garbage everywhere. During the summer homeless sleep in the park. Fresno County doesn't clean the park very well.

Lots of animals. My kids love it. We go there all the time.

My family went and we all had a blast. There is something for all age groups. Loved the reptile house.

We love the zoo. We have a great digging for the dinosaurs parts. Great place to take your kids.
