Such a fun place for all ages! I took my parents and my daughter we all loved it!!

I try to go at least once a year since moving to the central valley. I love seeing the growth of the zoo. It is a great zoo

I was fascinated my family had fun and learned a lot about the animals

They have put a lot of work into updating a lot of the enclosure. I love the Africa theme where it seems the animals enjoy an almost home feel.

I love the elephants. It was great all animals were out.

Love the cafe there that overlooks the African exhibit. My 2 year old son had so much fun feeding the elephants. Highly recommend. Not 5 stars because there weren't really any kiddie rides or activities.

Good place, a little pricey for food but it's decent. Fantastic day for cheap.

The new exhibits are amazing, I like how they are grouping the exhibits by geographical area.

It was a nice zoo, lots of renovation and very little parking.

Enjoyed that the focus was on learning to respect the animals.

What a beautiful park and the variety of animals that I have wonders, the most important thing is that by 2021 they plan to bring more animals. This place is fabulous

The customers service went down the drain. At the entrance and at sting ray bay you need better assistance... The food service was the only good service here and the zoorassic had also good customer service

Fresno Chaffee Zoo has improved over the years and I love the beautiful grounds and fun stingray pool that the kiddos can play and interact with. I am so happy that there have been so many wonderful renovations because I remember going to the zoo over 40 years ago as a child and it's nice to see it has improved over time unlike so many other childhood memories that are now long gone. Enjoy.

My dogs love the squirrels and ducks they just can't catch one lol

Wonderful place! The beautiful trees provide lovely shade and there is the addition of the new splash area for the kiddos making this a perfect summertime destination!

You can feed the giraffes for $3.00. Parking is $5.00, $3.00 for 65 and up. Free for under 2. The park is under construction, but other then that the park is nice. Havent been there since I was a kid.

I lived in San Diego (the world famous zoo) for a long spell, and even with that, I was still very pleased with Fresno's zoo. Many vivid colored animals I'd not seen before and such fun watching monkeys swing and carry the young ones. For eats, gluten free vegetarians can get a salad...but little else at the cafe near the safari. Nice way to spend a few hours.

I've never before experienced what I did today at the Fresno Zoo. The African experience, dining at lunch was outstanding!

It is really a quality zoo. I was pleasantly surprised. We had a great time.

I love this zoo. I love to see animals in larger encampments instead of cages.

Quite big. I'd recommend to spare at least 5 hours to really enjoy everything. Wish we didn't feel rushed when feeding the giraffes and wish they still had the gorillas. Loved the experience nonetheless!

The Splash Zone is a new and top attraction especially on those hot days walking the zoo

A bit smaller than some other zoo's I've visited, but I was very impressed. Enjoyable day spent with my son

Great time to go, no crowds animals are active. We had lunch near the giraffe feeding area French fries was a plentiful, Caesar salad was delicious.

Gotta visit their African adventure, their tropical birds, and the stingray bay, along with other awesome animals. A great learning experience for the little ones

Nice simple doggy park for your fur baby to just get out and run wild...
They have a water fountain for your doggy but make sure to bring poop bags for them.
Plus you can walk your doggy on a leash throughout Roeding park as well.

My family has been zoo members for the last few years and and will continue to be. All the staff is great and always have a great time

Love our zoo! New African Safari area is awesome! We love having lunch at the new restaurant and be able to watch the rhinos and other animals while we eat!

Always something new to see. It is very family friendly, clean, and fun.

As a child I was taken to the zoo a lot and now that I have a kid of my own I try to do the same. Sadly it doesn t feel as fun as it used to. The tiger is definitely in distress and it hurts my heart.
The new water park area is fun and of course the new African Adventure area is beautiful! The food is a tad overpriced but that s nothing out of the normal. Overall we have a great time! If my sons happy I m happy.

It was okay fair for a local zoo especially in the summer

I live near this zoo and it is the best zoo in the area and since the African exhibit opened it grew of me and my family to visit the zoo and I recommend to absolutely visit this zoo if you live in the Central Valley and visit if you're visiting the Central Valley.

Amazing zoo. If you haven't seen the new African exibit, then you need to go back to the zoo and check it out. You can get a close look at leopards, lions, and tigers. You can feed a giraffe, and walk around with kangaroos. It is an amazing zoo experience where the animals have a great environment to live in.

love their now semi new safari area. the old stuff is still good too. even though we live out of state now when we visit we like to hang out here. the new food area next to the safari area is a great place to sit relax enjoy food and watch wild animals

Beautiful zoo! The staff was friendly and the zoo landscaping was impressive. Altogether, it was a very positive and informative experience!

Very nice...some construction going on but overall a good zoo...wish they had gondola rides, bears and zebras...

Love Love Love this place! Went just last week and enjoyed everything immensely but the heat.

Honestly, the zoo is average, usually. On this time visiting, I saw the dinosaur exhibit, which was a nice change of pace. Also, word of advice, visit the seals and sea lions last, it's a great place to cool down in the heat and you can see under the water.

Being a Member, I don't ever have wait long. Show my pass, scan in, and adventure begins with my little crew.

We always eat at the Safari area. As a member, I get a discounts so I enjoy it. I don't wait too long for my food and portion is good size. Kids love the Mac N Cheese and I definitely love the portion of that. My most recent visit was about a month ago. I ordered extra fries like usual and this time I felt I got very little for the price I was paying. Normally the fries would be enough for 3 kids, however on that day, it only was enough for 2 kids out of the 5. I didn't say anything at the time since I gave my meal to the kids because they were hungry.

For that particular day, I give the trip to the Zoo a 3 star rather than a 4 star.

Took the grandbabies. Loved it. Can't wait to go again.
