It was clean lots to see the price was perfect for a middle class guy like my self. Yes bathroom needed to be updated but was clean only thing is I did not like was one employee that was just rude but it's whatever

It is so nice with all the new and ongoing improvements.

The zoo is so worth seeing my 1yr old daughter had so much fun especially at the petting zoo she loved seeing the goats up close and she loved feeding the giraffes

It was amazing and fun there and have amazing things there

All of their signs are in English and Spanish our family got to practice Spanish reading!

Loved this place have to go back soon. Grandchildren had the best time. Food was good to and not bad for the price.

This place was as fun as everyone told us it would be. We spent 5 hours here and it seemed like no time at all

Excellent small zoo. African section is great. Visit it early, because it has the least shade. Asia is very shady. Some very nice exhibits with great viewing in areas with room for the animals to roam.

Awesome animals to see great service and awesome water feature my cousins and I had a lot of fun I recommend it it's very fun there

So much fun to see the animals. It's great how they have workers periodically throughout the Zoo to explain the animals nature and habitat. A learning experience for the kids and some Adults. My granddaughter wants to work with animals and that just peaked her interest even more. Great job Chaffee Zoo.

Was bummed out that lions once again were missing other animals were just sleeping

Loved it! Very impressed - and the new open-air African exhibit is awesome! I'd highly recommend it for anyone of any age with $7 and a few hours to kill.

Zoo lights was amazing. My first time there and I was so excited to see what it was all about. I was told we were going to see Santa and take pictures, I was excited. As we arrived, there was no parking so we were dropped at he front gates to wait in line. The line moved pretty fast so by the time he parked the car, we were up front.
As you go into the gates, it's all lit up. There were different characters and animals made from lights. Scenes made from cartoons cutouts and those were dressed with lights. It was absolutely beautiful. Sea Lion Cove was equally as beautiful, I dont remember much of what it look liked because I was ambushed by a mob of family and friends....I was proposed to that night, zoo lights will always be special in my heart. #BerberCoronadoWedding2019

I will always love this place my kids live coming and their smile is all day especially since they have the dinosaurs

There have been many upgrades over the last 5 years..the Sea Lion cove and the newer African themed areas are just beautiful! Such a pretty zoo for being smaller scale.

Not a big zoo. Plenty of shade. Reasonably priced. Great place for kids.

I love the animals and there is alot of shade. Great to go with the whole family. Won't be disappointed! The kids will love it!

Chaffee Zoo is an intimate experience with wonderful animal habitats. I have been to many zoos and this is one of my favorites. We usually even spend the money to get the yearly family pass. Well worthen the money and I highly recommend it.

Always a great time, the bird show was fun, and the kids really enjoy ending our day with the splash pad

Beautiful zoo. I would definitely recommend visiting if your in the area.

When I was much younger I would not have given this zoo 5 stars. Now, I definitely can. The facility is well maintained, the employees are friendly, and the animals appear to be well taken care of. I have been twice this year so far and I just keep liking it more. I'd definitely recommend heading over and visiting.
As a note: there is some construction going on for a new exhibit, however it will not get in your way during a visit.

Fantastic! New exhibits all the time and a great place to grab delicious coffee or lunch! Keepers walk around to talk to guests about the animals on the trails. Tons of keeper chats and an awesome bird show!

Newly amped with safari area. However, very expensive food that douse go to a great cause. The animal's!

Had a great time and my 1 year old loved it. They are still working on a few attractions though.

Been visiting regularly for almost 20 years, moved to Idaho a few years ago but we make sure to visit any time we make it back down to California. Love this place!

So mant new exhibits!! We had a great time!! I felt right at home amongst all the wild animals... We even got to feed a giraffe!! We had such a great time, u can't say enough good things about the Chaffee Zoo!! We will definitely ve back very soon.

The zoo has really grown the price if the food and thing for the kids was high.The price to get in was not bad.But the sea lion cove and the stingray bay does not look like what they show on TV. The staff were nice.

This zoo is amazing they have awsome opportunities like to feed giraffes and sting Ray's they also have a new dinosaur exhibit overall this zoo is 10/10

Busy day at zoo today, seemed like thousands of kids, funny to watch good times...

This is by far my favorite zoo so far. I loved getting g the sting Ray's. I hope to go back soon. I would love to make another trip there with my kids. I think they would love it so much.

Had a great day with the Reagan Redhawks. Best Zoo experience is here, you have to see Winged Wonder, feed the giraffes and enjoy the day

Zoolights is amazing. I love going here at any time, but with it lit up it is a little bit magical.

All the new exhibits are awesome. So much to see and do and there food court is great has lots of options for people who eat meat and those of us who r vegetarian

Had a great time I think the Jurassic addition is cool but way over priced for what it is.

How could you not give this place 5 . They are constantly renovating and upgrading every corner and nook making it even better than it already is. They offer a little something for every age. I am married without kids and we go atleast every 6 weeks. They are constantly hosting after hours events introducing the community to something new and exciting, such as the Roar and Pour a few months back!

A great place to bring your family! The food was really good and all the animal exhibits were well maintained and staff are friendly!

Going to the zoo is a peacful place and fun for kids since the can see all different types of animals and they also have sea animals and land animals

We took our youth girls group, from our church, and they had a blast. The animal exhibits are really cool, and the staff is entirely friendly and helpful. We all loved it!! Thank you, Fresno Chaffee Zoo!!

Well done zoo and displays for this metro area, and great dining area overlooking African savannah and animals; very friendly staff. Parking bit convoluted, bit of a walk, but only $5.

It's great for a family day, just wish the construction was done. &parking should be free

Most things are shut down due to covid but still well worth going my kids enjoyed . Another cool thing was the fact that they had employees on stand by if you wanted to learn about each animal .

We came on a educational fieldtrip and every single staff member was amazing!! If you have a question or need to locate something they all gladly help you but it's not hard to find your way around.
Good for a weekend/family outing.
