July 13 2019 I took my mom to the zoo for her birthday this morning/afternoon other then the extremely RUDE girls at the giraffe platform we had fun exploring and seeing all the beautiful animals and Dinosaurs. A zookeeper named Brandon who was visiting on his day off was very sweet and helped us find our way around the safari also Misha in the Lion area was amazing and taught us some very cool things about the big cats over all we had fun and hope to return very soon ! Thanks so much for a fun filled afternoon Fresno Chaffee Employees and Partners !

One of the better zoos I've been to! Animals seemed more happy and joyful as oppose to LA area zoos

Such a fun, relaxing place to enjoy animals with the family. Africa is our favorite, with outdoor eating. The dinosaurs were a cute walk through.

My children and I always enjoy ourselves at the zoo. The staff is always willing to stop &answer all the questions my children ask.

Great place for the family. . Great staff and good vibes all around.

Had a very nice time. A little pricey. And because of the Heat we weren't able to see many of the animals. Also didn't know that the rest of the fun activities like Storyland and rotary Playland inside of the park itself are only opened on certain days... so it's best to do some research and planning. Not for spontaneous fun.

Such a beautiful & impressive zoo for its size! Where else can you eat lunch and watch animals such as rhinos & elephants graze on the horizon? Zoo is very interactive, and if you have kids there are some nice play areas for them. This zoo never feels too crowded- it s very spacious & well mapped out. Staff is always friendly & helpful. Parking is easy. Entry fee is very affordable. This zoo is truly a hidden gem in the Central Valley!!

It s a zoo and it has amazing habitats for the animals. You should definitely check this one out. They also added a dinosaur habitat.

Most exhibits were under construction, or were in tbe process of being moved. So WHY are you opened???? VERY disappointed!!!! And paid full price.

I loved this place. So did my kids. Nice, friendly, so big and well kept. Will love to come back.

A wonderful experience. Very well taken care of and clean. Great food in the African Safari area. Prices are not too bad at all. Super friendly staff.

Had a great time, all the new additions along with the dinosaurs made it worth while.

Awesome affordable small zoo. Great value for the money. Animals seem well cared for and happy. In town for a few days needed something to do with a toddler.

Other than getting into the parking area, everything is done rapidly, check-in and buying tickets is fast. The dinasaur attraction and feeding the giraffes is great! Food was very good and a reasonable price. Clean bathrooms!

Great place to take the family. Lots of animals to see.

Not expensive to enter. Best part is they let you feed the giraffes for $3. The food in the cafe was delish and tons of food to choose from. No bears but lots of other animals to see.

Sometimes when we spent an afternoon at Roeding Park, we went to Fresno Chaffee Zoo. Not as often as I wanted, but still it was nice to get to see the animals. Loved to see the giraffes and elephants. I could have just stopped at either of these and spend the rest of the day watching. A big thank you to the zoo employees for such a wonderful experience.

Love this place! I come as often as I can. The safari is beautiful. A great relaxing place where you can sit, eat lunch and enjoy the amazing view of animals.

It always seems to be hot when I go, but I always find that it is all worth it. I m really glad to see that they are expanding many parts of the zoo for larger exhibits. There s also a baby rhino and a baby orangutan that made me feel again.
Kangaroos are still superior

Open, but requires to book prior or show up to see if there is any spots available with in that hour with the possibility of having to wait if there isn t. Mask is required, only when going in store, to feed giraffes, and to buy food.

Not very clean. Didn't see many animals. The ones I did were cute. I especially liked the Lions & the Elephants. Thanks.

It's like traveling to a variety of lands; Africa, Amazon and the coast!

I built some of my favorite memories as a child here at this park. The various animals in the zoo and playtime & picnciking in the park was always wonderful but my favorite part of our visits was going to Storybook Land.

(Posted this on another zoo location? , either way The Fresno Chaffee Zoo is great) Had such a wonderful Saturday at the zoo! There have been so many updates, new exhibits, experiences, food choices--this zoo is a point of pride for any Fresno resident. We spend the whole morning and early afternoon and got to see everything the zoo has to offer. There are zoo staff at many of the exhibits and they were all very helpful and very knowledgeable about each animal. Would love to go back soon.

Wonderful place for friends and family. Wasn't too busy.

We went early and are glad we did. Go at 9 when it's cooler and less crowded

Always enjoy coming here. The employees are helpful and willing to answer any questions you may have. They take time with kids to make sure they don't feel ignored or dismissed.

I would recommend grabbing lunch here and enjoy the views of the savanna with the rhinos and elephants.

I hadn't been to the zoo in almost 15 years, and it's like a different place now. They've done an amazing job with the new attractions and sprucing up the older ones. It feels like a real, big-city zoo. Thankful we got the season pass.

Love visiting our beautiful zoo..they have done a great job with new exhibit the sea lion cove is incredible. I simply can't wait for new African safari exhibit those elephants need more space. Also one of my favorite things to do is visit buttercup the jersey cow in the petting zoo been visiting her since she was a calf my how she has grown. Highest recommendation to go visit.

From Sacramento area Fresno Zoo is the best. They are always growing and adding new animals

Been to multiple zoo's in the northern California region and this has been my favorite thus far!

Attened Zoo Lites beautiful lite displays. Lots of places to get a warm drink. Lots of staff to help with questions. Nice event.

Fun for the family. Invest in the Pass if your a Fresno Resident.

I liked it, it was very nice. I especially liked the Elephant exhibit, the animals have ample room to roam. The reptile house was also very AWESOME although I didn't take any pictures this trip, I will next trip, because I'm definitely going back

Feeding the Giraffes neeeeeever gets old! It's definitely improving but there is still a lot of empty space. Biggest complaint would be the Tiger. I wish it had a bigger set up. It seems way too small for the poor thing.

Wonderful place to enjoy a day with family....food was awesome....Dinosaur interaction great...and the cherry on top ...they have a kids wetting area so bring bathing suits and towels when you go.....

Their new African Adventure exhibit is amazing with all the new animals.

They zoo was clean. The staff was nice. Not as helpful as I would have liked. The drink machines are my money and ty hey didnt even offer to reimburse me when I told staff what had happened.

This zoo was amazing I can go on all day the animals were all out and the zoo was clean and I was so impressed with this place for a great price and was able to walk the hole Park in a lil over 230 hrs this zoo I will brag and rave about for months to come way bettter then LA zoo

The zoo has always been pretty good but now with the new expansions it's becoming great and probably one of the best nationwide.

The African Adventure is the best. Every effort is made to create a roomier, more natural setting for the animals. The trainers really know their "stuff"! It's also heartening to see the community supportive by passing measure Z!

Really nice, full featured zoo! Constantly updating and building new and creative exhibits. The Marketing/Promotion Team for the zoo has done an excellent job coming up with ideas to attract visitors all year round. We just went back for our third year of Zoolights where the entire park is adorned in Christmas lights! Take the family and enjoy!
