1st time was very nice be looking forward to next year

I live in Houston was but extremely impressed with this layout and variety. It s comparable to some of the best zoos in the US!

The Chaffey Zoo was a lovely after noon visit. Parking, admission and food was reasonably priced. While it is not the San Diego Zoo, the exhibits were attractive. One thing that was cool was their attention to providing shade for visitors. We enjoyed being able to see the animals fairly closely. We were able to actually see all the big cats. I especially enjoyed the bird show, which closed with being able to pose for pictures with a large eagle owl or a beautiful golden eagle.

Animals have great habitats very well taken care of

What a wonderful zoo. There is also an amusement park (Storyland) right across from the zoo. Both are located in a large park.

I mostly come here for school field trips and it's mostly very fun for everyone.

Beautiful zoo! We love it here! Shayna the Zoo Keeper was fantastic with my animal loving son. She totally made his day! We were just overwhelmed by how crowded it was today, especially since there wasn't a special event going on. I'm so glad we have our membership and were able to skip the rediculously long line.

I didn't think I would enjoy this zoo, I usually end up seeing animals in tiny enclosures that look sad, but all the animals here seem loved and we'll looked after. My two friends an I had a great time! The staff was so nice to us and some More

Bbq pits are available and it's a great place to hang out.

Great place to bring your kids and they always have awesome events!

They have new things all the time. The dino exhibit is so cool. The food is great. Go expecting to spend 3+ hours to see everything

Look watching my two year old granddaughters face light up in amazement as she discovered all the different animals. Enjoyed lunch while watching the rhinos.

Unique experience- well designed and executed. Food for humans has variety and great taste. Get there early on the weekend because it is a destination for families with young children and rightly so. The Fresno Chaffee Zoo has a rare gem on its hands, one we can all take pride in.

Awesome experience...way better then the Sacramento zoo by far and the price was totally affordable..will definitely go back..animals exhibits were interactive despite the obvious covid precautions..love it

The zoo was clean and inviting. Hand sanitizer stations throughout the zoo. All staff was wearing masks in response to the covid19 virus. Gift shops had merchandise outside for purchase. Food was available for outside dining. I look forward to going back.

It was hot, but it was fun seeing and talking picture's of all the animals.

During the Summer, It really becomes the African Safari.

My family loved this place. The rides were closed due to construction but I would definitely go back.

It's a great place to explore and have a couple of hours of amusement.

Just renewed my membership. Can go wrong family of 8 for only $100 a year membership

This zoo is a nice small zoo. They have a decent selection of animals, and the facilities are well kept.

Great place to visit the Africa and zoorasic areas are great

I would like to go there more often, even if it was just for a meal and a nice stroll through the park

We love the zoo! It's a great place to take your kids it has nice big open habitats. And you can feed the giraffes!

Seems they are renovating or adding new stuff. One or two exhibits are closed, a few others are detoured a bit, but nothing unbearable. My son is the best tour guide I could ask for. I recommend buying the family pass as it pays for itself in just 2 or 3 visits. It's nice to be able to run over after school for an hour to kill time and not have to pay admission for such a short time frame.

I literally was so surprised at what a great zoo this is! The animals were all out, great exhibits, clean facilities, wonderful staff! We spent 4 hours there and enjoyed every minute. We only had ice cream but even that was delicious. Only downer is the people whose children don't behave... screaming, tapping glass, littering, climbing, etc. Please control your children... you're supposed to go see the animals at the zoo, not bring yours.

We love the zoo and cant wait till the Asia aninal area is done along with african adventure expansion!

There was not enough animals and a lot of walking. Staff was pleasant and knew their stuff.

If you're stuck in Fresno for some god awful reason and are looking for something to do, go to this zoo. It's surprisingly amazing, especially with the new African exhibit. Every time I go I'm always impressed since it seems like Fresno shouldn't have something this nice. The price is very low too, especially compared to big name zoos like in San Diego. Definitely opt for feeding the giraffes since it's only like 2 bucks but is a lot of fun and makes a great picture. Parking sucks though. Last time I went was on Labor Day weekend and we were gridlocked in the overflow lot for a good 10 or 15 minutes. I'm surprised we even found a spot. The walk from the parking lot to the zoo can be pretty long too.

Very fun place, you can bring your child to play for a long time.

Great place to take the kid for a couple of hours. I've always had membership to any zoo in a city I've lived. I'm used to San Diego zoo so this zoo doesn't compare but always nice to have zoo nearby and I'm glad to have Fresno zoo nearby.

All the new additions are so good for the animals. Absolutely beautiful. Lucky to have such a beautiful zoo. The new cafe has vegetarian options too and a giant fireplace.

I love the zoo.its changed so much .for the better.i would have gave it 5 stars but they don't sell beer there.

Great place to spend afternoon with the whole family. Even the adults had a fantasic time. We love the tigers!

If your a member you should at least get a better discount then what they give for food or anything else paying $100 for a membership it would be cool to get a little more of a discount on things

Great family place, a few interactive areas food is decent and prices are about what you would expect for an entertainment area.

It was cool and nice beverages and the animals are cool and you can even feed giraffes

always fun for couples and families..while there you can learn about the animals they exhibit and habitats...eat great food and enjoy all the special events thru out the year...been going since there was a hippo as a kid now I'm a member and my littles ones enjoy it every year 11yrs strong as a family Zoo came a long way! Really great place! Price is excellent, animals all look healthy, happy and well taken care of. All the employees are friendly and very knowledgeable. The only thing we didn't like was the food, then we found the new restaurant/store on the newer side that was perfect. Really great experience all around.

Excellent zoo. It's easy to walk around and get from one exhibit to another. It's very clean. The food was good. Prices reasonable.

Always a good time and a hit with the kiddos. Lots of shade available for the hot months which is nice. They always have lots of events happening (at least pre-covid) and we love the renovations that have been made over the last few years. We're members and plan to be as long as our kids keep enjoying our visits.

Needs better maintenance like mowing and hope filling. Maybe some trees for shade in summer.

We've been members for years. Coming here never gets old. They are constantly working to make the place better and it shows. Fantastic zoo.

The zoo experience was great!!! The animals are awesome. Customer service was good and food/drink prices were competitive to similar attractions. Prices of the tickets was fair. However... It took an hour to pay and find a parking spot! Absolutely ridiculous, they really need to address this issue. Fix the parking issue and you get 4 stars.
