I most say the food here is off the chain. It has never been a time I order from there ,and said it was nasty. But however the service sucks. It takes at least a hour for anything to be ready. That is the core to any food place the speed ,and customer service. I still order from here just a hour in advance so that it will be ready when I get there ,because that is just how much I love the food ! So if you go order in advance ,and don't forget a cup of Lemonade because it is the best!!!

Smells incredible in here they're getting ready for their lunch buffet very very helpful young lady Olivia haven't eaten here yet the buffet is not quite ready but I would definitely come and give this a shot very fresh live crabs smells fantastic did I say that LOL

Loved the food!! The chef came out and greeted us. They grill or fry. The food was amazing!! They are in the process of renovations so the restaurant is not the prettiest but the food and people make me want to go back soon!!

The food was simply outstanding. Service with a smile. Definitely going back soon! Fish was as fresh as could be with a family recipe for coleslaw that was just delicious.

Food was delicious...get the deviled crab for sure. Flounder and hush puppies were excellent. Everyone was very welcoming and even though it was close to closing, they cooked us up some hot plates. We will definitely be back next time we're in town.

Slow Service, yet ever so amazing food! Everytime I come back home to visit family, this is always a first stop for me. Definitely worth the try, if you have the time. If it's your first time, make time!

I liked the sausage a lot. I should have gotten a side of the sauce but I feel like I wanted more sausage and maybe next time I'll get a pan of just sausage and shrimp. Either way, it was great

The Owner was very accommodating with preparing my order. Also the gentleman who was prepping the fish has a nice personality suited for public customer service.

Don't let the small plain exterior deter you. Hands down some of the best simple southern seafood I have eaten. We did not wait long at all for food ,was delicious and fresh. Owner took time to talk to us, everyone was friendly. Will plan to catch it on our way back home, definitely a hidden food gem

They were the most courteous people I could find. Products were phenomenal. I am not from the area but I would suggest them to everyone.

If you crave Maryland style steamed crabs, this is the place. You will think you ordered them in Dundalk. They are that good. Best tasting I ve ever had down here and the best prices by far.

We were on vacation and asked a local, "where we could get good fish?" We didn't realize it was almost closing time but they welcomed us. They started cooking fresh food putting it on the bar just for us. How accommodating could they be, you might ask! The fresh food was awesome AND they allowed us to take a picture with a sign featuring me sons school motto, "EXCELLENCE IS THE EXPECTATION"!! FRESHWATER FISH COMPANY, we will see you in the fall!!

The food was good and hot , it's just an odor in there that's very unpleasant.

Late on Saturday and decided to try Freshwater Fish. I had garlic crabs. So good. Messy but worth every finger lick and napkin. . Husband had fried shrimp. A little to much breading and grease for him.

We had a wonderful dinner. There was a little bit of a wait because the owner cooked our food fresh. It was delicious. The catfish, crabcakes, hushpuppies and coleslaw were top notch. The hamburgers were so good and made with fresh, hand pattied beef. The owner came to our table and introduced himself. He was so nice and pleasant. He took the time to come and let us know that our wait was due to him making fresh crab cakes for us. They were well worth the wait. I highly recommend a visit to the freshwater fish company.

All they had was whiting, and the buffet was slow to fill. The food was good and reasonable price.

Not very satisfying tonight.. Used to be very good service and plentiful of food but tonight was very poorly....

This restaurant has great food made to order, impeccable service, and the best Sunday buffet in the county. You can't rush perfection, and that's exactly what they're serving here ay Fresh Water Fish Co. They're catfish stew is a must.

Best spot dinners at the beach, Hands down!! Fish hand selected and food cooked fresh to order...Awesome!!!

This is the plate I was given. It looks like someone ate from my plate before they sold it to me. Very disappointed. My mother had whiting fish but it was not fresh fish. It was clearly frozen fish. When my Aunt expressed her disappointment with the owner she told her "No one ever complained about our food." She didn't even try to rectify the problem. They also were out of crabs, catfish, sodas, etc at 7 pm but they closed at 9 pm. Not the southern hospitality I expected. The prices of the food do not reflect the quality or quantity of food. The pictures on the website are very deceiving.

Down south kitchen type feel. The food is always fresh off the stove, and the wait is very minimum (well depending on what you order, but its worth the wait). The hospitality of the staff is very warm and welcoming. If you're in the area and don't want that big expensive seafood restaurant chaos, I recommend Fresh Water!

The food that was available was okay, just been out on the line too long. They were out of certain things, like cornbread and hushpuppies and didn't have more ready to replenish.

Slow service great food. Call in your order 2hrs in advance. Took them 2hrs to prepare 3 large seafood platters an 1 shrimp and oyster platter.

Was craving crab so decided to try this place. DELICIOUS. I highly recommend this place. Definitely will be eating here a lot

This Food Was Great ,But The Only REASON Why Not 5 Stars Because Of The Lenght Of Time ! Lady Said It Would Be 45 Mins But Ended Up Being Almost 2 Hours. Other Than That Food Was Great !
