Freeman Productions have just digitized 8mm film footage of a voyage taken in 1962. They were fantastic to work with, and produced a stunning full-length video of the wedding and reception as well as a magical 6-minute "highlights" video. I had an old instructional DVD that was not in high definition. Freeman productions did a fantastic job of converting it to an MP4 that I could upload to you tube. It was quite a complicated job but they easily converted it and uploaded the video for me. Anthony was always very approachable and nothing was too much trouble. I have a lot of old videos from the 1990's of extreme sentimental value which I've struggled for years to covert to modern formats. I've tried other services in the past who made lots of promises which didn't pan out. In desperation I even bought some of the equipment to try do it myself, but it was impossible. On a whim a few weeks ago I tried a google search and found a company with an perfect 5 star rating. At first I thought this were fake reviews until I read them. I contacted Freeman productions and found them to be extremely courteous and professional. Sent the tapes and got a PERFECT result back. The quality is exceptional, nothing got lost and everything was done to my complete satisfaction. The price was also unbelievably low considering the amount of work involved. Don't look anywhere else - these are the guys to use !

During June this year I gave Freeman a +2 hour video (on a Betamax tape) that was originally recorded during the mid 1980's on a Sony portable Betamax recorder/player with a Sony home video camera. The video was a copy of the original and the quality was not the best at all according to today's standard. The video was converted to digital and although there was some loss in quality, it looks whether Freeman tried there utmost best the keep as much of the original quality as possible. This was much appreciated and their service is highly recommended.

Had about 45 reels of 8mm home movies of family converted to digital files (mp4). Highly recommended. Remember that the longer you wait to digitise those 8mm movies, the more the film deteriorates.

I received the 8mm cine films, that my father Harold Jennings, had taken back in the mid 1950's through to the time of his death in 1966. These cine films, where a, "treasure trove", of our family life in my early years. I haven't seen them in over 50 years as our projector died too. When I sent the films through to Freeman Productions to have them put onto a memory stick, I was worried that it would be a lost cause. It was not! I had a very poignant weekend seeing my family come to life on my lap-top and through our television, it was wonderful.
