Great breakfasts. We have been eating here for years. The prices are unbelievably low and the food very good. We usually just eat breakfast. My husband has food allergies and never has a problem eating here. The gentleman who works there named John always makes our visit special. Such a wonderful man checking that everything is perfect with your meal. Love this place!

First thing I noticed was the cost of sandwiches, breakfast, etc. was really quite low. So, I wasn t going to be surprised if the food came of low quality and quantity. It didn t. The food was great! You order from the person at the counter. They do have WiFi. The local TV news was on but it wasn t annoyingly loud. 5 stars.

Broiler is San Carlos' hometown diner. I thought all the crowds were at dinner time until I hit it for a weekday breakfast a couple weeks ago. I was amazed at the number of people there. I guess it is popular with the seniors. The menu is extensive and varied. There really is something for everyone. The food is consistently decent now, improved over what it was 12 years ago; not that it was a problem then, just inconsistent. The service tends to be on the slow side especially when it is crowded, but there are always specials and lots of good options when your family can't agree on any dinner options. We run into people we know here often because it is in the heart of San Carlos. It is a nice break from the rest of the upscale places. A greasy spoon in the bistro line up.

This is a very friendly and convenient family restaurant with good food. They've been around for long time and serve well. If you like greek food, there's a small selection for you as well.

Good food for a cheap price. I just wish there was more detail as to what they put in some of the dishes. Otherwise great food. Customer service is a little ehh and took a little while for the food to be ready. But overall nothing that would keep me from coming back again.

I my family and I go here every weekend. They have really great standard breakfast food at affordable prices. They also have a wide variety of other options but we mostly do Sunday brunch.

I have been here over the last 10 years and yesterday I found it has improved. Liver & onions was very good yesterday. Affordable meals and a good location. I was not going to return but gave it another try. Just be sure you pick the right meal. Something's just aren't good but breakfast and liver & onions are. Sandwiches and hamburgers are not they're strong point.

Been coming here for nearly 30 years. Great for breakfast or lunch. The best gyros and Greek salad I ve had anywhere in California. Really the only place that comes close to Chicago Greek (and they re not even a Greek restaurant.)

Good comfortable food. Family atmosphere. Great prices. Lots of locals. I come here when I have a half hour to grab breakfast between meetings. Service is fast and they will modify as you wish.

This is one of those mom and pop shops that I can't get enough of. The food here is great. They have a menu that you can get anything you want. I haven't eaten here since I was a little girl in high school. And I actually am now 30. My family goes here for family events sometimes as well. Service is always great and so is food.

American Mexican Greek comfort food. Smart business they know how to make profit and stay in business with enormous portion sizes. Machaca $8.64 which is eggs with shredded beef, rice and beans. Put the meat egg into a tortilla add hot sauce and eat. Delicious. Coffee included. Best deal on the planet.

Places like this still do exist. This is a cafeteria style greasy spoon. Great for a quick inexpensive breakfast. Old school style. Think your grandfather s breakfast spot

This is an old school style American diner, if you want a down home cooked meal at a good price this is the place. Good soup, pork chops, steak, breakfast & other comfort foods. They also have a few T.V.s to watch. Parking can be a little tricky. My family has ate here over the last 30+yrs... I think in all the time I've eaten here I've only ever complained once, my pork chop was over cooked.

It is a great place to go if you are looking for a quick meal at an affordable greasy-spoon type place. They have weekday and weekend prices. They serve a variety of food and offer many combos. Order at the counter and depending how busy they will bring it to you quickly. You can serve yourself refills of water and coffee. There are a few tables outside.
