This school is AMAZING!! I have had 1 kid go through high school at one of the big public schools in the area and 1 go through Freedom Prep. If I could do it again both of my children would have gone to Freedom! Lots of great class options and the teachers take the time and make the effort to really get to know my child and help her grow. The office staff has always been so friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this school enough!

Freedom Prep is an amazing school. Our children have flourished here. The culture and community is welcoming and warm. The teachers are phenomenal! The staff are all so welcoming and loving to the children and families. Our children have benefited greatly from leveled learning. The technology available and used in the classrooms is like no other we have seen! It is incredible!

Little to no communication and super unorganized.

Little to no communication and super unorganized.
We bought my sons instrument and the band teacher wasn't even aware that it wasn't a school instrument.. how does that happen? Shouldn't they have a count of school items?
My son had a leave of absence from school and I tried multiple times to get emails and homework from teachers with no results. TWO MONTHS later someone reached out to me.
His special ed "teacher" didn't even know who he was when we went to parent teacher conference... he spends hours in her class room everyday and she had to ask who he was?! Seriously so disappointed in this school.

I LOVE Freedom Academy! I spent my whole Middle School and High School career there and wouldn t change a day. Small class sizes, one-on-one teacher interactions, awesome programs and facilities, and they re getting better every year!

Terrible school the staff never are on the same page and are always confused on what's going on with each individual student the principal is the worst and cant even look you straight in the eyes. The dean had lied to me and a few other people on things that were really important. And many students here really dont know personal boundaries and are not good at keeping their mouth shut and always share personal things about others.

I have a child in middle school and a child in high school here. The staff is doing a tremendous job providing an interesting and excellent education for my children. My children especially love the music program. My 8th grader was put in high school choir because he sings well enough to fit in that group. My 10th grader is 1st violin 2nd chair because, even though she's never had a private music lesson, the music staff have been teaching her in sectionals and helping her to grow in her knowledge and abilities. This year, both children will get to go to Cedar City to the Utah Shakespeare Festival to compete with other high schools. There are so many more good things I could say about the school, but I don't have the time to write it all.

Good charter school. Being new has pros and cons. Modern building and facilities. Library is still a little sparse, but gaining books. Parents are expected to contribute time to help with school projects and activities.

I am tired so tired of not getting accurate information. They make it sound your child is irresponsible and it easy for them to judge without knowing what's going on and giving just random information. The automatic calls are very annoying when you are a working mom. They give kids 5 minutes to get from one class to another class, the school is full of kids and it's hard to get to the lockers when there are kids all over the place, then you get an automatic call about the crime your child made for being late to a class. Called the school and get a person that does not want to answer your questions, wants to obligate you to look up the information on Aspire, that system is a real joke, never works, it's not updated, and when you tell her I would like to get the information over the phone, she get annoyed because she has to work. At that point I am frustrated because she made is sound that my child has committed a crime for being late to a class.
I cannot ask questions to an automatic call and that call advices you to contact the school. So what do you want us to do? Call the school so the receptionist can ruin your day? To listen her tone of her voice getting upset because you didn't want to look up the information online? After all that I got very upset.
