I can t rave enough about FPC! I m so grateful Columbus has this gem. We try to take anyone who comes to visit here. $20 admission seems like a lot, but you can spend a great deal of time here, especially if you end up in the children s garden on a beautiful day! Our memberships allow us to bring an addition 2 adults when we visit and it s perfect. Well worth the money! The Palm House and Children s Garden are my favorite.

One of my favorite places to just relax and take in the nice weather, love all the different areas

^ From a month ago

After actually going inside recently and getting a better feel of the place, I gotta admit it took me away. It's like each area has its own theme, If you're from out of town or just live in Ohio and haven't been definitely check it out

Beautiful botanical garden! The children's garden was awesome and if you have children, there is a lot for them to see, touch and experience. Also, worth noting, their Garden Railway is AWESOME!! They had a Fairytale and European theme to their buildings. It was well executed. Much of their displays are located in the visitor center. Not the biggest botanical garden I've ever been to, but very nice. Every single worker we ran into was extremely helpful and friendly!

We were worried this would be one of those places you're in and out in 45 minutes. We wound up spending hours here. Very very beautiful grounds outdoors, the large scale model train outside is like nothing I've ever seen before. Inside was just as nice as the outside gardens. Also a lot of blown glass artwork integrated in the displays. A nice gift shop and cafe. Bathrooms were clean too. Well worth the visit.

Very, very nice place with both indoor and outdoor areas to explore, including an area for the kids outside. Each area of the building allows you to explore the plant life from various climates and eco systems. Also have a glass blower on site, who also offers classes. Nice gift shop as well. Plenty of parking.

To be honest, at $20 a person I thought the price was a bit steep. But after spending the morning here I can say it's worth every penny! The grounds are well manicured; the variety of plants is quite impressive; and the staff is all very helpful and kind. The Glassblowing Hot Shop was a wonderful experience to observe. I will come back next time I'm in town.

I have been coming here since I was a child (almost 20 years!) I ve seen this place when it cost only $7. Now the admission is $20 at which I was appalled, admittedly at first but it is very much worth it! It s exciting to see all these people and children continue to enjoy the conservatory. I haven t been able to afford a membership or to get all the time but whenever we do, it s an experience! I always take a ton of pictures of plants and the Palm House is my favorite spot hands down. I remember being a part of a yoga class in there once. What I love that s new is the children s garden and the Hot Shot(?) glass blowing demonstration ,which I got to see today for the first time. Its always a surprise to see what is new here. Some things never change and some new things always are coming. Price is underpaying honestly. So I know the FPC is actually community oriented <3 And the Columbus libraries (Main, MLK South East & more)has free passes for the day for FPC (first come first serve) that restart every day when they open.

Highly recommend. Everything is beautiful. We went around noon, it was a little warm (September). Going in the morning would probably be more comfortable for exploring outdoor areas. I believe they currently have evening events too, which would be beautiful. Recommend checking the website prior to visiting, we weren t able to work that into our trip this time, but would have loved to see chihuly at night .

My son and I checked this place out today for the first time. It is a little pricey to get in, but if you are spending the day, and it is nice outside, totally worth it! We ended up buying a membership. On the inside, there are different garden rooms with fountains and beautiful Chihuly glass art displays. On the outside, there are different gardens to walk around and explore as well. There is a "kids" area that includes a playground that encourages play with loose parts and climbing and motor planning. It also includes a sandbox area. A little further is a water play area for kids to play and get wet. Nearby is a learning discovery area AND picnic tables, benches, washing station, and restrooms. This place has something for everyone and is very accessible to those in strollers or wheelchairs.
