Doesn t anyone notice all the good reviews for this company were posted at the same time. Scroll through them. Every positive review is generic and was posted at the same time while all the negative ones are random dates then a week or so later good reviews start coming in. This company is both horrible and great. If ur a great person this job will be horrible if ur a horrible person this job is great screw nester!

They will hire almost anyone to be a shift lead and they do not carefully screen anyone out for bad people.
Use to work for this place in California for several years as a supervisor, Project Manager, and Area manager .... Management is so corrupt by Mario Moreno and his Family as they do what they want with this company .... Example giving all contract work and extra billings to his Sons company (Rainbow Services) making people work under the table to clean there buildings they have separate and clocking in and still making KBS pay .... Brian from HR says things are confidential and tells the Moreno family everything even if not suppose to.... Worst Company I ve ever worked for definitely do not recommend this place at all .....
I worked for a few months with Kbs in the Huntsville area, everything seems to be looking good, until they sent us a new manager, Yashira her name and she wanted to abuse some workers, starting with me, I spoke with the supervisor (Michael Ortega ) looking for help with him to help me with the abuses of that lady Yashira and it turned out, just because I asked for her number from Human Resources, who also did not solve anything for me, they did not even return my call. In these days of COVID I have been left without a job and all to defend myself against the abuses of that lady.

My name is Lee Knight my company is Yard Care Services in Logan Utah. I would love to re evaluate my review once I can get this settled. KBS acquired East Coast lots and national maintenance systems both of which I had done work for this Winter with snow removal. I have yet to get my final payment I get the run around I get lied to I do not get call back I'm avoided. This is my next option if this company truly cares about their employees and their sub contractors and their customers I would think that they would reach out to national maintenance systems and these coast lots and make sure we get our final payment there are many many many reviews on their sights on Google that they have the same issue as I. Is there anyone in this company that can do something and make sure we get called back or call us back yourselves and help us resolve this issue. I have a contract with them I even have your app that I checked in and checked out of. You can look me on my company up on Google and please give me a call I have called your customer service and your help desk and left my number there also. I'm hoping you guys will stand up and do something thank you very much I would love to give you more of a star rating if I can get this resolved thank you.

Great to see all these vendors unite against these thieves. Simply put they don't pay. They owe us over $7,000.00 since December of 2019. You contact them and they ignore you. We need to make this known to their customers. We will be billing their customers direct!

I was an employee with this company and was constantly harrassed by my direct manager. I called the ethics line because i was concerned about the treatment and the daily fear i was going to loose my job. The ethics line was no longer in service yet the information is posted above the time clock. I then tried to reach out 4 times to HR in order to report the matter and get some kind of guidance but i kept being passed around and my calls were not being returned. I even asked a person who answered the phone for the regional managers information so i can speak to him about my concern and she didnt know who the regional director was and how i can get in touch with him. On my last day of employment, i left my last message with HR to please contact me in which later that day, i was contacted by someone and i had let them know i had been trying to reach someone multiple times but i had just been terminated. She told me that she was going to have the HR rep for that account to reach out to me and if i didnt hear back to give her a call again. I then called back because i didnt hear anything and she just said that she had sent her a message and she should be contacting me which she did not. (no surprise here) if you are an individual trying to seek employment with this company, please think twice. This company does not operate on a professional level and apparently the managers dont either.
Attempted to stop by the office and meet with someone regarding getting janitorial services and the receptionist wouldn't allow me in to speak with anyone.

As it is possible that being such a large company they do not know how to choose the managers of each store only they put them because they are known to those who manage all the stores, in this case I want to speak for myself and for a friend that I appreciate very much, she He is the most hardworking person I have known since I live in New York, he arrives at work until an hour before they open the store to start cleaning even she cleans overtime without being paid, no matter how much I tell her to wait for Her time is super responsible and it is not fair to me that the manager arrives at the time he feels like and is missing, just like his wife, I mean it is not allowed to bring the family! Total the company does not give a single day of rest something that makes me horrible THE PEOPLE IS NOT ROBOT LADIES! ALSO PAY HOLIDAY! The man threatened several of his employees by telling them that when he wanted to, he thundered his fingers to be fired. Like many times he found himself locked in the cleaning room watching videos at work time now I speak for me, in my case he was a sexual stalker telling a colleague of mine in the store that we work in common to put my hand when he knew that I had already suffered sexual harassment by another partner any questions you have there are the cameras called messages that will not let me lie .. I hope you can solve something with this guy so nefarious! THERE IS NO PEOPLE TO CLEAN THE STORE ONLY THE ONE AND MY FRIEND LEFT ..? My friend does not have to pay for others. QUR WAIT TO LOOK FOR MORE PEOPLE! SHE DOESN'T HAVE TO DO IT .. AS A PERSON IN THE COMMENTS ALREADY SAID THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST FOR THOSE WHO WORK WELL AND THE BEST FOR WHO IS THE WORST.

The most terrible unprofessional, unethical company along with their subcontracted companies like COG SERVICES inc. account 60479. Which treat their employees like peasants and refused to pay minimum wage in Los Angeles CA. also by taking money out of the paychecks because of system failure, and paying whenever they want and what ever they please.
They have you work your but off. Then suddenly want to charge you all these fees and deductions for quitting one account and not giving 30 days notice. When they toss u from many accounts and don't even give 7 days notice like the contract says. But it is okay. You still have to pay your employees when they randomly decide they want to keep 4000$ of your money.

If you are a vender do not sign with this company as they do not pay. They manipulate you and they keep passing the buck, with no accountability.
If you are a customer do not hire Kbs. They sub contract their work to smaller companies and treat them as second class citizens

Doesn't even deserve one star! We were contracted to do snow removal for a couple Lowes locations in our city and long story short, we've crossed all the "T's" and dotted all the "i's" and have received one piddly check for a significant contract. Have been told by National Maintenance Systems (who were bought out by KBS) that a check has been issued only to wait weeks and then some other excuse come out of their mouth. Called directly to KBS and left several messages with ZERO response, now getting Attorney and General Attorney involved for a class action lawsuit!
I would like to edit my original review, long story short a company we were sub contracted for dropped the ball on payments, they hadn't emailed any over to KBS for payment so now that everything seems to be straightened out Im bumping up the rating. However, I still had to call back several times before I actually talked to a live person and not one person I left a voice mail for called back.
We have been working for this company as a contractor for 4 months now. We are currently past due on payment for over 2000.00 dollars. We have to continually call and are constantly being told that the payment is processed and a check is in the mail. They constant try to go against the contract and not pay. I currently have done 10,000.00 dollars worth of work and as soon as they get the bill they are trying to tell me they sent out the contract wrong and they are not going to pay all the invoices. I have signed contracts and all the data where we have provided the correct services as per their contract. They are very disorganized and not able to keep up with the billing cycles. They constant change how they want information sent and do it with out communicating to the vendors. We have jumped through all the hoopes with them for months only to not get paid.
I used their services to clean my offices only to find out that they sub contract their work to smaller illegal companies. Worse experience I ever had! I ended up hiring my own employees and saved on cost. Felt awful for those those workers from other companies they take advantage of.
I work has a KBS staff member and honestly yes this is a growing company but I personally believe that employees and sites aren t taken care of whatsoever

They still owe me money ...this company has a lot of subcontracted accounts, if their contractor refuse to pay neither company will take responsability. I Didnt get paid and After waiting almost 4 months still no answer from nobody. it is sad that such big company never answers the phone and it is NOT taking responsability for their subcontracted accounts And this is leave me and a lot of people I know without our paycheck.

I already spoke with Brenda Moore from KBS on the phone and after almost 2 weeks waiting she said theres nothing they can do for me even when I have proof that they did NOT pay me my last check. It is sad that such big company has subcontractors like Complete Maintenance that are getting richer by Not Paying their employees and such big company like KBS is letting them get away with it.
I just celebrated my 5th year at KBS. I started off as a temp and was hired on permanently. I have learned a lot since I have been here and have been promoted 2 times. I work with a great team who make the work environment a great place to come to each day.
Nice facility, big break room, free coffee and fruit everyday. Great company to work for.

No one will return calls...I called both numbers and the same lady pick up and sent me to the same lady who works payroll and who still haven t called.I worked for a day and didn t get paid for it I think thats called free labor and I don t like that. Your employee gave me a schedule and told me to be there on weekends.I arrived on time and it was raining real hard to the point your employees Made me stand in the lobby for 30min gave me vest and said I can t let you go out it s a tornado warning I worked liked every one else why haven t I receive my pay Kbs

They operate out of the east coast now and since they took operation control they have not paid us the money owed for our services for months. You call and email them and no answer or reply. They sub out their work and take a large amount of dollars and hire us to provide poor service and then they say its our fault and won't pay after months.. They offer their subs low rates so we have to use illegal immigrants for labor. Glad to see other subs unite and stand up to these slave drivers!

I am the office manager for Lawn Pros out of Sergeant Bluff Iowa and in November we started negotiations for the snow removal of a local company that KBS oversees. We were first contacted by National Maintenance Systems which KBS just acquired. Working with them has been a nightmare. Every time we are asked for something we provide it right away. We have done everything they have asked us to do. It is now January and we still have not received our first payment!! I have stacks and stacks of emails with excuses of why we haven't received it. We have been lied to saying a check has been sent. Then come to find out today (2 1/2 months later) that something on our insurance paper was not right. Again I have complied with their requests and we still don't have an answer on when we will be getting our FIRST check. I am tired of the games with NMS. I would like to be contacted by someone from KBS to get this corrected.

We have finished our snow season for Lowe's back in April. We were supposed to have our last contract payment paid by 5/31/20. It is now JUNE 29th, 2020 and we still have not received the final payment!! This company is horrible when it comes to paying their bills! We will move forward with our lawyers if some one does not contact us with the final payment!!! It better be sent overnight to us!!
