We were SO excited for the museum to open. I grew up going to this museum on trips from Arkansas, and now that we are locals we have a membership. The kids never tire of the exhibits and they have some really neat things for the kids (and adults!). My goal is to make it out some time without kids so I can do some extra exploring!
This was by far one of my favorite places we visited in Fort Worth! My son absolutely loved the kids zone and being able to color a dino & making it come to life on the big screen! He also enjoyed the decorating of the stegosaurus! He was so happy to be able to go. I very much enjoyed seeing him so happy & learning so much!
Compared to all the other museum's we have visited, such as St Louis Science museum, the children's museum in Houston and the Oklahoma City science museum and even the sci tech discovery center, the fort Worth science museum lacks interactive exhibits and is far outdated with today's technology and our youth's attention span. I remember going to the FWSM back when I was a child and I enjoyed it very much, I can't say the same anymore and found it to be quite boring on on our family visit today. My 11yo kept begging me to leave cause he was bored. I sure wish the sponsors and executive of the fort Worth science museum would visit other museum's and see how bad they are lacking.
Was a tad bit expensive for a museum spent $60 for the family but the museum was excellent. The kids loved the place. It has a lot of interactive exhibits that the kids liked. They would have stayed at each exhibit forever if I let them.
The kids had fun. It has some interactive things to do which is a plus if you have kids!

I was expecting a lot more dinosaur exhibits. Great place for kids though!
What cant I say about this. I and my kids love museums. From art to natural history. And this one definitely does not disappoint. If you can make the time you need to go here and enjoy what our great city has to offer.
Should've been more stuff to look at. For the price.. Not really worth it to me. Still fun to walk around and look at stuff with the family.
This place was wayyy more fun when I was a kid!! Kinda boring now tbh but my kids enjoyed it and that's all that matters! Can't wait for then to FINALLY put something else upstairs where grossolgy(which was tha BEST)used to be. Also gift shop was closed
