Amazing place to live! There is always something going on. I love it!
Amazing place to live! There is always something going on. I love it!
Only dropped off my wife and friend to show where they participated as audience
Clean, open & pretty walk along quay. Can avoid crowds most places. Eateries tend to get crowded. No halal food but Wagamama is yummy. Will give watersports Helly Hansen a try one day
Was at Media City today and a group of people (solo singer and choir) gave a great version of Vera Lynn's, we'll meet again. Made my day.
Modern, great open spaces and next to the river with good food options. Good for a afternoon walk. Can be very windy in some special days though
Did not attend at this venue therefore no comment
Must see tourist area of Manchester. Moving bbc here has made a wonderful change to the area for atmosphere, food and entertainment.
The alchemist is being built for 2017.
A beautiful, clean, quiet place, a walkway on the river and one of the nicest places in Manchester
Watched Question of Sport there really nice area cracking day out
Did not love it at all try to find a parking facility is difficult if you don't know the area
The journey there was hell due to road works. Sat Nav took me wrong way. Once there extremely long queue to get in to car park. Very stressful. Surrounding area looked tidy and lit up trees made it look inviting. So 1 star for the trees.
I am not sure why people rate this as a good office environment. Meeting rooms with no windows? No air conditioning? Staff service is poor. Generally the inside of the building needs an update....
My first job was here in the late 1980s so it is always amazing to see the constant transformation here. I used to cycle across the newly built quays area and drink at the Old Pump House in the quays...which has long since gone.
We wandered around the quays and came across just one person (a young man who asked me "Do you know where the gambling addiction place is?" I didn't but I must have looked like I did...I still wonder now if he found it? I worry too much haha! But the first step of an addiction is to admit it so this young man is already half there....I digress).
The quays were quiet and serene...It's an interesting place but more so for me for the nostalgia reasons.
Been to the BBC to see shows recorded, not yet been to ITV to see the new coronation Street, Been to the street markets, seen the swimming and running events. Been around the Quays on foot and by boat. Lots to do and see, even the Blue Peter Garden.
Nice clean area and kids loved the BBC studio tour.
A brilliant place to work at but also to visit. There are quality restaurants and bars as well as coffee shops for all. The place is a joy to walk through in summer especially with family. I recommend walking through the Blue Peter Garden when the sun is out. Only a stones throw away from the Lowry so ideal for a spot of shopping too.
Lovely place, dock 10 security lady outside was absolutely fantastic.
Wonderful place with fantastic eating places with ambiance
Uninspiring buildings in a wind tunnel next to the canal. With a pointless shopping centre nearby with forgettable shops. Parking expensive and local cafes the same.
Busy part of Salford. Hot new bars and beautiful waterfront views
I live really close to Media City (I work close by) and I just love what they've done with the area. The whole place is well kept and maintained and you feel pretty safe walking around at night.
Great development of the former dock area at Salford. MediaCityUk consists of several buildings housing media and production companies together with apartments and residential blocks. The BBC and ITV have offices and production facilities here and tours are available for both areas. The plaza is a great place to chill out and soap up the atmosphere.
A very nice area of Manchester. However the Lowry does not host a great deal of shops as most people would hope for a shopping trip, it's more odd bits. And the area is VERY expensive to live/work in.
Not very engaging if you don't know any BBC programs and characters
Loved it exciting vibrant looking forward to Future.
Great outdoor space for toddlers to run about. The water needs a good cleaning though in the dock! Disgusting
Great environment , really lovely place to be. For tickets search online !
I had a wander around. Nice views, clean. Some bars and restaurants. Wouldn't recommend going if you don't have a reason to be there though!
Great atmosphere, loads going on, tonnes of food and drink options, big screen Olympic coverage, deck chairs and outdoor bar!
This location is for the coronation street tour . Fabulous surroundings .
Always a pleasant visit around here whatever time of year. Walk around and unwind. Find a bite to eat, have a coffee, meet friends, go shopping or go to the cinema. It has it all. A good time for all.
Good up and coming area often take the kids here to different events and to the Imperial War Museum
Love walking around this place. Always something to do. Enough bars and attractions around and about within walking distance. Like the imperial War museum for example.
Quite a good place. Very well connected public transport.
Sterile, homogenised environment geared primarily for corporate TV. Some food & photo opportunities but the Blue Peter garden being open to the public is a nice, if easily missed, touch.
The MediaCityUK estate continues to evolve in exciting ways. As well as many apartments and workplaces (BBC, ITV, University of Salford and many independent media companies), it is now the home to Booth's supermarket, many bars and restaurants and is really developing it's own chilled out vibe.
In the heart of the Salford quays this place is pretty and just stands out in the heart of salford. BBC, itv and Salford university are the main residents here. During summer this place is a very serene place to be.
Great place to go if you just want to shop or watch a movie. So many places to go to eat and easy to get to. There are a few parking areas and the scenery is nice as well.
What an experience to be that close to all the studios
Had a Nice walk before dinner. Nice to walk through
Amazing new development growing, expanding and becoming more interesting all the time
Great cinema. Just been refurbished. Leather reclining g seats. Different stores m an s. Gap. next. tessuti. Cadbury store. Plenty of different restaurants. Plus plenty different snack bars.
I was in town for work and ate lunch here. In summary it was good, has something of student life :)
Great place to visit if you're in Manchester, tours are great although frequently booked up months in advance
Impressive area with great atmosphere, lots of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops.
Nice area with office buildings, Lowry outlet, gardens etc. I go there for my morning and evening jogging. Relaxed atmosphere.
Amazing place to visit without a fall when in town ... beautiful displays great reataurants
Nice area, very clean although a lot of construction going on.
Great place to visit. Granada studios, ITV, Coronation Street set and a beautiful canal.
