Ordered couple of pizzas for delivery. One the delivery took almost 2hrs. 2 of course the pizzas were cold and dry. Called to complain and of course I got the runaround. Asked the lady to speak to a manager and they just hung up. Called again and was on hold about 5min. And got hung up on. Twice!! Overrated, overpriced, and the pizza taste like cardboard. This was my first time ordering and from the experience I got from it, NO THANKS. Thanks for being rude and thanks for the nasty pizzas. Consider my money a donation. Also, train your staff on common courtesy, because they sure are rude as hell!!!

Went there in December, cold out; we sat outside. High end pizza and appetizers. We loved it!

Very small menu and the food is not that great for the price. I was hoping for a bigger selection of pasta, chicken, and seafood. The bruschetta usually has large pieces of cheese, but I guess there are different ways of making it. Maybe the specialty is pizza hence why the menu is limited. First impression was upscale, but I now see it from a patio point-of-view. Maybe some soups would be nice.

Some of the best pizza in town. Try the pozzi or the sampler and choose 4 pizzas. Can't beat the open atmosphere and live music.

Great pizza but manager is very rude after a almost two hour wait for a pizza and with my grandmother in this heat all manager did was apologize because they were very busy but the waitress didn t even put in our order this one be the last time I ll be coming here.

Pizza is good and the calamari was better than I expected. They were way understaffed when we got there, which made things slow and then one of our pizzas just never came out and we had to flag down our waiter to get it taken care of. To his credit he took care of it quickly and professionally. Nothing that will keep me from coming back, back annoyances nonetheless.

Awesome pizza and great service! Ignore all of the "cheap shot" one or two star reviews from the folks who complain about the most mundane things (like the portion of a salad or having to wait 10 minutes or more on a Friday or Saturday night......seriously!) Look, the pizzas, drinks and atmosphere are great. That's all you need to know. I recommend the Little Hottie. Go check it out!

It was uncomfortable, because the AC, was not working. Food and service was great.

The pizzas were ok but over priced in my opinion. The atmosphere was fun with live music and seating outdoors. A great place to meet up with friends and unwind from a busy day.

Excellent pizza (I like the 'little hottie'), decent beer selection, and great outdoor seating under the lights. We've always gone when they have live music and the whole family has a blast.

Two tips: call ahead seating for fri/sat; and they allow you to bring your own bottle of wine (we always forget. Luckily they have a good selection).

They charged me $4 extra for a two topping (Canadian bacon and pineapple) pizza because they said it was a specialty Hawaiian. A specialty pizza that just happens to not be on the menu. Also their pizza is gross.

Receipt says the waiter was Conner. We were with a large group. I went up to the cashier to pay and she agreed with me. Then Conner stepped in and went on about how it's an off-menu special. Very tacky. Also, I moved my kids to a near by table because the group got too big. I guess it was another waiter's table (some guy in a plaid flannel) and he proceeded to argue about it with our waiter in front of us.

I don't usually post reviews, especially bad ones but your people need training. We will not be back.

Ordered pizza tonight around at 7 pm. It was my first time trying them. They said the pizza would be ready in 25 minutes got there they said there would still be 15 minutes and waited. Then again checked in for my order they said food wasn't ready because they ran out of material to make my pizza so there was another 15 minutes to wait. Long story short two pizzas and waited over an hour to get the pizza. So disappointed in the customer service. Thank you so much for the amazing experience

Frank is the Man!! The bartender from Queens, NY busted my balls about the Pats but I forgave him since he is really from Long Island.

Huge shout out to Fralo's! We placed an on-line order yesterday and had a few "glitches" with it. Despite the fact that one of the mistakes with the order was MY fault, the staff at Fralo's went above and beyond to make our order right. In the end, everything in our order was delicious and the staff at Fralo's couldn't have been more accommodating. Thank you for the extraordinary customer service and wonderful meal!

It was my first time there and all the servers, bartender and owner were stellar. I got there just a few min before closing and they weee kind enough to go ahead and take my order, the bartender had to go to the back to get a new bottle of wine I wanted a glass of. The calamari was so good, as was the bruschetta.
I wished I d gotten there earlier so I could have heard more of the band. It was a neat place, and I loved the outdoor seating. I ll be back.

Love this place! They offer many great pizza, salad and appetizer options. The outdoor seating is quaint and enjoyable. They also offer great customer service! I highly recommend !

My husband and I absolutely LOVE Italian food, and after a long day meeting with our new landlord , driving around to other Italian places just to find they where closed; We found Fralos! Made the point to make the 30 minutes drive north to eat. The pizza was AWESOME!! we will definitely be back!

Fralo's... This is the only Pizza spot in SA We really look forward going to... Their location in Leon Springs, just up the road from the Dominion, is an iconic outdoor location for folks from Boerne to San Antonio.
Live music on the weekends makes this a great spot for family and friends to hang out. We ask for our favorite server, Connor, who brings customer engagement to a whole new level. All in all, every visit to Fralo's is a memorable event.
The craft beer menu is great... We have our favorite appetizers. The Formaggio Di Capra- warm goat
-cheese and bread plate is a great pair with a good beer and it gets the evening started off right.
The Pizza Menu is an original and we haven't found a combo that isn't excellent.
Whether it's friends from out of town, a party or a chill evening with family, put Fralo's on your must go list!

Pizza is nothing special. It took an hour to get our food! Others arriving after us got there's before we got ours. Thin crust pizza should not take that long.

Love the pizza and atmosphere. Was also impressed with the live music. That was unexpected. Will def be spending more time here at the bar.

Live music and a charming, rustic outdoors atmosphere combined with tasty thin crust pizzas.

I got the create your own pizza and the kids got the cheese tortellini. Everything was delicious!!! Shocked it came out to $60 specially when the kids portion was very small and it didn't say how much the 12 inch pizza was on the menu ($20). The topping was also $2 a topping... yikes. The kids drinks were the same price as a regular adult drink too. That was disappointing

I ordered 15 different pizzas they other night with all sorts awesome exotic toppings. Kudos to the delivery driver who was quick, friendly and efficient. Fralos has been an sensational restaurant that cares and gives back (just ask the Zoo!) in our Leon Springs community and we better for it. I believe Trump at one point said Fralos is making Leon Springs Great Again. Viva Fralos!

Order a salad over the phone and portions are small. Good flavor but portion wise very miserable.

A lot of fun. Service was beyond excellent! Food was great! Tried the sampler pizza. All four selections were great! Going to try others next time! The crowd was great as well!!! Sitting outside with the breeze of the fans, the music, all of the whole experience...a couple of hours of vacation!

Had a great night at Fralo s tonight! Loved the gluten free selection, and our waiter, Connor (the guy with the NY accent), was very attentive! He was there when we needed him, but not overbearing or intrusive like some waiters at other places we have encountered. Will definitely be back!

Stopped in because they were dog friendly. Stayed for the great food and decent wine selection. The tomato basil bruschetta was very nice. What can I say about the pizza but wow. I highly recommend for first time visitors or date night getting the sampler. The sampler is a large pizza with your choice of two slices each from the signature pizza menu. They have a larger patio and cozy interior. If you're heading out I-10 towards Boerne, pop in and give them a try.

I have eaten here before and loved it. We got good service and the food was great. We decided to eat here again and it was completely different. The guy that sat us was very friendly but the server was lacking. It took awhile for him to come and take our orders the first time. We told him we needed just a few more minutes.... 10-15 minutes later he still had not returned. We finally just got up and left to find somewhere else to eat that actually wanted our business. I was so disappointed because I really did want to eat there. The guy that sat us did offer us a free pizza.. But by that time I was irritated and didn't want to deal with it.

The ambience is great, but the food quality is a little bland/leaves you wanting. They offer a few pastas, a good selection of pizzas and a few craft local beers. Our service was subpar, the waiter took his time with mostly everything (greeting, taking our orders, processing the check). We probably won't be back, but the pizza is worth a shot if you find your way out here.

Great place; has taken active precautions for COVID-19 and steps to ensure social distancing. Restaurant dining is outdoors, and the tables are set up well apart. All staff members wear masks. Menu is online; you scan a QR code on your phone to access it, minimising your requirement to touch a paper menu. We needed a high chair, and noticed that they sanitized it before bringing it to us. Besides that, the food is always excellent, with good beer and wine menus. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and considerate. Has bands playing live music some nights. Beautiful ambiance. Ample parking spaces.

Worst delivery service ever ... I literally live 2 miles away from them and they took 2 hours ...

I'd give the food five stars as it is always delicious. I'm a bit concerned that the people that make the pizza do not wear gloves while handling the toppings or making the crust. I thought this was required in all restaurants. It won't stop me going as I'm addicted to their pizza.

Love, love, love Fralos. The ability to enjoy great food under the stars, with your own bottle of wine and even with our little dog, is really, really unique.

Laid back, good services and wonderful food. We love Fralo's.

We even held a laid-back rehearsal dinner outdoors during our wedding week and it was a hit with the people who travelled in!

It's a cool atmosphere when the weather is nice. We sat outside under the tent, there was a dude playing acoustic guitar and doing cover songs.

The pizza was delicious. There were 4 of us so we got 2 large pies half and half so that we could try 4 different types. The Espanola, The B.O.M, Little Hottie, and some pizza with wild game Italian sausage were all great.

Grab a couple pitchers of beer and enjoy!

We tried to be first time customers this evening and placed an online delivery prefer at 630 for over $100. We have 10 people in our home expecting dinner. I received a call almost an hour later to inform me my order would not be fulfilled because they just closed and even if they had not they did not have the sauce for the pizzas. I understand with the holiday hours vary but a call right away would have been better service as it is almost 8 on New Year's Eve and we are scrambling to order dinner. We have always wanted to try this place since we live right down the street but because of this we will never be trying it again.

Great atmosphere outside especially in the fall and winter when it gets a little cooler. Food is good and staff is always friendly.

Wow! I wish I could give it more than five stars because it's at least a 10 in my book. We had half "Traditional" (it's the one with everything on it) and half pepperoni. All the ingredients are fresh and yummy. It is mostly outside seating and pets are more than welcome. Fralos is perfect for families or dates. The food is to die for. We drive 30 minutes to eat there .

Really good food. I love that you can BYOB but they do have a nice selection of beers. It's mostly outdoors so not so fun when it's hot and humid which is most of the time in SA but if you like hot weather and don't mind sitting outside for dinner, then this place is a good place to visit. The parking situation can be better and it's hard to push a stroller through the pebbles.

It was ok at best. Nothing great but not terrible. The place itself is actually very nice, but the food could use improvement.

The wings were pretty good, but the mozzarella sticks seemed like they weren't cooked enough. The pizza didnt have enough sauce or basil for a margherita and wasnt the most flavorful I've had.

All in all I always like to try a place twice before I give up on it, so I'll definitely give this place another shot.

Came here for a birthday dinner, pizzas are great very different from usual affair. Byob is a nice touch if you want too. But they do have a good selection of beers and wines. Nice atmosphere, being outdoors there is a fair number of cats. our group enjoyed seeing them though.

This review will be about my first experience at the restaurant itself. I have already eaten pizza from Fralo s once before and considered them above average as an establishment for the one pizza I have had before. Not convenient of a drive for me so I never go. My girlfriend and I wanted to place an order so we called around 6:30 on a Friday night and being left ringing for three and a half minutes we realized we could order online. We ordered one app and two pizzas. Paid online with an estimated wait time of 50 minutes. It works for us - we get to Fralo s and the first impression I get is disorganized chaos. From the parking, to the gravel play kid area, to servers rushing out of doors flinging open and hitting the same wooden spot. I see children running around completely haphazardly thinking it s a party. Entering the main area you walk into a what immediately makes you think you dropped acid and you re now in a dive bar and at the whim of the bartender and patrons nearby. Standing in line for several minutes before noticing the man in front of us is instead just on his phone and not waiting at all. We get to finally speak with the bartender and she somehow cannot find our order and tells us it s gotta be another name. I guess we forgot our own names? They find this one ticket and I get this gut feeling the pizza has not been started at all. Her and I try to move out of the constant wave of servers running back in forth between doors like it s a scooby doo montage. I pan over and see two pizzas that look suspiciously like the pizzas we order that are just now being put into the oven. Why did I order online? We waited 15 minutes. After what was an hour and ten minute wait from online order to pick up. Both pizza seemed lukewarm and the app we ordered mozzarella sticks were soggy. I m incredibly disappointed in the entire experience and one experience I won t be forgetting.

I rarely write reviews (Especially negative ones), but my wife and I tried Fralo s Pizza for the first time earlier this evening, and as soon as we got home we both were feeling sick. I actually had to let my job know I wouldn t be able to make it tomorrow because I been running back and forth to the restroom, and see no sign of slowing down tonight (Past midnight). The place was polite and very attentive, but they were not paying attention to order details. We asked for lite pizza sauce, and got none on our pizza (Ended up having to order and pay for sauce on the side). My wife asked the cashier for Powerade, and was given Hi-C. What honestly made it feel worse, was seeing how the pizza was literally dripping grease (I had to dab the grease off and let it drip). I honestly was hoping for a better experience. Once I picked up an order for someone else there, and it smelled good. The environment looked very nice (Which it is). Just felt it was necessary to warn others the risk of getting sick before going their first time. I m sure it s not something that always happens to everyone, but making people sick shouldn t ever happen. I don t even want any offers to come back, it just left a bad taste in my mouth.

The place is very nice. Wooden tables and benches with umbrellas and live music make the perfect setting to share with family and friends. The waiters service can improve a lot. The pizzas are acceptable.

I like the outdoor environment and setting and how I can play around before dinner

My wife and I were with eight other people. We had driven 160 miles to be with family at dinner. While the others ordered pizza, my wife ordered the shrimp spaghetti and I ordered the meat lasagne. Our group was about done with their pizza and my wife and I had not been served. The waiter finally came out and told my wife it would be a "couple of minutes", but mine would take another seven or eight minutes. He said I could order a salad and it would be "on the house". I had no menu, so I just said I'll take a spinach salad. At least I would have something while waiting for the lasagne. Little did I know the lasagne would never come. I didn't finish the spinach salad since I was waiting for the lasagne. Finally, the bill came. The waiter pointed out that I was not charged for the lasagne (gee...no kidding). Adding insult to injury, Fralos had the nerve to add an 18% tip on my bill!! A TIP??? FOR WHAT????? At least we stopped for dinner on the way home. I will avoid this poor excuse for the restaurant in the future.

I had been wanting to try Fralos for quite a while, was craving a good pizza, but I was GREATLY disappointed. The food was mediocre, with very few toppings, and we were "accidentally" overcharged for BOTH the food and the wine. We had one 10 in pizza, one 16 inch pizza, and three glasses of wine, total was $96....when we questioned the manager he got nervous and recalculated the correct total was $84 Last night we had dinner at Piattis, total bill $127, for 4 people with appetizers, drinks AND dessert with excellent food and great service. Don't waste your money at Fralos. Next time I will stick with California Pizza Kitchen or BJs, where the food is fresher, with more generous toppings, and fairly priced.

The sweet young lady cashier who helped with my to go order was super nice, cheerful and made me feel very taken care of. What a super employee!

I had heard good things about this place, so we decided to give it a try and went with two other families. Every one of our pizzas was burnt, they redid two of them, and the pizzas were still over cooked. The waiter said they had gotten a new oven, and that was throwing things off, but the pizza was just not very good because the crust was so burnt and hard. Between the three of our families we easily spent over $300, and more thoroughly disappointed in the pizza we received, especially given that the pizza is so expensive in the first place, you expected it will be at least somewhat edible.

I've been coming to this place for years. The last time I was there I didn't have a great experience. I waited around for a very long time for somebody to come and take my order it took so long that I actually have to walk inside and ask them if there was any service outside. It's really disappointing when great restaurant Staples like these start losing stars because of service. The food was good the Ambiance is always great but the service here has always been lacking.

A prime example of how service really effects the way your brand and your image is impacted can easily be told by my experience here a couple of months ago. One of the servers spilled wine all over my friend and the only thing they could do to mediate the problem was paid for her dry cleaners. There was no offering two alleviate the situation bye telling us the meal was free especially because of the big inconvenience she had to go through and go home and change. The night was ruined simply because of an incompetent management or service people that don't know how to take care of their patrons. What a sad sad world we live in when the customer is treated like a number.

Also my first time there tonight like a previous poster. Ordered and waited. After a little while, the waiter came back and said it could be up to an hour. What? I would have gone somewhere else and not waited 15 min and into drinks if they would have told me when they seated us. Still tipped waiter for what our ticket would have been, even though we only did appetizer and drinks in an hour. Not his fault. We tried to wait, but needed to leave. Cancelled pizza at about an hour and left, they still had not started making it. Disappointed for the drive and still have not had the pizza. Oh well.

Like the fact that got to see some of the Spurs players eating at the same place
