We stayed in the Larbitella residence, in the ancient village of Rovere. It is an apartment on three floors lovingly restored maintaining the original materials. A little 'uncomfortable attic but very appreciated by the children. Breakfast includes sweet and salty, courteous staff. The only drawback is the discomfort of the streets for the car and to take into account the uphill road or the steps to get there. If not there is bad weather, it is very pleasant, in case of rain or snow everything gets complicated!

It is waking up in the morning and finding the wicker basket hanging on the door with breakfast in it, warming up beside the fireplace, watching the square fill with snow and then children playing, waiting for the sunset between the snowy peaks ... The widespread hotel has residences in Rovere di Rocca di Mezzo, a village perfectly restored after the earthquake in L'Aquila, in a splendid position between Rocca di Mezzo and Ovindoli. From Rovere we depart for simple walks or for more challenging routes between the Sirente and the Velino. The residence Masonry where I stayed for two nights can accommodate four people with two beautiful bathrooms, kitchen with fireplace, perfectly clean. The defects, however, have manifested themselves in the inaccurate maintenance of the residence which needs technical interventions that a plumber and an electrician can solve in a couple of hours. It should be noted that the breakfast that is brought in the morning into a basket could be significantly improved. The breakfast is influenced by style, lack of local products, although abundant. In our case we learned only at the start that we had not been given coffee powder. The reception was courteous and efficient. It is advisable to first request the location of the booked residence because some are a few hundred meters away from the parking area at very well restored stairs. The organization of the Robur guarantees help with luggage. Finally, their willingness to accept four-legged guests should be noted.
For the area in question we are on a very high standard ..... if you are positioned on the upper part of the town as in all historical centers it could be a problem to park .... good assistance from the kids at the reception

Unfortunately, an excellence until a few years ago. Arrive and have to leave for arrogance. Room with broken television a problem of ours .. Shuttle service after 8 o'clock does not exist .. So you can not move from rooms to dine .. All this is not said before booking. Customers are used to the service of Fabio and nausika. Hospitality is not your job. All seasoned with a good dose of rudeness.

I spent a weekend at Oak. The apartment where we were guests (Zia Maria Josefa) is really nice and welcoming. There is a large entrance hall with kitchen and a beautiful solid wood table for breakfast. A living room with sofa and fireplace, a very nice bathroom and a large bedroom. Good breakfast served in a basket that is left outside the door at the requested time. Very kind Anna who has satisfied our every request. Absolutely recommended!

Staff extremely available. very nice apartments. In the evening we asked for a meal in the apartment in no time they arranged for a great dinner. Thank you. I can only give advice. Provide more wood and above all the idea of breakfast in the basket is very nice but the contents are a bit lacking.

The place looks like a crib village. With the snow it becomes even more suggestive. The widespread hotel has many rooms that are rural houses with modern furnishings but appropriate to the place. I recommend spending at least one or two nights to experience the peace of a beautiful Apennine landscape.
Oak is a fantastic location and the popular hotel is a wonderful idea to experience such a beautiful place. Suitable for resting and relaxing but also excellent in winter for skiing and in all other seasons for taking walks, small hikes and everything the valley offers
An absolutely exceptional and excellent Albergo Diffuso structure considering the area and the inclusion of the beautiful and excellently furnished structures in the context of the historic Borgo di Rovere. A little uncomfortable access in the months of snow but some relaxation and full tranquility are assured. Recommended

The widespread hotel offers a small apartment in the small village of Rovere. I found the price a little high compared to what the hotel offers. However, it offers a nice dive in a village of other times. I see it more suited to summer than winter.
The apartments are very nice even if dark, but unfortunately the management is not the best. We had a problem with ants in the evening and no one answered the phone (luckily they were in the living room and not in the room). The problem was only handled the next morning. The camping cot was left at the entrance and my husband had to move it to his room, along some narrow stairs. It was also not perfectly clean and housekeeping in general was not that great. Having a small child we requested that they be done in the morning, but they were unable to organize themselves well and on 7 days the cleaning was missing for 2 days. The Wi-Fi connection is there, but it's not working. The place is not the best for internet connectivity, but when I asked over the phone they told me there was no problem. The staff weren't very clear with recommendations for places to visit around there and we had to search the internet for ourselves. Finally, the apartment had a terrace and on the phone I was told that you could have breakfast there ... but there was no table or chairs. In short ... too expensive for the services / quality offered.
