The afternoon tea was absolutely amazing! But unfortunately the spa day was not so good. The place smelled like damp, there were tiles missing in the pool, mould in the changing room and the steam room had a fishy odor! I do believe they are having a refurbishment next year which is very much needed!!! I'm giving it three stars for the afternoon tea and the staff! Lovely.

Absolutely love this place! Afternoon tea was amazing. The team are so pleasant and happy to help. I have booked my wedding here also and James and David the wedding event organizing team are just unreal! They listen to every detail and make sure you get it! I cant wait for our big day here! Xx

Desperately needed a break..we booked the Foxfields Country Hotel, because, well just because.
It was brilliant.

I can't say enough about the wonderful staff there. Beth (in the restaurant) was a delight. As in fact they all were.
James went that extra mile. When we got to our room, there was a slight hiccup. Not prepared to discuss it here. Anyway James sorted it and we were delighted.

James, Beth and Emily, well all the staff, helped us make it the break we needed. We enjoyed ourselves so much we have booked to go back, in the same room, in October. We are so looking forward to it.

My advice....give this hotel a try, you won't be disappointed.

One small point to make, the disabled room would get 100% satisfaction with a wet room and a ramp to the outside area.

Stayed one night at Foxfields, arriving at lunch time Saturday 22.02.20. There was 6 of us (3 couples). All the staff are very polite and welcoming. The rooms are lovely, large and have a separate lounge area with settee, TV and balcony. The beds are very comfortable. The views across the hills are lovely. Unfortunately the weather wasn't too kind. However it didn't stop us from walking into the nearby, picturesque village of Whalley. We returned and had dinner in the hotel's Aritsan restaurant; buzzing atmosphere, great cocktails and the food is absolutely amazing with good sized portions. All reasonably priced. I highly recommend Foxfields, we were all very impressed, will definitely return and plan to stay for more than one night. Nothing to complains about whatsoever.
