I love to come here for breakfast with my friends. I've never really eaten at a British restaurant in Sacramento and it's my favorite place to come when I want corned beef hash and the scone with cream! The service is great.

Can be a long wait but food is delicious. Olallieberry sconeswith clotted cream and lemon curd were delicious! The service was a bit chaotic where people seated after us had their order taken before us but when we flagged someone down they explained servers don t always know who was seated first and kindly expedited our order. Outside seating on the patio doesn t have heat lamps but you can seated quickly on a cold day or wait up to an hour for a seat inside.

Love the interior. Brick, wood and plants in the windows. Service was personable and friendly. Bar at the front with general seating then more general seating in a separate area. Enjoyed my Full English breakfast and Ollale Berry Scone.

The food is great and mostly traditional however the wait time is obscenely long so if you're determined to get a British breakfast it's a good place to go but only if you want to spend 3 hours here

Loved the atmosphere here from the historical building to the British pub decor. Couldn't resist sitting outside on this sunny day, but wandered through to enjoy the look and feel. Our short wait for seating was well worth it as the food was delicious. Pasties were not as good an my Aunt Florence's, but held their own quite well. Took another two to-go, yum! Menu accommodated two teen boys with their choosiness and appetites. Service to the patio was spotty, but it was a full house that day. Definitely want to go back for an evening visit. Lots of good energy here.

I ve been here before and during COVID and every time the staff have been friendly, attentive, and quick. The food is exceptional and priced fairly well. Parking isn t much of an issue but if any nearby neighborhood events are going on, you might have a walk.

I always almost have a great breakfast here, there is usually one thing off with my breakfast, 4th time in a row with last visit. I went with my wife we ordered the mini scones, they came out and at first they were ok but after they cooked a little they became overly dry and hard which means they were microwaved which you cant do, invest in a bread warmer they keep biscuit/scones and such light and fluffy not a bunch of rock scones . As far as service always a great.

Wow, wow, WOW! My daughter and I gave the Fox & Goose Public House a spin and we were quite happy with everything about it. The breakfast fare was quite well done and a sidestep different from customary breakfast fare in America (full English breakfast anyone?), the ambiance and English pub zeitgeist was spot on, even the ladies bathrooms are noteworthy (the perfect blend of British full walls and full doors on each stall and American paper products). Airy and bright (it is located in sunny California) with the genuine UK touches and food offerings, the Fox & Goose will be on our regular rotation when I visit my daughter in Sacramento. I, for one, really want to have more of those freshly baked scones and Devonshire cream (It's pronounced Devon-sure . . . not shire, my fellow Americans).

Went for brunch around 10 on a Monday it was a lot more relaxed than the weekend. We were sat very fast and had drinks right away. Our food was out with very little wait time and everyone was friendly and professional.

The food is great. One of my favorite brunch spots on the weekend. They have rearrange somethings since covid-19. They have additional seating in this nice room adjacent to their building. Usually a wait of 10-20 minutes on weekends.

This place is over rated. Our waiter had a subtle passive aggressive attitude which gave me a bad vibe. I ordered steak sandwich and my wife ordered corn beef hash. Our food came out fast and it was apparent that not much in terms of quality was put into my food. My steak was tough, no seasoning, and just flat out tasted like a piece of rotting meat.

On the other hand, my wife's corn beef hash was decent and my side salad was decent. Won't be returning here.

This is one of my favorite places in Sacramento to get brunch. It's an old building with the feel and decor of a British pub. They have a good selection of beer on tap. The food is always tasty. I especially like their scones with Devonshire cream.

Be aware that it is often busy and there is often a wait. So if you are in a hurry it might not be the best place. But if you have time to enjoy yourself, then it's a great place.

If you're looking for a classic English pub in the heart of midtown Sacramento- this is the place to go!

The food, staff, and ambiance are top notch. This is one of my favorite places in Midtown to go for breakfast and I always bring a few friends with me.

I have actually been to the Fox & Goose several times as I love their food. However, today I experienced the WORST bar service ever. I was standing in front the bar tender for several minute and he was preparing drinks for tables. I understood so I patiently waited. However, once he was done he walked over to some patrons that had already been served checked in on them and came back over totally ignored me again. Another bar tender came from the back, I immediately asked him if he can make 2 drinks for me. He then looked at the other bar tender asking him if he is handling the table tabs and then said yes I am but you can help them. Both bar tenders need training in being more friendly and tentative, after all you are dealing with people all day. HumanKind, be BOTH!!

Atmosphere and wall swag is awesome, food and price are so-so. Always great for a early morning get together with coworkers or friends on days where it's not packed. It can be a mess on weekends with long waits and packed entry way, which I like to avoid.

I love breakfast at Fox and goose! The service was attentive, as always, and the food was perfect. They still serve breakfast during lunch hours, so if you're looking for a mid week brunch, Fox and Goose has your back.
