Subject: I was DRUGGED during my stay at the Ocean Club Bahamas, A Four Seasons Hotel!

My stay at this hotel was the worst hotel experience ever leading up to the last day. Adding insult onto injury, I was drugged with extremely high amounts of THC while eating breakfast at Dune (the hotel restaurant). Then I had to get rushed to the emergency room to get an IV and find out through a toxicology report that I had been drugged. I, along with my family, thought I was dying. To be clear, I did not knowingly consume any THC or other drugs during my stay.

WHAT HAPPENED
The hotel had the worst service throughout the week. In a respectful way I told the general manager, the restaurant manager, along with a number of other people that asked throughout the trip.

Service in the restaurant was the most sub-par I ve ever had at a Four Seasons.

The accommodations and quality of improvements were also sub-par. This hotel needs a significant renovation to the rooms and common areas.

On my final day, I woke up feeling great. I had breakfast at Dune, ordering the same thing I ordered the previous 6 days I was there, before my family was scheduled to leave for the airport. About 30-45 minutes after eating, I was in a van to the airport with my 4 and 9 year old sitting next to me. I became light-headed and was losing control of my body. I told my family and the van driver that I needed to go to the hospital as I thought I was dying! This was the closest to death I ve ever been, and I hope no other families have to ever experience this.

I am one of Four Seasons most loyal clients, and I have had VIP status for years. After contacting hotel management along with Four Seasons corporate, they did not want to take responsibility for what happened.

MY REQUEST
I was told by the head of security for the hotel that they have 250 cameras on the property that see everything. I requested that the hotel review the cameras in the kitchen because I did not consume any food that morning other than at Dune, and given the timing of the onset of my symptoms, the THC must have come from the food I ate at Dune. However, I was told that they do NOT have cameras in the kitchen. Not surprisingly, the Four Seasons said they found no evidence to support my allegations.

As my goal was to identify who did the drugging, I OFFERED A CASH REWARD OF $5,000-$10,000 OUT OF MY OWN POCKET. I told the hotel to offer the employees this reward for information leading to the drugging. This request was denied by the Four Seasons.

Not only was the service and accommodations horrible at this hotel, but then I get drugged at breakfast. I would have never expected this at a Four Seasons.

I hope that no one has to ever go through what I experienced at the Ocean Club Bahamas, A Four Seasons Hotel!

Beautiful location, lovely rooms, quite atmosphere, delicious foods and excellent service.

Absolute ripp-off place. Was there last week, nothing included in the extreme high overnight accommodation price. Breakfast with eggs, bread, granola, fruit, tea, coffee for two over 100 US! Wild pigeons are constantly on the tables, because the service is so slow and the tables are not cleaned quick enough when guests leave after breakfast. Pigeons are sitting and eating in the bread baskets which they use again the next day....horrible. Unfriendly and arrogant service all over the complex. The reason could be that 50 percent of the guests are loud Russians. At 10am all sun loungers around the pool at the beach front are completely occupied. The little fitness gym is a joke. Never again!

Definitely the best hotel of the island! Everything is perfect! Not crowded, excellent service, delicious restaurants, beautiful park. By the way, this hotel was filmed by Jays Bond Casino Royal

We visited the Ocean Club on the final day of our Honeymoon and it is breathtaking and well worth it - there is nothing else in the Bahamas like it. We visited St. Barth, Ritz Carlton Grand Caymans, the Cove Atlantis and the Ocean Club all in one week and this is our favorite place. Everything is magical and personal and you can still manage to get a deal if managed properly. A+++++ World-Class Five-Star Experience.

This property is truly breathtaking and from the moment we arrived that was our immediate thought. The beach is stunning and the waves make for a great audio backdrop when you're by the beach-front infitity pool or on the patio at Dune. The room was also stellar and we have absolutely no complaints.

We brought our dog with us and the staff treated all 3 of us like royalty, with the chef even making our dog homemade food when we ran low. Our butler Nelson was an absolute professional and everything we needed was a quick text away. Management was also great, in particular Sharon made us feel right at home (we connected on our love of dogs right away).

The only downside for us (and you'll note I am still giving this a 5 star review but wanted to be honest) was the gym facilities were quite outdated. I realize many people probably don't work out on vacation but if you're like us and you do, the gym was a bit of a bummer. I imagine this will be updated at some point in the future though as it doesn't seem to match the rest of the ammenities. Tennis courts were in rough shape also but again I imagine this is on their list. Let's just say it's no Baha Mar in terms of sports facilities.

All in all though -we would 100% return and definitely plan to!

A very nice setting but the service was lacking a bit.

A classic and not just because it's an 007 haunt. The laid back carefree elegance is hard to beat, difficult to find elsewhere. The rooms are very spacious and very comfortable, even in the old wing. Drop dead gorgeous beach and pool area. Jean Georges has always been one of my favorite chefs. Expensive, but worth every penny.

Absolutely beautiful property, did charge you for almost every little extra thing. The food was pretty good. Property itself was just absolutely beautiful. And the staff was wonderful and very responsive to everybody's needs

This is the best restaurant on the property (in our opinion, in the entire area actually) yet it is only open for lunch. The food, drinks, ambience and service are phenomenal.

Had the three cheese, lobster, and corn pizza. The food was excellent and the waiters were very polite and on top of everything.

The Ocean Club has all what you need and reflects the Bahamas...friendly people, good food, great service and a luxurious atmosphere!

With splendid care and excellent preventive measures in times of COVID, this Four Seasons signature hotel gives us views of the spectacular sea of Nassau and beautiful gardens to walk between pools and luxury Villas.
Very comfortable rooms with a terrace for having breakfast outdoors and spacious bathrooms.
They need a modernized furniture and equipment but the place is very good!

People were exceptional. Property was beautiful. Dune had some great staff. Was a bit cold on our visit though but the adult and family pool made up for the beach time we lost.

The four seasons arranged a boat trip with a 3rd party vendor for us, however the boat could not go out that day because of high seas. It has been over a year and we have not been refunded and the four seasons staff has had limited responses continuing to say that they are looking into it and then will go silent for a month. Correspondence and service has been terrible for a trip they arranged and recommended (out $13k for a trip we couldn t take). Not the type of service you would expect.

Went to spa for a massage. Great massage. However, massage finished and I didn t even have time to open my eyes and told to get out because they had another customer. Overall, nice property and only ok service. No real presence of any leadership on the property

We stayed at the Atlantis, but booked a private dinner here since it was nearby. When I first tried to book it took about a week just to get confirmation for the booking for 4/09. Once it was confirmed I asked to change the date to 4/08 and Grea responded saying it was ok. On the day of the private I tried to call to make sure our reservation was still on. The front desk was unable to get a hold of anybody and took down my number and was told that someone would call me back. I did not get a return call and I knew something was not right. Once we arrived they let us in and was told to go down to the beach area and there was a couple already having their private dinner and the waiters were confused. Grea came down and told us that I booked it for 4/09. I didn't have my phone either because prior to this someone took my phone when we were at Sapphire Blue Cove in Eleuthera, so I couldn't get to my emails to show her that she did say it was ok to change. We did try to stay and enjoy a dinner at least, but my girlfriend was just not happy as she seen how nice that private dinner would have been. So we just decided to take the dinner to go. Laura the general manager said that they would comp this dinner and when we got the food to go we got a bill. So we ended up paying for the dinner and didn't get our private dinner. They said that their upper management couldn't do anything since I didn't have proof of the change request. I told Laura once I get back to my hotel I can send that confirmation and she gave me her card to include her in the email. Once I got back I gave the confirmation and was still denied by Grea even though I showed them the email. So yeah not coming here again for anything.

The restaurant by the pool is a big time scam esp the waiter who tried to charge me for a different type of drink. Check your receipts carefully.

Long way to go to get to Four Season standards. Property is beautiful.

The hotel is beautiful and very luxurious. A real redore of dreams. The service is excellent.

The staff honestly is doing a great job. They were super friendly and professional. We were greeted by name when we arrived and offered drinks and checked in on quite a bit. I only encountered one person who wasn t nice and genuinely wanted to make sure we had a good time and she happened to be a manager.

Our room was always promptly cleaned and had no issues there.

Dune was excellent - food and service-wise. The other bar was small but nice.

The property is very pretty, but yes, could prob use a bit of an update.

Beach was amazing. No issues getting chairs at all. Service was great too. If you ever complain about the beach just look to your left and notice the difference.

Adult pool is chill. Our massage was great.

The whole paradise island is very pretty and having the bikes and biking to the golf course was fun!

The GM happened to be there a couple of days. Also it s nice you can use all of Atlantis and they offer shuttles and super fast dinner reservations. We might come back soon!

The staff could not be more friendly! The location of the property is fantastic. The rooms in the Hartford wing are showing their age a little but were impeccably clean and very comfortable. The food is hit or miss but generally ok as long as you don't customize the dish too much.

I was swimming at the beach here and they asked me to move, which was irritating because its a public beach, but, they treat the beach in front of their property as if it is their own. I was staying at another place down the beach and was walking up and down the north shore throughout the day and was harassed by their staff to leave the area. It was upsetting and disappointing considering I wasn't making a scene or bothering the area accommodates. I would recommend only the pretentious.

This is an absolutely a lovely resort. Expensive yes, but worth it. I found staff to be so nice and property kept meticulously. We have been here 4-5 times and are going back again in September.

Our butler Warren made this trip so special. He knew we were having a baby so he designed an elephant towel with a baby bottle in front of it, so thoughtful and so fun. This resort is quiet and perfect for couples.

I love the beach staff they are very nice helpful and very pleasant. They are very hard working! They make you feel welcome everyday your there.

Beautiful location for those who want a respite from the hustle and bustle of Atlantis

After a sub-par stay at another resort during our honeymoon, my wife and I came here after talking to some of the staff about our experience so far. The staff was extremely welcoming, and promptly made up an ocean view room for us, gave us a nice bottle of champagne and strawberries, and made our honeymoon an unforgettable experience. The Ocean Club has truly made a customer for life and I highly recommend coming here for a stay.
Due to COVID 19, only Dune was open for meals however the food was excellent and the staff truly seems to care about your experience. Thank you Ocean Club staff for making our trip great!

Soften your expectations if you're looking for Four Seasons standards. The Versailles garden, the staff and the beach will win you over. The facilities need an overhaul as we've had water leaks and other distractions. Dune restaurant is great for breakfast and lunch, but dinner was totally average for the prices.

This place is out of the price range of most. However, if you still want to drink a martini where James Bond did, the bar does allow walk-ins. Don't be intimidated by the guard gate.

Overall we enjoyed stay. I would say since everywhere we go and they are charge without even permission 15% service fees (gratuity) was not cool. I know it is illegal. On that metter, some stuff had a little attitude on service at Dunes(the one and only good restaurant). Stuff was little with attitude(why not, the tips were already there).Prices at restaurant were expencive, so as a taxi drivers offer and promote to use their local places to eat(by saying it's better for community getting money back), maybe we should of done that (not sure if we would of get sick thought, by seeing condition of local restaurants).I personally think that suites rooms were over priced.For the room number 2-018 we paid with fees and taxes around 1k and we did not even have pool outside, not cool at all.This place makes alot of money, owner is from S Africa, good for him.Did I like the property as I like Four Season, almost, but not quiet the same.Would I reccomend anyone to try, yes, if you have extra cash to blow.We had reserved month ahead slice of Birthday surprice cake at Dunes.Did we get it, of course not. When we asked what happened front desk stuff said we thought it would be whole cake, so they are just brought the dessert menu. Just great for 1K at night.Well, everybody said we are sorry, but does it counts, oh well, maybe a little.We ate every day at Atlantis.Good thing about free transportation of 5 min from one hotel to another(same company).Gosh, this is the longest review I wrote. Have fun!

Amazing view and hotel. We went there as outsiders so i am only rating the bar where we spent the night. Service was quite slow, they ought to do better considering they are four seasons hotel

Beautiful resort with excellent service. The rooms are pretty, the ocean views are amazing, and the beds are comfortable. Private access to a beach with white sand and crystal blue water. There are 3 unique pools on property and each is well maintained and warm.

Always a pleasant time. Amazing staff, Drinks and food!!
Oh, and the view is incredible

I have nothing bad to say about Dune. My food exceeded my expectations, the service was spot on the ambiance was romantic and my evening was fabulous. Definitely worth a trip.

Our kids had an absolute blast at this resort. Almost had to sell a kidney to stay two weeks there, but well worth the money :)
