This is probably the best hotel room we have ever stayed in. Reception were very professional. The rooms are stunning in design and the beds are super comfortable. Cleaning staff is perfect. The amount of detail down to the shampoo and lotion is even above expectations I never even thought I had. If you have a special occasion and need a weekend get away in the city this is the hotel. This is in Yorkville so there are many things to do at night.

The Pros:.

The Pros:.
Downtown location.
Low price (*caveat, read below).
There is a Starbucks below, in the basement under the hotel which access Union station from under ground.
The Cons:
Drunk guests loitering on the floor the first night arriving to check.
Pompous door man referring to my vehicle when arriving and valet.
Valet parking (no other choice) $59 per day.
The breakfast buffet is not included ($31 per person, ouch!).
No free internet (join the membership Hotel reward to receive complimentary internet)
Arrived late afternoon, checked in and requested the bell boy too bring my bags upstairs (had to head out upon arrival). I got back to the hotel at midnight, and the room key did not work. Went to front desk, 3 times to get the key replaced. The 3rd time the front desk tried to hide from me that they wrote the wrong room number. Nice parlor trick (he"confiscated" the room card holder and said, "let me get you a fresh room card holder, this one is looking a little tired"). I was livid inside and just wanted to see they would do... Exactly, nothing.
The place is a nightmare to get in and out from because they are directly in front of Union Station. The foot traffic in the morning and at night is really daunting trying to arrive or leave the hotel by car. The people arriving or leaving are like cattle.
One last not nice stunt, play on words by the front desk on check in (I booked my room, and everything was included, all fees and taxes. Of course, parking, breakfast, internet would be extra). He tried to great talk me by saying there was a service charge he could put on my Visa credit of $35 per day and it includes breakfast for one. I questioned the service fee to him because my booking was clear (all fees included). He then said he would go ahead and waive it. Yeah, right! Dishonest business practice.

Be wary about this particular Hotel, member of the Four Seasons Hotel chain.

The environment is very clean and nice. We tried the spa services there, it is very good. They have a swimming pool and steam room. The shower room is very nice. The aromatherapy massage is good. I have Melanie, and she is very professional. It's very relaxing for the entire time.

I am resident who makes use of the spa facilities regularly. As I am there in the mornings I am always greeted by a wonderful lady named Lula.
She keeps the spa change rooms in immaculate condition. Always there to greet me with a smile and offer any assistance she can. It is a pleasure to be around her. I would highly recommend this spa to others as one of the best in Toronto.

Very nice hotel. Sets high standards and in a great location. The service is outstanding, like all four seasons, and the employees will do whatever you need. I would definitely rate this hotel 5/5!

Stayed there over 20 times so that says something however certain other high end hotels in the area are in the same league and often are half the price. My advice is shop around. The pool and spa is very nice I have to say. Staff good. Crowd is pretentious in the D bar towards the end of the week. Dj is always playing nice tunes.

My parents were staying there for my mom's birthday. We asked the reception for more wine glasses which they promptly sent up. The person who brought them up noticed it was a birthday celebration and brought us up a cake. It was such a nice surprise! We were all very happy.

This particular location was a bit disappointed compared to other Four Seasons I ve tried. The furniture in the room is a bit tired, as are the carpets and bedding. Far from stellar, barely decent in terms of room size / appointments. The elevators are also very slow, there are clearly not enough cars for the number of guests and size of the building. The service is so so, at times wonderful, but sometimes they can ignore you or just be uncourteous. For instance, I was arriving with some shopping bags in the trunk and I was clearly struggling with carrying all the bags, there were 3 people standing in front of the door and nobody offered to get a bellman to bring the bags to my room. It s the kind of great service you d expect from a 5-star property (and the high prices they command) which I did not get. I think if I stayed in a good 3-star hotel, I d get a similar experience. The only reason I didn t give them a 1 was because the restaurant in the hotel by Daniel Boulud is quite fantastic and exquisitely well done (service, food, decor). So perhaps sleep somewhere else (there are no shortage of great 5-stars in Toronto like the St. Regis, Shangri-La and Ritz Carlton) and eat at their restaurant.

The best you can find in Toronto, I recommend it, but I must admit that I found the accommodation expensive.
But without a doubt if you want to enjoy Canada to the fullest you should come here.

Hotel was nice but staff need training in equality service. Given room key with no instructions for the elevator yet Male coworkers were told and they were walked to the elevators. Doors opened and males asked if they wanted a car called for them also wished a good day, witness none of this for female guests it was obvious enough to notice inequality, I normally don't notice stuff like this but this hotel I did.

The hotel is near perfect. The GM goes out of his way. As a critic this is a business professionals fortress.

Daniels restaurants however keeps getting makeovers, but maybe the food should do. Same old rich sauces are just not sexy anymore. And the pastry is stuck in 90 s

The setting of the hotel, especially the spa, is absolutely beautiful. I opted for a camellia body ritual. The moment was simply divine. The rest room is so comfortable, and the dried fruits and ginger tea so delicious that I had a hard time leaving! Thank you for your performance up to my expectations.

We were here for dinner at the restaurant. The Green P parking is steps away at a reasonable rate. Once we find the restaurant on in second floor, the service was surperb. All the wait staff was attentive and happy to address us. The food was well plated and delicious

Wife and I went for a massage at the spa. Due to the place being so busy, we had a 3 hour gap between our massage times. No problem. I ll relax, read and do 30 min of cardio on the tread mill while I wait for her to finish. Sorry bud, no longer allowed. Hotel guests only. The hundreds of dollars we spent on massages doesn t matter to them. And this is the place that is supposed to have staff that goes the extra mile. I will never stay at a Four Seasons ever again nor will I ever come to this spa again. All those speeches about service I heard from Kathleen Taylor and Issadore Sharp all these years turns out not to be the case today.

Only had the pleasure of staying one night. Loved the room, spacious and well laid out. Did not get a chance to use room service, bar or restaurant. Will definitely be back for a special occasion.
