Spent a week at Four Seasons Biltmore - Santa Barbara after checking out of nearby local, lackluster Resort. Stay was fabulous... restful... peaceful & accommodating. None better - OUTSTANDING!

Bella Vista and The Four Seasons Resort Made Our Wedding Very Memorable!

On June 2019, my fiance (now husband) and I arranged our quick wedding ceremony with about 20 people across the street from The Four Seasons Biltmore in front of the beach. Afterwards, we had happy hour at The Tydes Restaurant (owned by The Four Seasons) and then dinner at Bella Vista Restaurant. It was ALL FABULOUS, dreamy and the most memorable day of our lives ! This wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for the fabulous staff at The Four Seasons, Bella Vista Restaurant and The Tydes Restaurant!

We worked with Samantha Staskus (Food & Beverage Supervisor,) Daniel Almada (Restaurant Manager) and Andreza Holt ( Restaurant Manager). They made it very efficient and easy to plan our special day with us...from suggesting the exact spot for the ceremony, to selecting dinner entree choices, to booking a special suite for the honeymoon and even designing the wedding cake which they baked and designed onsite (as they have a pastry chef onsite!) The cake alone was delicious, deluxe, beautifully designed and reasonably priced for 30 servings (we used real 24 gold foil, marbled fondant, edible chocolate shells which they made onsite, as well as real shells for display - see photos!) In addition, The Four Seasons Biltmore offered FREE valet which was available for us and our guests as we had reservations at Bella Vista and we also stayed at the hotel for one night.

They handled everything with class and efficiency! This is why we will be coming back for our 1st year anniversary AND we will continue to recommend this resort to our friends and family for your memorable events!! Thank you, Samantha, Daniel and Andreza, from the bottom of our hearts for your friendliness, talent and most of all, your FANTASTIC concierge service! The food, champagne and the ambiance was top notch! You all are THE BEST in Santa Barbara!!

This is a beautiful resort that I didn't get to spend nearly enough time in.

I spent the day/night of my 35th birthday here on a solo gal's road trip up the PCH from San Diego to San Francisco. I was pampered from arrival - my room wasn't ready so I had snacks and a salad at the bar outside on the patio where I was given a birthday cake at the end of the meal.

The room still wasn't ready so I was upgraded to a suite for my birthday (complimentary upgrade) and was shown to a beautiful large room with a large bedroom, huge bathroom with a steam shower and a living room on the ground flood that had glass windows and doors opening to the inner garden.

The resort is stunning and well-kept and right on the beach. There is a beautiful club with a pool and other amenities.

The valet are all friendly and suggested a few hikes I should try (Lizard's Mouth for one) and always spoiled me with bottled water and even a small flashlight for a nighttime walk to the beach so I didn't trip! When I returned to my room, another birthday cake and a card wishing me a happy birthday from the hotel manager and my travel agent. How nice.

I had breakfast the following morning in the main dining area from their well appointed buffet and whisked off to my next destination.

Short and sweet but a beautiful hotel I hope to visit again. It's located on a one lane street right off the 101 across from the Pacific Ocean and is very quiet. It's a short drive to shopping and into the city of Santa Barbara, or you can choose to take a scenic drive up into the mountains only about 20-30 minutes away.

We were here last year for our wedding and we went this year again for our anniversary. The service is still outstanding, the bar is great, the view is breathtaking, but the food was nowhere near excellent. The stake was cold and had soy sauce on it, the pasta was good, but the sauce was super greasy and the entire dish was not... harmonious. All in all, for the price we paid it was surely not worth the 50 minutes drive from our home. The only thing I am expecting from a fancy restaurant is consistency. If you have an outstanding experience one year and a bad experience the next year, I won t go the third year for sure.

This was a beautiful place to have lunch! Gorgeous view of the ocean right below, lovely decor, and friendly service. Unfortunately, the food was not up to par with her scenery. I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes with coffee mascarpone and apricot jam. The pancakes were good but dry, and the coffee mascarpone added nothing to them. I m not sure why the chef thought that coffee-flavored anything would enhance a lemon ricotta pancake. That being said, it could ve just been a bad day and I did enjoy the lunch. As I said, the setting was absolutely beautiful.

Beautiful setting and gardens. Pool is nice and secluded, as can get a bit chilly with the breeze.

Rooms are a nicely sized and well maintained.

Very enjoyable stay with welcoming, friendly, helpful staff.

Love this place. The well preserved spanish style resort, the intricately decorated the atmosphere and the energy something about it that is so organic. You know the moment you walk in, you are stepping in a prestigious place. I have been to few a Four Seasons Resort. I love this one in particular. Very romantic. Perfect place to celebrate our Valentine's Day. And of course the food was amazing accompanied by the best staff absolutely superb. Be sure to say hello to Daniel (Restaurant Manager) at Bella Vista.

WOW Experience Four Seasons Santa Barbara.

WOW Experience Four Seasons Santa Barbara.

I have shared my experience at the Four seasons with several friends and family members already & plan on continuing to share because our stay was wonderful. Thank you for helping me make great memories with my mom to celebrate her birthday. Your staff, amenities, grounds, property and resort experience was incredible. I was traveling for business & staying at the Californian which was wonderful. We decided to extend my trip & have my mom join me for her birthday. She originally made reservations at the Hilton Santa Barbara but after arriving we realized it was not suitable for our trip so we made a last minute decision to move to the Four Seasons. As soon as we stepped on property my mom started to relax and felt so special. We don't get to travel very often together so it was well worth it to see her experience a wonderful stay. We loved the grounds, the staff, the Bella Vista restaurant.

It's a nice resort that I come to once a year for an event. It's very old school and keeps the same feeling as it probably had when it was originally built in years ago. It's directly across the street from the ocean and has a wonderful Spa Fitness

This place is magic! Is so exotic and lush, you will feel like you are in a tropical place. The rooms newly renovated, the luxurious bar , the extremely beautiful gardens that have old trees and vibrant colorful flowers, the very relaxing pool and jacuzzi with great service and very private, the gorgeous ocean view....everything made our vacation so good that we will be back very soon!

Was here for Sunday brunch. $75pp includes bottomless drinks and a gorgeous buffet spread. The buffet included the standard meat carving station, made to order omelets, and pastries to caviar, crab legs, deviled eggs, and a table filled with desserts. To top it off, great service and a beautiful view of the ocean.

As if the beachfront locale, historic ambiance and elegant appointments weren't enough, Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara truly distinguishes itself from other high end resorts with its dedication to superior guest service. The configuration of the entire property is as thoughtful as its highly skilled staff.

This is a specific review for our experience wedding planning at this resort. Special shout out to Mark Master, he is a banquet manager at the resort. He is gracious and very helpful and helped create a pleasant experience regarding something that can be somewhat stressful (ie wedding planning!!!) Mark left a great impression on my wife and family during our planning process, and he reminds me of what Four Seasons customer service is all about. He is a great part of the team Side note - the resort is beautfiul as well as the banquet halls. We look forward to our wedding.
