I have never stayed in any of the rooms. I have come to a few events thrown for a charity.
We have dined here and we have walked our dogs around the resort.
It's absolutely beautiful, of course. Seconds to Butterfly Beach. Take walks outside the hotel.
Simply lovely. And in beautiful Montecito, what more can you ask for?

The most luxurious resort I've ever visited. The hotel Smells like roses and the staff is amazing, anything you look or think they are already helping you with out you saying a word. Perfect summer getaway spot to travel with friends family or just alone.

Beautiful hotel with friendly and accommodating staff. We would definitely return! Bella Vista restaurant was delicious and the view was breathtaking. We also enjoyed the Coral Casino Club amenities and the lunch pool menu and Tydes lunch was yummy and fresh!

If you have the time, make room for the sunday brunch at the biltmore. It is an experience you will not forget. We had the best brunch experience of our lives and cant wait to do it again. The service was incredible, the food divine, the view as picturesque as any movie. Definitely a must-do.

Let me start with the positive. The hotel and the grounds are beautiful. We had a very nice room with a fireplace and a view of the ocean (when you could see it).

Unfortunately, there are a few negative things about this hotel as well.

The first thing is that despite the very carefully composed picture on their website, this hotel is NOT on the beach. You need to cross a relatively busy road to get to the beach. Also, the beach itself is about 15-20 feet wide, with no chairs, towels, umbrellas or services. This is not a beach resort.

The second thing is that every day starts and ends with a The Shining -like fog that is so thick you can taste and feel it. We were there for 5 days in August. For two of the days, the fog never burned off. For the other three, the fog burned off around 2 or 3 pm, only to return a few hours later. While we were repeatedly told that this was unusual weather for August, it lasted all week.

The third thing is the pool setup. There is only a very small and often crowded pool on property. Fortunately, our room came with access to the pool club next door. While this arrangement worked out fine, it just seemed odd to have to go to a separate stand-alone pool club when staying at a Four Seasons hotel. Also, I m not sure what people without access to that club do.

Finally, there were a few service glitches here and there, like when we checked in at 4 pm, our room wasn t ready, we were originally double-charged for our massages and the hotel concierge never followed through on some dinner reservations we asked her to help us with, but generally the hotel made good on these mistakes (we received a credit and some drinks for the late check-in and the double-charge was corrected).

Overall, a nice hotel.

I have not visited a place more beautiful than Santa Barbara. We enjoyed our time at the Four seasons very much. The view behind the resort is the mountains and the ocean is right across the street. We stayed in one of the bungalows. Very cute and comfortable. Beds are a big thing for me. This one was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was extremely large and there was a dressing room. The staff was so friendly. We were greeted by everyone. The maid service was detailed, my shoes were lined up, the sweater on the chair was folded, our chargers were untangled. The food was amazing, although the cost was a shock for those of us coming from the Midwest. We did not utilize the Tydes restaurant /club across the street but those with us said it was beautiful. The only thing I would caution is to bring your own shampoo and body wash. We didn't because we were flying in and I regretted it. I strongly disliked the scent of the toiletries at the resort.

If price is not an option, then the Four Season should be. Its Mediterranean charm overlooking Butterfly beach will entice you to luxuriate among the finer things in life. Hospitality is simply an opportunity to show love and care. There is something for everyone, even if it's just for you.

When calling them they just hung up and I just found this very disrespectful since I m in the department of law. I will be looking for other places to stay while on my business trip with my fellow coworkers.

Very exclusive and beautiful property right on the Santa Barbara coast. Short drive South on 101 or Cabrillo from Downtown. The grounds are very pretty and the hotel is not cheap. The Coral Club next door, and 2 sets of stairs lead directly down to the beach. Love the architecture and detail in the lobby.

The FourSeasons in Santa Barbara is the old Biltmore, and the location simply must be experienced as there are no other way to really appreciate the opulent nature of the old resort, in all fairness, FourSeasons have done a magnificent job of modernizing the resort, and the amazing FourSeasons touch is everywhere from amazing staff to fantastic rooms.. you can't go wrong if you choose to stay here, just be forewarned that this level of comfort and luxury come with a fairly hefty price tag.

The location is perfect. It is right in front of Butterfly Beach in Montecito and in walking distance to Coast Village Road, which is a street with lots of cute boutiques and great restaurants. The grounds are always well kept and the service there is fabulous!

Never seen caviar, not to mention TWO varieties, in a Sunday brunch spread. Well worth visiting for the atmosphere and staff services alone. The brunch covers every detail like capers for the lox and condiments for the blintzes. The Four Seasons will never go "cheap" on anything they do. Forever the gastronomical hallmark of excellence! Hit the polo fields afterwards by heading south on Jameson for a pleasant end to the afternoon

This is a beautiful hotel inside out. The service is also impeccable. We sat at the outdoor patio and it was amazing experience with the fire pit, nice food and good service. Just keep in mind that the price is quite steep but it's Four seasons.

We had dinner and drinks at the Italian restaurant, out on the oceanside terrace. The surroundings are gorgeous, of course. Five of us shared a plate of cheeses and meats as an appetizer, and the cheeses were lovely (particularly the soft More
