My dad Mr Gill would recommend Fortel as a good employer. Management have been helpful and supportive. They considered my dads age and health by placing him on sites and times that suited him. Fortel Services Ltd well recommended.

Atrocious. Ali is a reliable manager. Salil is a professional disgrace, avoid the man. Youll see reviews here from people that have never worked for the company. theyre family and friends.

My collegue and I lost our placement on a good site due to coronavirus. I was refused furlough, and fired after 3 months of NO communication, despite weekly call attempts. When did I discover I was let go'? When my P45 came through the post. work here at your peril

Don t bother, construction firm gone into security. They don t/wont care about you at all. Will speak to you like brown stuff on the bottom of your shoe! Not pay you on time and when you question it they will swear at you point blank and tell you to wait! Especially the guy with 4 eyes bottle bottom glasses and the small guy who travels site to site and used to be very fat but now looks like a drug addict!

Ive started my security career with Fortel over a year ago. Fortel has given me the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience of security which is very beneficial to my future career. The management has always supported me whenever I felt the need and understands my circumstances whenever I needed the days off from work. I would recommend this company to people out there.

This company is regarded as laughing stock of the construction industry, the term bottom of the barrel comes to mind when someone mentions fortel followed by hysterical laughs. It's run by cowboys who bleed their illiterate workforce dry by levying fines against them even though most are on minimum wage/ and possibly without work permits. You get an unskilled worker call him a groundworker put a hard hat on him and a hi viz and viola it's a fortel employee. And then you have the self proclaimed gingavitis stricken 'doctor' in the office who couldn't string an English sentence together to save his life, he is a character in himself lmao. Absolute shambles, But if you need comedy circus at your worksite look no further.

Overall a good Company, site rates of Pay were very good. The staff on sites were friendly and worked well as a team. The Company has local Offices around the country with a Control Room and staff were always helpful.
I would work for this company again it was one of the best places i have worked i looked forward going to work the mangerment are great if they can help you they will keep it up

I have been working for this company for the last year, it is run very well and has great employees. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! The directors Darren MCCLELLAN, Kieran Stuart MOORE and Gareth MORGAN are complete and utter con merchants. They have fingers in so many pies, scamming people right, left and centre. They deserve nothing other than utter contempt for the way they treat people. They are the directors of GDK utilities who buy utilities from local companies then add 10% on the top and charge poor unsuspecting landlords the extra cost. Despite the fact this is illegal, they never seem to get caught, so keep your eyes open for any companies that have these con men as directors. They are hand in glove with Fortis developments so beware if that is involved in anything with them too. All information is freely available at companies house. Spread the word, and the sooner these men are names and shamed the better, to stop other poor unsuspecting people being conned by them.

I have worked in the company for 9 months and have enjoyed every minute of it. If for any reason i have issues regarding my work salil lamba has always sorted it out. Would recommend anybody highly to work for this company.

ForteI, it's a great place to work, As an employee, we always felt respected and fairly treated at work. Management were excellent. I had a good experience working with the company, it's unfortunate that the company is leaving. In future, if I get any opportunities to work with, it will be my pleasure.

Dream selling, liars and Sunny Brar is the biggest culpurute, they give you a job tell you next week then that week will come then they will do the same until they never communicate with you again without reason or explanation. Seems like that they only employ of a Asian Ethnicity a real big shame to be fair when you comply and apply yourself and get treated like this.

When was made redundant in 2018 I applied for a position with Fortel. I received a phone call from my Security Manager (within the same week) asking me to attend training and a site induction on a large scale Construction Project. I continued my employment on this project for the next two years....I found Fortel to be a top employer and was treated good, All employees have access to an employees portal where I could view and request all my details from holidays to working rota... I had uniform provided.... a good working environment and I could always contact my manager Lamba with any questions, he will always reply with the answer, the control room follow a strict duty of care for all their employees and are very responsive which is very reassuring when lone working.
I have worked for some large security companies in the past and Fortel has been the best for me. I recommend working for this company and have enjoyed my time working for them. I ve now finished working for them but have left with on great terms and will definitely consider rejoining them for future projects.

Spent just over 1 year working for fortel. Can't rate them highly enough, good management team who answer when you need them not that I needed them often. Good rates of pay for security, paid on time every week never had an issue with being paid short. Only reason I'm not working for them now is they have no work local to me. Can't recommend them enough

After taking a job with these, i was told i would not get paid for 3 weeks. What a joke I have never heard of that in 20 years of being on site. Then the guy called Doctor got a bit mouthy,but all i can say is your lucky your so far away

BAD REVIEW.. TRUTH HURTS..waited 6 months for a job with fortel. They made me work for only 2 weeks. They made me pick up 100 metal beds in a day. To get me tired. I was living in a hotel and they drugged me and put a RFID chip in the back of my head. Too see what I get up to. They also sent a moterbike gang after me called the hell's angels. When the Sikh community found out they stopped the gang from following me. And the sikh community saved me from the gang..do not work for fortel. FORTEL IS A LIVING HELL!!!!!

Do not apply for this company, it will be a complete waste of your life and time. They will only employ you unless you are from an (ASIAN ETHNICITY) and going from and by there reviews you can clearly see I'm not lying. Early January my work advisor referred me to this company to do a CSCS Course with a gaurenteed job interview in completion of the course. As it was recommended by the council and through the council I assumed it would be a great opportunity....It wasn't I was lied to and robbed of time and opportunities I will never get back. I started and completed the course with flying colours attended everyday, on time and keen to learn new skills and show my skills. I had my interview with a man called Sunny Brar and was told straight after the interview that I have been accepted for the job and that I would be able to start as soon as my labourers/green card would come. It took a few weeks for my card to arrive and once it did I had let the training providers know and Sunny, so that they could start me up for work. Another few weeks went by until I had a response from neither party but eventually I had got a text to say to come in to bring my details and sign my contract to start work. So the following week I went to the training hub to hand in my ID and sign my contract, while writing up my details Sunny had took a picture of my bank card which didn't sit right with me but I still went on to sign my contract and had been told that the contract is for 3 months with a review at the end of it and because I have my green card I will start the following week. So I left the Training Hub with being told I was going to start work the week after but it didn't happen so the following week I chased it up and was told by Sunny it would be the week after that. So another week went by and I chased it up with receiving a result of Sunny not communicating with me, replying to my text or calls and basically avoiding me. A week later he gets the fortel labour manager to send me a text saying we will start next week, I replied asking do you have a date or day and he read it and didn't reply. Another week by and frustration does not begin to describe how I was feeling. So due the fact of I was reffered by the council they had rang me to see if I had started and I told them what was going on and they chased it up. The crazy thing is it wasn't until the council chased it up that I had a text from the labour manager to say that there is no work and he will try his best to get us on a job when some new jobs come, I have never met this man or spoke but it was funny how I never heard any from Sunny, up until today not even to apologise or communicate anything to me. The labour manager couldn't even right a text speaking clear and proper English but that's their labour manager. I have lost out on time, job opportunities, the chance to go to college and money all because of this company. Don't go wasting your time with them like how I did with no pot to piss in at the end of it!!!!!!

Online System to get contact with employee is awesome. Best online system for doing control room check calls , Incidents Reports and others reports. Salary gets paid on time . Hat off for Fortel team. Managers are very friendly

By far the worst company you could work for. They will make you sign a contract then tell you they have no work before you even get the chance to work a day for them.
