Extremely nice place. Very very clean. The lobby was beautiful. Our check-in was as simple & quick as can be. Our room was gorgeous. Huge. Very clean. The hotel was perfect nothing to complain about. My only advice is if you go to breakfast in the restaurant watch the prices...OMG!!

The staff at front of desk were amazing. Mr. Roosevelt was the best customer service I have ever had. The cons are the place is very old and they need a full remodel. I can't believe they can hold the Marriott name. It's a shame to the brand. The picture they show on their website are not the place I stayed. Don't believe them. The air conditioner didn't work properly. And the bathroom was so nasty. It was just a sad experience.

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip for two...

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip for two weeks. It was a wonderful stay breakfast is great and the rooms are clean and modern. It doesn't have a microwave but has a bar and restaurant. Has a pool and hot tub open all the time and the staff are very nice and accommodating. I enjoy my stay all the time.

Classy, classic South Florida hotel. Convenient to nearby business park. Cool view from the 4th floor pool. Plenty of free deck parking. Free Wall Street Journal/ USA Today on weekdays. Free evening cookies & brownies in the lobby. Little bit noisey, and little bit pricey.

Worst Marriott I've ever stayed in. People were throwing food in the restaurant b/c they were so displeased with their food. Another woman was arguing with the manager at the front of the hotel. And we-well, we ordered a quesadilla and a salad which took 30-40 mins to come and when it did, the salad had no salad dressing, which took another 10 minutes to get. We also tried to order room service the next morning and she immediately answered and said she would call us back. When she called us back we tried to order off our menu we had in the room but she cut us off and told us it was the wrong menu...then she would continue to speak to us like we were dumb as we were trying to wing an order w/o a menu and finally ordered at 8:45am was told it would take 30-45 minutes to get. We kept calling the front desk b/c an hour later had nothing and we had plans that day... the woman would cut us off, hang up on us or put us on hold, or not answer and at 10:20 we finally received our food which eggs were room temp, hashbrowns overcooked..and they didn't bring us all we asked for including ketchup, almond milk and honey. The hashbrowns were so awful we needed that so we called & asked for it and got it about 8 minutes later. The pool was awful, the immunites were outdated. The only thing nice/doable was the bed and shower. The hotel had an awful VIBE and you felt awful staying there and couldn't wait to leave. I am going to close my Marriott card due to this stay and check out Hilton.

If it is the rare occasion that you need heat in your room, good luck! My coworker and I had separate rooms on different floors and both called to get the heater looked at. We were told it isn't worth it for them to keep the heater coils working for the week or two of cold each year.

Everything else about the hotel is how a Marriott should be. Concierge lounge and staff in there were great.

My husband and I checked in immediately after a horrible cruise with Carinval on the Conquest Ship. I arrived to the hotel very early (around 11:30am) assuming we would have to wait for a room. The young lady at the desk could tell something was wrong she "Asked what's wrong and how can I help!" I proceed to tell her about the horrible experience we had on the Carnival Conquest. To my surprise she apologized on the be half of Carinval and proceed to check us in. All she wanted to do is end our vacation on a positive note and for that I will always be grateful. The young lady's name is Romian. When we got into the room it was cool, clean, and cozy! The room is absolutely beautiful and tge bed is very comfortable. I can't wait to explore the rest of the hotel! #LoveMarriott

We stayed here before our cruise and it was amazing. The beds are so plush and comfortable! The room was clean. We were greeted by friendly staff and ice cold bottled water. The only con would be there breakfast was very expensive, but over all a wonderful place to stay.

They were remodeling upper part of hotel. The downstairs lobby and restaurant was very clean and updated. Starbucks was next to lobby and they had a pool that had big and small lizards and iguanas all over next to and roaming the pool grounds. Good rates and nice bed to sleep in. Room we had was very large and kept very neat and clean daily.

The staff was courteous, helpful and very pleasant. The room was clean and beautiful and the gardens are lovely and what made my stay even that much memorable was that the staff addressed me personally by name. I would definitely return again,

I attended a 3 day seminar at this hotel and the experience overall was pleasant. The front desk staff have us a pleasant greeting each day as we walked in, even though they knew we weren't checking into the hotel. It was a very clean, bright, pleasant environment.

Waited 2 hours for a room, and when i got my room, it was the wrong room and when i got in the room, their where half dirty towels, half drank water bottles, and their where at least a dozen of customers in the lobby with similar issues.

This is the worse Marriott hotel I have ever staye...

This is the worse Marriott hotel I have ever stayed. It's dirty (but they are slowly renovating), and they do not honor your status. You may or may not get offered candy for your stay. Your platinum gift isn't even mentioned. They should renovate their staff along with their physical building.

Middle of the road, it's roomy but small restroom area, flat screen tv but not high def. Room looked like it was cleand mins before getting there, still things that vacum did not get and large stain at foot of bed, serve breakfast at 7am start, aposted to 6am that many other holtel offer, buffet stye that is compimentary at others

The staff are spectacular, polite and helpful. We needed a refurbished room, but it was fine. The location is good for those who want to stay north of Fort Lauderdale as it is far from downtown. Reverberi that the quality of the staff already worth the lodging

My mother and I had a wonderful experience after r...

My mother and I had a wonderful experience after recovering from an awful weeekend at the Ocean B Resort in Ft Lauderdale. It was very nice to feel important and appreciated. Assistance was readily available from the time I drove up to check in there was a warm and friendly atmosphere. We were greeted immediately by the Consierge, then the woman working the Gift Shop, Everyone was so helpful and inviting we must have had at least 5 individuals offer their assistance. I was travelling with my disabled mother and had just had a bad experience of not having ADA accommodations for the first half of our weekend. The gentlman that checked us in went above and beyond to supply us with a handicapped equipped room, that was not ready as of yet. He provided us with a temporary double room that was more than adequate to the point where we cancelled the request for ADA accomodations. Remembering his statement of "just let us know if you need anything we will be right there!" The reassurance of quality alotted my mother and I to get the much needed rest we so desperately needed. The top shelf coffee and peace of mind aloud us to sleep from 4:30PM to 7AM the next morning. In all my years of visiting South FL, I will make it my business to have this location as my point of interest. It is beyond words to say how excellent the time spent was, wish we had spent more days.

Friendly staff, easy to find hotel and clean, neatly decorated rooms. Our room had a microfridge, and updated shower and furniture. Parking deck is easy and enclosed as well as next to the hotel. I would return and recommend others. We got a great rate and great service, both are essentials (to me).

Great hotel. Staying in a King Bed room that's nice and spacious. The bed is very comfortable and the pillows have a nice variance in firmness. The room has plenty of outlets for charging of multiple devices. Great restaurant onsite with a very friendly staff and great tasting food. The location might not be near attractions, but would still definitely recommend.
