It's clearly been updated recently. The rooms are comfortable and modern. The noise however was problematic for me when sleeping. This was mostly due to having a room very close to the insanely loud ice machine and the baffling 2" gap under the door to the room that allowed every door slam and elevator chime sound like it was right next to you and taking you out of any restful sleep.

An added bonus of the illogical door gap beyond the noise was the smells too. My neighbor order salmon for room service and left the dirty dishes and tray outside of their room which was right next to my 2" door gap. When I got back that evening my room had the wonderful smell of the most fishy fish you can imagine. After that, I took to using a towel to block the gap as best as I could. If I stay again, I will insist on a room away from the elevators and ice machine and use a towel to block the gap whenever I'm in the room.

At least it's still better than the Sheraton down the road...

Rooms are large, clean, and updated. The hotel is on the older side but has been renovated. My only issue with this hotel was with security. There are no safes in the room. I had a balcony and the sliding glass door did not lock. While the room was on the 17th floor, it would be easy for someone from the adjacent balcony to gain access to the room.

The people were nice, but they were remodeling. Our first room had a leak in the ceiling. We had two other rooms (due to our two stage trip) and the hot water at both was very inconsistent. Bottom sheets weren't fitted, so they didn't stay put. They had an interesting table that was seemingly designed to work over the bed, but the area under the bed was blocked, do you couldn't use the table that way. None of these oddities ruined the stay, but it wasn't the best, either.

They just got done with major renovations and this place is awesome! Clean modern rooms and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! Convenient in and out access with lots of amenities very close by.

Beds were very VERY comfortable. Decor was nice. Staff was friendly. I had a few other issues that brought it down. Our room had no microwave so we were stuck with cold turkey on our first night. We didn't have enough rags or face towels and requested them at around 9pm but they never came. The fridge doesn't work. Second night they brought us a microwave and the maid cleaned up really well. But the grossest part was the ROACHES. Were on the 7th floor...3.roaches in one night is too much for my sanity in an expensive hotel room. I'm not sure if ill be using marriot again.

FANTASTIC STAY! Extremely friendly and attentive staff. Christian the hotel manager, Jasmine the Restaurant Manager, Allen the front desk clerk, Jay the bartender and all of the bellhop/van drivers were the absolute BEST! They all deserve raises. Our king room was nice and clean and the amenities were nice as well. Definitely staying here on my next visit to the area.

Pretty good. Not quite what I typically find at a Marriott named hotel. Carpet was discolored from stain or wear. Furniture was a bit worn. But the beds and pillows were great. Good TV with HD channels. Bathroom was okay, the toilet had been replaced with a different for print and the old calking was still on the floor. The staff was great, as most Marriott's are, there were just those aesthetic blemishes that Marriott is usually really good about that prevents me from giving this one five stars.

Room was great. Bathroom a bit dated. The air is very hard to control, 80f was actually freezing! Lol but the staff in this hotel are amazing. Angel in the restaurant was very attention and accommodating
And the front staff was great, Alan and Christian. I felt i was well looked after.

Hospitable, accommodating and professional, due to the lovely people at the front desk, Dania and Mr. Lafferty. And the restaurant staff, Mr.Angel Dominguez, and Jasmine are equally efficient and amiable. I was there on business and many of my.colleagues unfortunately do not possess patience nor.toleramce.and slammed the restaurant staff on June 16th at 1pm, unjustifiably. I was truly appalled, Melania brought up food people.had ordered to the semimars people were attending, hpws that for.service! I was at a mental health professional conference and it is sad my counterparts do not practice what they preach.

3 rooms in 2 days. Old, very run down Marriott. Cracked bathroom tiles, ceiling water leaks, dirty carpets. One room smelled of mould. Of all the Marriotts I have stayed at, this by far is sadly the worst. Elevators broken down, 2 out of action. Nowhere to hang a handtoweI at basin in all 3 rooms. I hope they can fix it up. I wont be back. I wont shame them with my photos. Corporate need a butt kick for letting this hotel represent Marriott. Please Corporate, check the horrible drywall work next to the shower in every room. Disgraceful.

I had an issue with my reservation, by my own mistake admittedly, so I ended up having to pay twice for the same weekend stay. I had an conversation with Andreadee the Customer Service manager, and the matter was resolved. That is what customer service is all about, thank you for proving that. My stay was also very pleasant, staff was friendly and rooms were clean.

Very nice hotel. I loved Nancy at the gift shop. I could talk to her for hours! Rooms were very nice, clean, and roomy. Hotel breakfast was well worth pulling myself out of the comfortable bed. Loved the view while eating. Staff was friendly and eager to help. Will return!

Our initial room wasn t suitable, my error on booking, no fault of the hotel but Dania accommodated and went truly above and beyond to make our stay awesome. I seldom leave reviews, but exemplary customer service like this deserves recognition.

The week of my wedding I was relocated 3 Times and hands down to the employees at the Marriott for making my wedding day stress free. When I arrived to check in the day before my wedding, the employees in the front desk had been expecting me. From the employees at the restaurant to the housekeeping team they where all kind and helpful. Marriott team members understand guest service and I m extremely happy and grateful for making my wedding day special. Thank you!! And to the guest who are thinking about booking with them... do it!!

Had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The rooms were nice and clean. The beds are very comfortable. The property grounds are kept up and clean. The front desk staff, Ashley and Carrington were very kind and has impeccable customer service. Thanks you Marriott for making this an awesome birthday weekend.

The hotel is nice and well kept, the staff is very nice and helpful, the buffet breakfast has good variety, it includes delicious freshly squeezed orange juice.
The restaurant restaurant bar closes early on weekends, I didn't like this considering the location of the hotel is far from everything. There aren't any other restaurant's around. You definitely need a car if you stay here. Everything is approx 20 mins driving

Rooms are ok. No 24 hr room service. There is a shopping mall around thats it. Nothing else to do. Fort Lauderdale waterfront is about 20-30 mins by cab. And south beach Miami 45-60 mins by cab.

Stayed there back in October. I would highly recommend! Easy to find, secure parking, service if needed. The rooms are huge, very comfortable beds, clean. Pool and hot tub on the 4th floor, and fitness center. I would definitely recommend to stay at this hotel!

The restaurant downstairs was pretty good, they serve good food.

This place was such a disappointment I booked 3 nights 4 days according to the pictures and the setup of the room I saw online and when I got there it was totally not what I expected. I called before my check in date and talk to a staff name Erica and told her what I was celebrating (my husband and I 7th wedding anniversary) and I told her I wanted a beautiful room with some type of decorations lime a little rose petals to make it romantic. when I got there the room was so plain not fancy at all, she didn't do any of what I requested. it is such a ripoff for the price they charge for the 3 nights,it's not even close to worth that amount, not even for a nice & quiet rest. I was so hurt and angry, I felt like I let my husband down because I was trying to surprise him for our special day. I complained to a lady named Ruth after 1 night stay Sat.2/17 and she promised she would have my back when we return later that day to our room but when we return she sent us a cheese and cracker plate with fruits plus 2 glass cups and a small bottle of wine, I guess that's what she called making it up. I couldn't even finish my stay, I end up checking out the next day,that's how angry I was. I paid almost $1,000(to be exact $971)for 3 nights to stay at this hotel, biggest mistake I've made in a long long time. I do not recommend anyone that's celebrating a special day to stay at this hotel, it's only good for business matter.

The staff has been very hospitable, providing us a complimentary bottle of wine, a free breakfast, and free drinks for our anniversary. The room is very clean and has many amenities you would expect. The pool is clean and the hot tub has a beautiful backdrop.
