Their crepes are diverting, hearty, and satisfying. I love sweet crepes and savory crepes alike, and Craig here was able to offer both. The Porktastic was absolutely phenomenal, highly recommend. Go for their crepes!

We came here on a Wednesday evening specifically for trivia. I had called earlier in the day to see if we could make reservations and was told yes; after waiting on hold for several minutes, I hung up and decided to call back later. The second time I called (a couple hours later), I was told they would not take reservations for trivia night. So, our party of 3 arrived at 6:30 and there were plenty of open seats. We asked about sitting in a vacant booth, but we were told those were reserved. Instead, we were seated in the front section of the restaurant, away from the main dining area. The hostess mentioned that if anything opened up in the main dining area, she would move us, as we expressed our concern at not being able to hear the trivia over the speaker system - there were no speakers in our section. As 7 approached, several groups arrived and were seated at the recently-vacated tables in the main area; unfortunately, the hostess never came and asked us if we d like to move as she had previously told us would be possible. The restaurant continued to fill to capacity, other than two large booths that remained vacant. As trivia began, our concerns were proven valid as we could not hear the trivia host over the cacophony of voices in the main room, being as there were no speakers in our separate section. Frustrated, I spoke to our waitress and asked if we could move to a large vacant booth. She informed me that no, those booths needed to remain empty in case larger parties arrived. Even when I expressed that we couldn t hear and we had come specifically here for trivia (and intended to eat food in addition to the drinks we had ordered), we were told we could not move. Upset with the restaurant s policies and customer service regarding the policies, we paid for our drinks and left.
It s unfortunate that we only had one night in Boulder and were anticipating a fun night of trivia. Personally, I would not return to Foolish Craig s as their policies and customer service truly demonstrated how they earned their name.

I got the pulled pork burrito and it was one of the yummiest things I've ever eaten! The space is very crowded and difficult to move around and there was a wait. But we all loved our food and agreed it was worth the wait and tight squeeze. Great service as well.

Bypass the long line at Snooze and enjoy this place. I tried the vegetarian crepes with the veloute suace and they were delicious (I am not a vegetarian). My neice is already a buicuit and gravy snob and loved hers. Her dad tried the Fried Chicken Benedict and the eggs were poached perfectly.

Laid back atmosphere, friendly service, unconventional (yet very tasty!) menu options, and an extremely reasonable price point. A fully satisfying place for a quick, easy, and delicious brunch.

Excellent service and the food was even better. This was my second time here and I plan to come back next time I m in the area. Great selection for food and alcohol and great breakfast cocktails.

I don t ever write reviews but this place deserves one! Not only is the food amazing, but the staff makes you feel like part of the family. It s everything a community centered restaurant should be.

Food is always excellent. I have yet to order anything from craigs that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed. However what Im most impressed with is the staff. It seems no matter what time of day I go in, no matter what day of the year, I always have someone who is bright, friendly, and fast! Also if you have any requests they always are happy to help, its makes the whole experience very comfortable and stress free.

Only giving one star because that's as low as the site allows. To be fair the food we had was good, but not great. The service we received sucked. There were tables seated 5 to 10 minutes after we were seated that had food, paid and left long before we did. Our waitress could barely be bothered to check on us, refill our drinks, etc. Don't be suckered in by the whole Diners, Drive-ins & Dives angle, they obviously didn't have to deal with the wait staff.

Exactly what I want from a restaurant at this price point... Five stars for highly courteous and friendly service, consistent food quality for breakfast lunch and dinner with a homey presentation and a nice atmosphere with art from local artists. To clean and well decorated unisex bathrooms. A small but cozy full service bar with large flat screen TV. Good wi-fi. Nice sidewalk service with full afternoon Boulder sun shining directly down Pearl Street. Free weekend parking at the garage across the street. I eat here weekly

Just the kind of place to stumble into not knowing how delicious and efficient they are. I sat upstairs and chatted with a friendly waiter who described the delicious food as well as some Craig philosophy. They take good care of their staff fans are very capable chefs. Loved the crepes. Must try this place!

One of my friends introduced me to this place and it had become one of my favorite places. Their breakfast items are amazing. One of my favorites is the Boulder omelette. I always like their house coffee.

Excellent & varied breakfast selections (for vegetarians before 5pm only); very good coffee & service.
It's important to note that the menu changes at 5pm and it becomes *much* less vegetarian-friendly. With that in mind, it's an excellent choice for vegetarians if you arrive before 5pm and order "breakfast for lunch" (or merely breakfast for breakfast).
My husband and I thankfully arrived just before 5pm on our visit. Even though Foolish Craig's is apparently known for crepes, other items looked more enticing to us today. I ordered coffee (not the best I've ever had but it was very good) and the Mexicali Blues omelette. The omelette was great, with a very generous dollop of guacamole and flavorful salsa on top. I ordered mine with the cheesy grits on the side and they were good. I would have preferred just a touch more of a buttery taste but these were fine. The house-made strawberry jam was great too. My husband can't resist eggs benedict when he sees it on a menu so he's a bit of an expert on that dish. Foolish Craig's Eggs Benedict with spinach and tomato is in his "top 5" list. He ordered it with the house potatoes, which were richly seasoned and tasty, and not very oily.
We were very happy with our meals. We plan to go back, and although we really want to try a crepe, we enjoyed these dishes enough that it'll be hard to resist ordering them again.
Highly recommended if you like going out for breakfast (or breakfast for lunch).

While the woman taking our order was very nice, the food was dry, bland, and extremely underwhelming. For 2 people we splurged on the $50 price and with zero seasoning, burnt pancakes, and omelets stuck to the bottom of our take out box, we are extremely regretful that we didn t just drive to McDonald s instead.

Stopped by on way through town and so glad I did! Service was excellent. Extremely friendly and attentive. Nice outdoor seating with heat lamps on the sidewalk area for Covid. HUGE portions. The crepes could feed a family of four! Chicken and waffles were great. They also have a great boozy drink menu like Irish coffee and Irish Chai.

So good! A great old place with lots and lots going on in it! Between the food and people and artwork and decoration it's a fun little place to sit and have a nice meal! And to top it out off the drinks and food were wonderful! My husband got corn beef and hash and I got a grilled cheese with bacon. Both turned out to be wonderful choices!

Yum

This place had great overall food and even better drinks. The service was great and the employees were friendly. We ordered the crab cake Benedict s, Crepe Cake, and Corned Beef Hash. The food was good but don t order the corned beef hash even though it was rated best ever other than that would return.

Picked up a wrap and it didn't have as much filling in it as usual. Went back and the waitress was very kind and offered to remake it. She had just handled cash and without washing her hands or putting on gloves she remade my wrap. Then on the way out I followed a waitress that had on cut off jean shorts that were so short I could see way too much. All and all not the environment I want to eat food from.

Jacob, our server, was great, as was the hostess. Tried our first bison burger here, awesome; and the fries are so good you don't even need ketchup! Same goes for the burger.

I was drawn to the name, and we were glad we came!

Food was Amazing!!! Excellent service & observation of covid procedures. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Boulder!! The breakfast burrito & rum caramel crepe cake are just outstanding!
