Great local shows and artists but do aim fur the orchestra
Loved the Flynn, but the not refunding the $3.50 a ticket service fee after canceling a show is outrageous and infuriating. I've never run into this buying directly from any other venue.
If you're no longer having the show, you are no longer providing me a service. Period. At that point you've charged me $7 for absolutely nothing. Already ticked that I have to scramble to find a new gift for the holidays, more ticked that I've paid $7 for the "service". We'll travel to out of area venues in the future.
I was there recently for a Joe Bonamassa Concert the Acoustics were awesome the accommodations from staff were great
Quite an old style building, but seats offer a great view of the stage, so I'm good.
Every time I go through Flynn I enjoy the performance and am reminded how grateful I am that the Flynn is here
I came to see shen yen and it was marvelous. The place was packed. I did not feel too uncomfortable. The sound is great for music as well.
Love old theaters with character! Hornsby was great!
Great place to see a show, not a bad seat in the house. Great service and friendly staff!
Great shows, affordable and family friendly. Safe, clean
I love hearing music here. So glad to live in a city with such a high quality music venue!
Love the Flynn! Restored Art Deco, welcoming, with good acoustics.
Rude! Rude! Rude! I took my family, which includes a special needs child, to the Sunday show. I knew he would have a hard time sitting still for 3 hours, which is why I reserved back row seats. He was not loud or disruptive to anyone. Ushers were very rude to us giving us stares and glares and even TAKING OUR SEATS even tho the 2 rows in front of us were practically empty! Never again!
This is a gorgeous, historic theater, but like other of its kind, some improvements in amenities could go a long way. The main one that comes to mind is the bathroom situation. The line is always around the corner before the show because there are such limited facilities. It would also be great if drinks were allowed in the theater rather than just a small area of the lobby, but I understand the concerns. The staff is always incredibly friendly, but for the high price and overall experience, I'd rather catch a comedy show at Vermont Comedy Club or a concert at Higher Ground.
The Flynn is one of the great historical "opera houses" in northern New England. It is architecturally classic and beautiful, as well as spacious and comfortable. It is a great venue for a variety of entertainment choices.
Community/membership sustained with a friendly and collegial vibe, the Flynn is a gem, located in the bustling Church Street Market area of Burlington.
Very nice place. Seats are a bit on the narrower side of things, but still quite comfortable.
This historic building is a joy to look at with faithfully preserved art nouveau architectural details everywhere you look. There are no bad seats acoustically speaking, nor are there blocked views of the stage from any seat in the theater. The bathrooms are always clean. Any theater could use another, but I have never missed my show waiting my turn to use one. There s a nice concession stand with local Vermont products. The venue brings a wide variety of entertainment, from circus acts, to big names in Jazz, kicking off Burlington s annual Jazz Festival, to local symphony shows. You ll be glad you went!
I have seen two concerts and a musical here. It is a fantastic venue. Staff are always friendly and great beer on tap.
Nice building! Ample seating and great stage view no matter where you sit.
Had front row seats for Greensky Bluegrass Band. They were outstanding. Sadly many in the crowd left their seats and stood right up to the stage. This would not have been an issue, but there was an announcement not to do that and nothing was done about it. Left early.
Great theatre and surprisingly big! Only place famous people can perform in Burlington.
What a wonderful addition this is to the city of Burlington. THey seem to always find the most spectacular entertainers, and performers. I am never disappointed. The seats are very comfortable and you can have a good view of the stage from most anywhere. If at all possible, catch a show here while you are in town.
A well kept gem from yesteryear. Great place to see a show
Here for Stomp. The Flynn is a neat old theatre. Wish there was a tad more legroom though. If you are tall choose your seats wisely.
A beautiful place to see shows. I just wish the chairs has 3 inches more keg room.
Always great shows here and a great theater to see events in!
Good shows, but it always seems to be uncomfortably hot in the auditorium
Beautiful Art Deco theatre in Downtown Burlington Vermont
Super nice evening at the Flynn Center, hilarious show by Steven Wright.
Can't bring a beer in to the concert, even though they sell them in the lobby. Security was overzealous. The sound quality is good. Mediocre experience overall. The place books good acts.
They bring some of the greatest shows to the Burlington area!
A more intimate experience, closer to 'black box' theater with seats on risers. Good views and sound from any location. Strong performers and a good variety of shows each season. Bring some cash for a terrific snack bar during intermission.
Beautiful building with very nice staff. Easy to get through.
Nice place. Great entertainment. Seats are uncomfortable so if you are there for a 2 hour show, you will feel it.
A gorgeous venue which brings in some great national acts. Make sure you arrive early.
Didn't go into the main building. But the set up and theatre was wonderful.
The staff was very friendly. The venue was clean. And there were many choices at the concessions. I will absolutely be back and would recommend seeing a show there.
The Flynn Center for the Performing Arts is a Vermont fixture for interesting shows from music to comedy. I love the old, 1930s theatre - it somehow makes being at a performance even better. Over the years I have seen a Charlie Chaplin film with a full orchestra - that is memorable - dance - and Spalding Grey doing a great interview/performance art. The Flynn brings in unusual and interesting shows that are normally hard to find in our rural state of Vermont. The only thing I have found is that it is necessary to come early to find parking - -
The Flynn is a beautiful local theater in the Art Deco style. Great venue with a wide variety of acts and excellent facilities for all ages. If you are in Vermont; this is a must see attraction.
Always good performances, but wish tickets were less $$ especially back and upper balcony seats.
It looks nice but I only walked by and did not go inside.
A great place to see a show. All the floor seats have a great view of the stage. I have never had a bad experience at the Flynn!
I've never had a bad experience seeing a show at the Flynn, whether on the main stage or in the Flynn Space. Quality programming, beautiful space, and friendly, helpful staff make the Flynn one of my favorite places for an evening out!
Fabulous show! Beautiful theater with friendly ushers
We saw the play Shh, I have a plan and it was great. My daughter loved it

Who's line is it? Was halarious. Theater was relatively comfortable
Beautifully restored art deco theater in the heart of Burlington!
Every show I have ever been to has been awesome. Very helpful staff
Love this venue but lyric the adams family got political! Please no
Nice and big with good views of the stage, nice acoustics and interesting architectural details.
Great little theater , Masters of Illusion was great show. Will be going to the Flynn again for sure,
Nice old theatre. Great staff, seats were comfortable. Excellent When Tum performance.
The musical acoustics reached our balcony seats perfectly, also there were so many assistants there to care for all our needs. Such a beautiful, clean building also. Vermont at its finest!
It was our first time attending a performance at The Flynn and we were very impressed! Clean, friendly staff, comfortable seats...
Great theater. Small, good sound. Friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed the symphony!
I very much like the Flynn a lot, it's a beautiful concert hall with really good acoustics. My only complaint is that tickets can be pricey but I understand if from an artists point of view. Really great variety of shows they put on as well.
There are spaces for movement and performance training. The spaces can be small and have odd features, but they have made the most out of the building.
Went to see Theresa caputo they did a amazing job showing people were to go.. And having stuff all set up for the show
Excellent 2nd performance from Bert ThumuSHEEEN Kreischer!! Beee refills are a nice enhancement!
Saw Shen Yun, what a fabulous show, very entertaining and the colors, just wow!
I m sure it s great for opera and musicals, but they hosted a rock concert. You can only drink in the lobby, once the show started there were no more drinks available, and they were pretty uptight about everything. The building is very clean and it s a beautiful theater. The bathroom situation is a nightmare. Long long line for one or two single stall toilets.
