Loved the Flynn, but the not refunding the $3.50 a ticket service fee after canceling a show is outrageous and infuriating. I've never run into this buying directly from any other venue.

If you're no longer having the show, you are no longer providing me a service. Period. At that point you've charged me $7 for absolutely nothing. Already ticked that I have to scramble to find a new gift for the holidays, more ticked that I've paid $7 for the "service". We'll travel to out of area venues in the future.

Rude! Rude! Rude! I took my family, which includes a special needs child, to the Sunday show. I knew he would have a hard time sitting still for 3 hours, which is why I reserved back row seats. He was not loud or disruptive to anyone. Ushers were very rude to us giving us stares and glares and even TAKING OUR SEATS even tho the 2 rows in front of us were practically empty! Never again!

This is a gorgeous, historic theater, but like other of its kind, some improvements in amenities could go a long way. The main one that comes to mind is the bathroom situation. The line is always around the corner before the show because there are such limited facilities. It would also be great if drinks were allowed in the theater rather than just a small area of the lobby, but I understand the concerns. The staff is always incredibly friendly, but for the high price and overall experience, I'd rather catch a comedy show at Vermont Comedy Club or a concert at Higher Ground.

The Flynn is one of the great historical "opera houses" in northern New England. It is architecturally classic and beautiful, as well as spacious and comfortable. It is a great venue for a variety of entertainment choices.

Community/membership sustained with a friendly and collegial vibe, the Flynn is a gem, located in the bustling Church Street Market area of Burlington.

This historic building is a joy to look at with faithfully preserved art nouveau architectural details everywhere you look. There are no bad seats acoustically speaking, nor are there blocked views of the stage from any seat in the theater. The bathrooms are always clean. Any theater could use another, but I have never missed my show waiting my turn to use one. There s a nice concession stand with local Vermont products. The venue brings a wide variety of entertainment, from circus acts, to big names in Jazz, kicking off Burlington s annual Jazz Festival, to local symphony shows. You ll be glad you went!

Had front row seats for Greensky Bluegrass Band. They were outstanding. Sadly many in the crowd left their seats and stood right up to the stage. This would not have been an issue, but there was an announcement not to do that and nothing was done about it. Left early.

What a wonderful addition this is to the city of Burlington. THey seem to always find the most spectacular entertainers, and performers. I am never disappointed. The seats are very comfortable and you can have a good view of the stage from most anywhere. If at all possible, catch a show here while you are in town.

A more intimate experience, closer to 'black box' theater with seats on risers. Good views and sound from any location. Strong performers and a good variety of shows each season. Bring some cash for a terrific snack bar during intermission.

The Flynn Center for the Performing Arts is a Vermont fixture for interesting shows from music to comedy. I love the old, 1930s theatre - it somehow makes being at a performance even better. Over the years I have seen a Charlie Chaplin film with a full orchestra - that is memorable - dance - and Spalding Grey doing a great interview/performance art. The Flynn brings in unusual and interesting shows that are normally hard to find in our rural state of Vermont. The only thing I have found is that it is necessary to come early to find parking - -

The Flynn is a beautiful local theater in the Art Deco style. Great venue with a wide variety of acts and excellent facilities for all ages. If you are in Vermont; this is a must see attraction.

I've never had a bad experience seeing a show at the Flynn, whether on the main stage or in the Flynn Space. Quality programming, beautiful space, and friendly, helpful staff make the Flynn one of my favorite places for an evening out!

I very much like the Flynn a lot, it's a beautiful concert hall with really good acoustics. My only complaint is that tickets can be pricey but I understand if from an artists point of view. Really great variety of shows they put on as well.

I m sure it s great for opera and musicals, but they hosted a rock concert. You can only drink in the lobby, once the show started there were no more drinks available, and they were pretty uptight about everything. The building is very clean and it s a beautiful theater. The bathroom situation is a nightmare. Long long line for one or two single stall toilets.
