Windsor Mt. Ascutney Station does have a shelter.....IT is the Windsor Welcome Center on Railroad Avenue. It is Windsor's Ct. Riv. Byways Center and has facilities and is warm and welcoming. For information on when the train will be arriving and for information on how to get a ticket is available as well as luggage tags. It is in need of 2014 Amtrak information.

Great restaurant and good food. Kind of cool to be sitting at our table when the Amtrak train stops right outside the window (comes 2x per day). Live music when we were there which made it a little loud to have a conversation but otherwise we really enjoyed ourselves.
