Great staff and selection. Strong LGBTQ and young adult collections.

Great local bookstore right in the center of Chapel Hill. Great selection of wonderfully curated collection of books and more. Check out the staff recommendations, now with two tables. I'm sure you can sense the excitement building. Very helpful staff, authors are often in the back room for a book signing or reading.

Great non-chain bookstore. Each book has detailed handwritten notes highlighting useful information without providing spoilers. Staff will also help find books of any interest. Highly recommended, this is a great example of a well run, locally owned small business.

This is a very charming bookstore with a knowledgeable and passionate staff. They have loads of staff recommendations with great write-ups. I love that they have a used book section in the store, which will buy your books and which also has a great selection of affordable titles.

Great little independent book shop. The staff are great and it definitely feels like it's part of the community. Since it is small, the selection of books is limited but what they have is always a great read.

The best kind of dinosaur. I try to buy all books here. The staff is knowledgeable. The actual building is cool. They invest deeply in the community (they don't ever hesitate to make donations to non profits). Really amazing place.

Truly excellent book shop! Now, they have used books as well. They always have wonderful authors coming through and fun events in coordination with local groups and centers. Their children's section and local section are frequently updated. We love the reviews from staff.

This is a great bookstore. They have alot of new books from all great authors. The new books are priced like new books ($$). They have a huge separate room with gently used books with reasonable prices ($-$$). If you do not find the book or author you are looking for they will locate the book for you in a reasonable time frame.

It is a great place to find all kinds of books, old and new. They have something for everybody, any age or interest. Me and my fiance went to get some gardening books, and I got some unique cards I thought my sister would like. It is very LGBT friendly, which is great!

The sole survivor of the multitude of new-and-used bookstores that used to fill Chapel Hill. Huge selections, knowledgeable and helpful staff, lots of small non-book literary gifts, and right beside a great location for a coffee or light meal.
